(GS3) Field: Destroyed Shopping District

Rosalia hummed to herself as she wandered the streets of the shopping district. She would always see fighters and normal citizens alike, and sure enough, today was no different. She found the first fighter she could find, a guy with obnoxiously blonde hair that it was pretty much white. It was clearly dyed, but he was a fighter nonetheless. "Hi there~ Do you wanna have a fight? I'm new~" The male easily agreed and they moved to the closest alleyway to have their fight. Of course as they readied up, the ominous field appeared, the female grinning ear to ear.

The fight itself was quick enough, and the victor was obvious. As a new fighter joined the ranks of Reverse, Rosalia brushed her hair back and looked up at the sky. It was hard to see, still standing in the alleyway, but hey, she didn't care. More... more... The kingdom will spread... Watching her new fighter leave the alley to recruit more to her cause, Rosalia followed and headed into another direction to cover more ground.

Noel managed to make it to the shopping district as fast as she could. The streets were empty and no signs of life but she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Please be ok... just... please...

She kept, now at a walking pace, looking around the different little streets and alleyways but nothing. That was until she turned to the next street and found a familiar figure. A girl with long red hair, it was Rosalia. "Rosalia! Thank goodness! I'm so glad I... found... you...." Noel sensed something was wrong, No... no....

Rosalia, her back to Noel at first, waved away a few other fighters who obeyed without a word. She tapped the moon pendant, pitch black compared to the bright white it once was when Seifer had first given it to her. She only turned when she heard her name, and though the markings weren't visible at the moment, her eyes were clearly different. They were originally pale red, though her left eye held a bright crimson glint to it, while her right eye was practically glowing. "Oooooh?~~~ Noelyyyy!~ How nice of you to come find me!~ I was soooo lost without youuu..." She snickered, a dark aura surrounding her as she tilted her head at the other female. "Soooo guess what your reward is!~ You get to be part of my beloved circus-kingdom! Won't that be fun? You'll be the most beautiful actress on center stage, except for myself of course~ You and your pretty, pretty Jewel Knights!"

No... this can't be... I... I couldn't do a thing...

Noel closed her eyes in disbelief and tears started to flow down her closed eyes. Rosalia looked like the fighter Tsubasa faced the day before. The facial expression, the look in her eyes full of lifeless life if that made sense, and the dark black and red aura surrounded her. Her personality even made a complete 180 degree twist. "I... I have no choice... I swear I will bring you back!! I will make sure the next time Seifer sees you, you will be your normal self again!!"

Noel's eyes got fierce and filled with anger, a feeling she hardly ever displayed seriously. She pulled her deck out as Noel glowed a sky blue aura. It was time to cardfight, but this time, their lives were at stake. A fight Noel couldn't afford in losing.

Rosalia listened actually quietly as Noel yelled at her, watching the tears fall before being replaced by anger. "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Your colors are raging like a fiery blade, the flames glinting against the jewels of sorrow!" Her snickers became full out laughter, insanity being her own emotion as she drew her own deck. The field around them formed, floating tables of a pale red color appearing before each player as Rosalia set her vanguard face down. "And Seifer, you say?... Don't worry. You can help me find him when we're done, and then he will become my King in this wondrous kingdom!!"

Noel's determination of saving Rosalia from the Reverse raised her strength to its maximum output. It was the first time she ever went truly serious and it was for the right reason, to save one of her few friends that she care for the most. "I won't let you win!! Stand up the Vanguard!!"

Noel was on fire, her own will and determination of purifying Rosalia's heart resonated with her own deck which also allowed her sky blue aura flare up in intensity. Draw trigger, draw trigger, heal trigger, heal trigger, critical trigger. Noel was getting trigger after trigger, relentlessly attacking Rosalia's Silver Thorns with the proud might of her own Jewel Knights. Just when the fight seemed to be in her favor, Rosalia rode into her Reverse unit. A corrupted form of Luquier known as the Silver Thorn Dragon Queen. Luquier's beautiful black hair now stained in a blood red color with a giant black and red ring circling behind her. From that point on, the fight's momentum slowly started going into Rosalia's favor.

The fight raged on with powerful back and forth attacks until Noel's defenses slowly started to cripple against the corrupted Pale Moon's power. Noel was getting desperate and eventually found herself with no hand and Luquier Reverse dealt the finishing blow. No... this can't be... I... I wasn't strong enough...

Tears started coming down Noel's face for she knew what was going to happen. "Seifer... everyone... I'm sorry... I tried... I wanted to be strong like you all...." Then the dark red and black aura engulfed Noel which caused her tremendous pain. She let out a loud scream that anyone in the shopping district or maybe even as far as the park could hear it. "I... I... I can't... no... I... must.... resist...!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Noel desperately tried to resist, fighting the evil energy with every ounce of strength but the more she resisted the more pain was inflicted. She held her head and tried to walk away, her conscious slowly fading, her strength rapidly vanishing, her vision becoming blurry by the second. That was when she heard the voice once more...

I told you... we would come for you... welcome to the Void!

She started crying after realizing that her nightmares have come true and yelled one more time, "NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

The commotion attracted local fighters who had no clue what happened. All they saw was a girl that was getting up and slowly turned her head to see them, a red light emanating from her eyes and red fang-like marks on her face. "Tell me, are any of you strong?

The group of fighters responded to the taunt and they all took out their decks with great confidence. In record time, the girl defeated all of them, "I guess not..." She walked towards the red haired girl, "Weakness is a sin... perfect candidates to be your little minions, Rosalia..."

Noel has become Reversed

Seifer, after having made his way here from the dangerous place that was made more dangerous by two others showing up, stopped dead in his tracks at one end of the shopping district. It was way to quiet. Where was everyone? It was almost like one of those horror flicks that just had one person in a long narrow place with nothing happening until he gets halfway in and when he does...

"Are you strong?" Are you serious? In horror movie fashion Seifer was soon blocked off from proceeding any further by a massive amount of Reverse fighters. "Well... I didn't think it was going to be that easy but this is pretty ridiculous." he sighed pulling out his deck and readying to fight each and every one of them. The echoes and shouts of each fallen Reverse fighter, and the screams of pain as they were drained of the evil energy echoed throughout the district. Probably drawing the attention of two select fighters and their minions. If they decided to investigate, they'd see a half reversed Seifer standing in the middle of what looked like a massacre scene, just no blood, his marking glowing brightly and a soft but distinct aura of flames.

Rosalia watched with a mad grin at Noel's pain, watching almost happily as she was Reversed. A new actress stood on the stage, and the redhead wandered off. Noel would do fine with collecting others for her circus, as well as whatever else she wished to do. But the Queen was distracted, sensing something... off. Soon she heard screams, letting the painful cries guide her way to the other end of the shopping district. Was there more Reverse fighters working for her? Or just in general? The thought brought a smile to her lips, only for it to fade when she saw the bodies littering the streets like corpses, having just been Un-Reversed instead. No... no no no... Who would DARE destroy my work?! Standing in the middle of the bodies, the sight of the all too familiar brunette brought the wild grin to the redhead's lips. "Ooh!~ Seiferrrrr!!!! How good of you to finally show up!~ I can't wait to tell you all that I've been up to... And all of it just for you!~"

She stopped just a few feet out of reach, happier than ever with the widest grin possible. Her own Reverse markings were still in plain view from her fight against Noel, her eyes mismatched and nearly clashing as her left remained a pale red with just a soft glint, while her right eye was glowing madly. Even the white moon pendant was now black as night, a similar color to the aura that surrounded her. "Seiferrrr~ Don't you want to play?... We can finally be together forever and ever and ever, as the rightful King and Queen we were meant to be! Noely will be happy to know you've come to join us in my pretty circus kingdom!~"

As the brunette was about to press forward, his worst fear stepped in front of him. Well, crap. She was reversed and with how she spoke he could only guess that Noel was to. What a pain. "Well, hun... You see the thing is..." he gave a soft smirk as his aura flared up even more, both of his hands settled into his pockets. "I'm not in the mood to become it's puppet, or yours for that matter. However appealing and fun that sounds." as he spoke, his face contorted from a gentle loving one to one that looked like he could break a building in half if he wanted to. The intimidation look helped since the fiery aura he had cast a shadow over his face, soft red eyes, and the mark the only things able to really be discerned through it all. "So... You want me to stand at your side however... Mmmmm, wouldn't you rather stand at mine. Away from all of it? All this puppetry. Everyone else getting in the way of us?" for some reason Seifer was acting maybe a little bit different from normal, or maybe it was just his filter finally breaking and some of who he really was coming out. Someone would probably think the brunette had succumbed to the reverse again, but the way he moved, and didn't go insane again proved he wasn't.

"Rosalia vs Seifer eh, this should be interesting" Neo said from a distance.

Neo then walked up to get a closer view of the action.

"So Seifer, How do you plan to get out of this mess" Neo said with an evil chuckle

Rosalia frowned at the aura, more so as to his answer. He wasn't going to stand with her?... Was he going to leave her?... "No.. no.. I don't want that! I want you to be my King. Mine! Stand by my side! Stand at the center of the stage! We could make everyone happy... Everything colorful..." She clenched her fists by her side, staring into the shadows that covered his face. Her own aura flared up, her right eye glowing brighter than before in sync with her pendant. "This is my power, and mine alone! Nothing stands between us now, and never will! I am Queen and you will be my glorified King, sitting upon the throne as our subjects entertain and answer my call and whip!!" Much like Luquier Reverse herself, even Rosalia's hair seemed to darken in color, a beautiful blood-red crimson. With a wave of her hand, the familiar Reverse fight fields appeared, slamming her deck down with such force, even her aura shuddered. "I won't let anything take you from me!!!"

"Well that's disappointing. I was hoping to get you back to my side without fighting." he sighed, placing his deck on the fight table, the aura dying down, only to reappear like black flames. "I don't understand why you're so insistent in having others around us if you want just me, but this is fine. I'll show you how wrong you are and take you back with my own hands."

Rosalia glared at the brunette, placing her vanguard just before the fight started. "I won't fall... The Queen stands center stage, and the show goes on for eternity!! Stand up, my vanguard!"

Throughout the fight, could it be considered even? She hit four damage early, saved by an early double heal. And without much retires save for a few from Blaster Dark Revenger, there wasn't a terrible need to constantly refill her field. She should have had it set... and yet, it was like her cards themselves started to disobey the Queen's command. Three of her four Zelma into the damage. And a lack of a second trigger when she first needed it. But she got it the second time, and yet... Seifer's deck answered faithfully with the double heal... When it came to Dragruler's final attack, a double trigger again, with a critical to boot. Her first damage was a sixth heal, but the second... again, her deck didn't answer... The female stared down at her cards, hands shaking with eyes wide. "No... No no no no no no... This is not how it was supposed to end! This is all wrong! The show must.. must go on!..." Rosalia lifted her gaze to Seifer, a terrible glare from her glowing eyes. But before she could say another word, her aura turned on her, shrouding her in a cloak of pain. "N-nooo!! I cannot fall!!!" She collapsed to her knees, then fell forward as her cries came to an end. The aura escaped her with an unearthly shriek, all glowing ceasing to exist.

When she shifted again, her lips parted in a soft whimper. Her body ached to no end, having barely the strength at first to open her eyes. "A-aaaah.. owwwww.... Hurts... so much... Where... am I?..." Rosalia turned her head to try and look around, she winced and shut her eyes again. Wherever she was, the ground was solid. A sidewalk? A road? The last she remembered was being in the park with... someone?.... It hurt to try and remember...

During the fight, Seifer remained calm, pressuring the reversed female with questions and trying to make her question her own actions. At the end of it, Seifer's Revengers responded to his staggering will and determination, striking quickly and efficiently, and saving him when he needed it. At the end of the fight, Mordred evolved, gaining the power to transcend realms, and break Luquier free of her spell. As his own aura died down and the female lay on the side walk trying to remember, he scooped her up princess style. Oddly enough the male showed no fatigue from this hard fight and the fights before it. And he didn't say a single word when he lifted her up off the ground, just cradled her.

"O-o-ow ow ow-w..." Rosalia whimpered quietly as she was picked up. Even if she wasn't moving herself, moving at all hurt like never before. She would have been okay just laying on the ground, wanting to sink into the coolness of the cement and never move again. But she did recognize behind held by someone, forcing her eyes open again even if they only opened halfway. Her vision was blurred, blinking a few times to focus, and what she saw first was simply the color of brown hair. "S.. se-eifer?... What.. happened?... I-i was... I was at the park?... but.. I-i don't.. O-ow..."
