(GS3) Field: Destroyed Shopping District

Rosalia was back to window-shopping when she received the text, and obviously it was from Seifer. But a second later, her phone started to ring. Who the heck is call- oh! She clicked 'answer'. "Hey Mom~" The redhead moved to the closest alley, taking just a few steps in so she could talk without disturbing random pedestrians. Her mom confirmed sending her package as soon as possible, and should arrive tomorrow during school, though Rosalia would have to get it after Cardfight Club. As the last of her call came to a close, the female was on her way to the coffee shop, hanging up and putting her phone away just as she walked in the door. It wasn't hard to find Seifer, noticing Satoshi a moment later. She walked over to the pair of males, only to hug Seifer from behind, even with the chair between them. "Sorry I'm late~ Hopefully I'm not interrupting?..." she explained, adjusting so that she was now sitting next to Seifer, hugging his arm and resting her head on his shoulder.

Satoshi put down his mug, crossing his arms a bit. "Well...I feel like we got off on the wrong foot. The money I gave you...you probably thought it was a lot, right?" He shook his head. "Recently, I've not been able to be around people, and so anything I can do for others, I just...I want to be able to do it, because it matters to me." He bit his lip a bit. "And I feel bad, because I flirted with your ladyfriend a little, but you're both interesting, and..."

So many things, running through his mind. He even wanted to mention the ring. But...

"I feel guilty that I asked you to do stuff like we know each other that well. Like when I messaged you about practicing a bit." He shrugged. "It's not really my place."

He noticed Rosalia had shown up, which made him blush a bit that he had brought her up. Whoops.

Yugure found herself in a bit of an aimless wander. Knowing two important people in her life are more than likely disgusted with her presence was indescribable. It's not like she could blame Hana for being sick of her, and Haruka for probably not wanting to see her for her unannounced disappearance. It wasn't her fault, really. The matter would have to be explained, but would he even listen...? ... Taking a deep breath, the paladins help rationalize that she was over-exaggerating. Only two days in and the soldier is panicking inside. Right, keeping herself composed was how to win a war.

While getting a hold of herself, she took note of Satoshi in the coffee shop with... somebody. The lion warrior spoke up, stating that it was a man from a year ago on the New York stage. He was one of the five champions, even. There was a girl in there with them too. ... But they were in the coffee shop. A year of bloody training still couldn't remove the systematic nausea that came with the smell of caffeine.

The champion might be helpful, yet, she couldn't very well just speak of it in front of Satoshi when it was decided he wasn't mentally prepared to assist.

Despite not having a real plan, the doors opened as she entered.

Seifer listened to the other male, even as he felt a pair of arms wrap around him, and a familiar voice rang out close to him. It was a voice he enjoyed hearing now more than ever. "Not much, we just started talking." the brunette told the red head, moving his frame to allow her to lean against his shoulder and side comfortably. "Well, long as you don't anymore, I guess it's fine. But asking to practice I don't think is a bad thing, just don't make a habit out of it." he replied to Satoshi, glancing up as someone he vaguely recognized from a year ago. What she was doing here now... He had no idea, but his gaze drifted back to Satoshi and waited for his response first.

Rosalia relaxed with her companion, clinging to his arm carefully so that it wasn't too tight. She didn't know what they were talking about before, but the redhead only smiled at Satoshi. "Thanks for paying for ice cream before~ It was really nice of you. We'll have to treat you in return somehow.. Do you like homemade cookies?" she asked casually. She had already grabbed cooking ingredients when she and Seifer had their grocery trip, but she didn't have time to bake anything yet. This would be a nice 'thank you', and maybe she could make extra to bring to the Cardfight club. But as she felt Seifer move slightly, Rosalia followed his gaze to another girl that had entered the coffee shop. Maybe they knew each other?... Last time she thought that, it was completely confusing Noel for a stalker instead of his sister. But.. perhaps now, it felt a bit different? She didn't say anything to the stranger as the other girl hasn't approached yet. Instead, Rosalia released Seifer's arm, wrapping her arms instead about his waist so she was curled up into his side. Mmm... warm...

Satoshi nodded. "Thanks for understanding." He was about to respond to Rosalia, but then...

Yukino was there. A bit out of the blue, but then he put two and two together. Seifer was here and Seifer was a champion. Likely, she was here for him in some way, since he had brought the young man up in their dinner conversation. Of course, she was going to be disappointed if she was expecting something out of him, after the last conversation he had with him about the War of Liberation.

He acknowledged the Chosen Sword with a nod.

Yugure felt like she was intruding... Still, the excuse of patrolling - scouting out the city could be used. It was sort of instinctive, unsure why the action of bothering them was taken. The other girl was definitely completely unfamiliar to her. "Hello", she greeted everyone, returning Satoshi's nod directly. Spending time with a friend would be nice, and having new allies would be better... The problem is she still can't properly interact with people.

"I-Is there room for another?"

The woman stuttered for a second.

"I don't see why not. There's a fourth chair so..." he motioned to the empty chair at the other side of the table, next to Rosalia. He wasn't expecting however, the red head to of wrapped her arms around his waist and practically press herself into his side. He didn't notice her look at Yukino beforehand though, so the action brought a light red glow to his cheeks. This was definitely new, since he'd never actually interacted with Yukino herself. His last memory of her was the lights flying past his head, and then her passing out. "What brings you here?" he asked her directly, locking his eyes on her while adjusting his body a bit more so that now this time he was comfortable, having to put his arm around Rosalia now.

The redhead smiled blissfully as she felt Seifer's arm around her, even if it was just to make himself more comfortable with her clinging to his torso. Not that she minded. She was as happy as could be, only brought out of her 'happy world' when the other female spoke. This time, Rosalia examined her fully, and.. the other girl stuttered? It was strangely ironic, simply because Rosalia herself was just getting used to interacting with others. It was a lot easier with Seifer by her side, and making this connection, the redhead nodded to the other girl, speaking confidently for once. "Take a seat~ My name is Rosalia Mooncrest. And it's okay if you don't recognize me. You're one of Seifer's friends, right? I only met Seifer about a year ago, so I'm still learning everyone's names. It's nice to meet you~"

"Lonely night", Yugure responded to the man. Seeing the other girl on this champion and how he responded made it clear they were a couple. A wish was made - the desire to have never seen this. It wasn't their fault, but it was still unsettling. All the Sword could do was keep quiet about her angst. Be nice - friendly! Communicate. Things people normally do in get-togethers. The things she did with Satoshi at dinner, with Haruka... With... Haru-

Goddammit.

Taking a seat, words started coming out without thinking about it. "We didn't get to properly meet one another last year... did we? My name is Yugure, it's nice to meet you and your friend here. I hope you're both getting along with Satoshi."

Was that right? The soldier added a kind, introduction smile to that as well.

It wasn't that hard to notice certain... aspects... about Yugure that showed she was just about as awkward as Rosalia was in conversation, or so it seemed. At least for Seifer anyway. In any case, when the female sat down, he kept his eyes on her since she had his current focus. "We didn't get a chance to, though you probably already know my name, I'm Seifer Leo. Obviously the..." his voice trailed off at the end him almost mentioning the War of Liberation topic and him being a champion. "In any case it's nice to meet you face to face and actually talk to you." it was true, he always tried to make friends with everyone unless they just weren't friendly. She seemed friendly enough though, even with the somewhat obvious awkwardness in interactions.

"Seifer... Rosalia... Seifer... Rosalia..." Yugure began repeating their names, engraving them into memory. It distracted her from the fact that it looked like the champion could see right through the inability to talk normally. Doing the best at keeping up that friendly expression, it was noted that he almost sounded like bragging. "Obviously" the champion of a clan. He should be proud of it.

"I only heard your name once, and didn't get to memorize it at the time... My apologies. Did you come here to see Satoshi?" On top of an apology, a random guess was made for the reason concerning this gathering. The farmboy could just simply be seeing a friend with coffee. ... Maybe she shouldn't pry into their business, and regret was forming.

Rosalia listened quietly to the conversation. Though she was here, she didn't have much of a place to talk. This Yugure girl at least knew of Seifer and Satoshi from year before, when the redhead knew nothing about what was transpiring at the time. She was given a brief explanation for the most part, but she also knew how the talk of the war seemed to bother Seifer... She shifted slightly, her grasp loosening around the brunette's torso, simply relaxing while the others talked. Eventually, she stifled a small yawn, but otherwise started to doze. I could use some tea right now... Rosalia considered getting up to get a drink if just to keep herself awake, but she was so relaxed... and Seifer was like a personal, warm pillow... Soon enough, she was sleeping soundly, forgetting the fact that they were in public.

Seifer quietly listened as Yugure tried to memorize their names, noticing that she seemed to already know Satoshi's by heart. That was understandable, since Seifer himself didn't know anyone until just last year, and there was no telling really how long everyone else had been around here without asking them. In any case as the female apologized he should his head. "You don't need to apologize. I don't mind meeting new people, or getting know know others. So it's not a big deal, he just wanted to talk to me." I was then he noticed though that the red head's grip had loosened and he pulled her up just a bit without waking her, keeping her up right as she slept against him.

Satoshi remained silent. He thought there would be more to say, and once again, the black ring crossed his mind to ask about. But...

Lock away your problems, Kurosaki. The voice again...

He stood up suddenly, feeling a bit uncomfortable. He didn't want to have any kind of an outburst around other people, that was inconsiderate of him. He nodded curtly to Seifer, thanking him again silently for letting him apologize, and rushed out the door, forgetting to acknowledge Yukino again as well.

She probably she was being socially awkward, but there was no doubt that that would change her mind a bit. His mind racing, he decided the best place to be would end up being the beach.
