With the gate appearing. Hikaru took out Dark Band's card and began to focus his energy onto it, the card glowed in a black and red aura as it changed it shape into a smaller scale of Dark Band's humongous sword. He raises up to the air.
"Let the swords of the void rain hell on this planet." He spoke nonchalantly

Satoshi's body rose from its kneeled position, a stern look returning to its facial features. Nebula Lord was back in control, and this time, it had to armor up. The rings on his hand spawned two larger rings, chakrams, into his hands. The Seed demanded his presence in the voice of another, and it was his duty to serve.

The figure's attention quickly shifted to Darren, who was pretty much his first victim. Yet another person who had to resort to their own monsters to fight, but this one couldn't even get a hold of their own deck. The figure shook It's head and looked down, slowly walking towards him as if It was about to charge and strike him down.
But It stopped upon hearing someone, no, more than one person humming some sort of tune. The figure looked around trying to figure out where it was coming from. Only when the masses turned their heads up looking at the top of a skyscapter did It notice the source, a girl of angel-like presence and another person with her, a person that gave the Figure a really odd feeling that It couldn't really discribe, but it wasn't the good kind of feeling. The figure's stare wouldn't drop focus from the man next to said "Angel", even after all the explosions and rubbles.
In the meantime, the hazy figure seemed angry, furious even focusing it's stare at the Angel, slamming it's enormous tail into the ground with enough force to break the floor.

Sera's grin formed again.
The one he hid before.
A Cheshire grin flashed at lightspeed and disappeared, as if painted on his face like some messed up portrait, then quickly evaporated into a normal smile. Sera smiled walking forward, then, in the blink of an eye he had flashed forward across the field.
"G - l - a - d - l - y." That was the word that had flashed through space and time as Overlord's presence began to take a predatory stance. No, it was more than predatory. It was on the level of the greatest conquerors there were. He was in front of Yugure and Seifer, as well as the nearby Satoshi. He brought Hana along of course, only fair since she flew him all the way out here. They were partners in crime tonight, at least.
A wry grin turned to a solemn stare at the main event. Yugure. The Clown would wait tonight, there were a few things to settle. Sera took note of Seifer, but left him out of this for now. He said his piece to him before, no need to speak up. Raging Form Dragon's presence was more than invading. With all of this energy it wouldn't take long to reverse these three in an instant...
But where is the fun in that?
"Yugure." Sera felt a tinge of guilt for only a moment, but quickly discarded the thought remembering the show he had to put on tonight. There were just things that had to get done tonight, and this was one of them. Taking on one of the strongest warriors left on the opposing side well, that would be quite the achievement, no?
"Tell me that dragon isn't for show. I expect a bit more than that." With the manipulation of Reverse energy, the star-locked prison was created. Enveloped in a cloak of dark and the starry cosmos laid the two; Sera: An angel with forbidden contempt for existence, and Yugure: The Sword of Cray.
"I don't know if you want to hear what I have to say, but at least honor me with a fight. After all, I came all the way here for
you
anyways."

When Cero reached Hana, he brought out his deck. Once again, the first person he met in Japan was his greatest obstacle. Fate had quite the sense of humour when it came to this. "Hana! It's time I repay the favour! I'll wake you from your nightmare, and end Reverse here and now!" As Cero shouted, a bolt of lightning shot up and struck the Gate. This very well could be his final battle. He had to go all out, even if it cost him his life.

Darren saw the figure moving towards him. He made it slow, as if Darren could not fight. He wasn't wrong. In his state, Darren could do nothing to protect himself. He figured this was the moment that scythe would cut him through and he would be reversed again, if not worse. It was a blade after all, and those kill on contact.
When he actually stopped, Darren looked up, his eyes wide as he realized what its attention was on. That was Hana, wasn't it? The voice was too familiar. Even as an enemy she was saving his butt. Something about it made him angry. For all he tried to do he still couldn't help situations like this, and now he had a foot in the grave and the only thing keeping the other foot out was her song.
Something filled Darren at that moment, not hate, rage or desire. It was a determination, a drive to fight with all he had left. If he couldn't do anything else, he at least wanted to punch this giant... clown as he was called, right in its jaw for all it had done until now. His pocket glowed as a unit answer his call. A large robotic fist came up and attacked, aiming directly at the distracted clown. The fist came from a blue arm. It wasn't Daikaiser. It was
Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha
. The energy that came from his appearance was enough to made Darren yell out in pain and fall to his knees, but Daiyusha was still there all the same.

The Chosen Sword was more than infuriated with Sera's appearance. She longed for Haruka back, but a warrior who didn't believe in miracles happening by chance knew... She knew that simply defeating this menace wouldn't give her beloved back. Her eyes closed as the dark space encroached around, Gancelot made sure to return to her, while Raging Form stayed outside with Dragruler. Salome left to assist the resistance, and Ahmes took his place next to his friend.
"I..."
Seething rage again.
"... will simply kill you all."
Though Raging Form was taunted, and he apparently had more to say... Yugure simply responded with how she felt at the moment. That's all she could do beyond fight.

I Will Face Myself -Reincarnation-
The battle started, easily showing heat and hell that they were no match for what was going to happen in the star-locked prison. Sera took his opening turns easy, as did Yugure without much of a problem. A small critical sneaked it's way into a drive check causing Sera to lose his edge a bit early. But all hope was still alive. Both managed to get a grip on their Breakride units, one of which being....
His Avatar. Overlord, Haruka's connector to existence. The only chance he has of holding on anymore.
The battle raged on, Sera forced to hold off on an attack in order to keep Yugure from her Breakride turn. Things were turning and they were turning fast. Sera was on his last hope with three grade 3's in hand. Breakride without using its skill? No choice now. Sera had to make an entrance, despite his clear lack of strength still. His bodily form was deteriorated and the Reverse energy pouring in did nothing during Cardfights themselves. This was him at about 70%, working off of the chaos around him. Fighting in the host body also gave a slight power decrease in his ability to consistently obtain what he wants.
"Overlord... bathe in the flames of darkness, and birth yourself once more! Ride, MY Avatar, Dragonic Overlord, Za... Rebaasu!"
There he was. A magnificent, powerful creature enveloped in the Lock's embrace. Or rather, controlling the lock. This unit was different, far, far different than the other reversed ones in that, he was not captured by some silly Reverse. He demanded its power. He
took
it's power for his own. Overlord was in a state of complete frenzy, ready to tear apart whatever he came across with a restanding skill at the cost of locking five, count it, five rear guards, and one counterblast. As well as a minor drop of two cards, to equal out the card draw.
This didn't prove all too much in the final assault, however. Due to the lack of opposing front row rear guards, no Breakride skill would go online, relying on a single restand to get him through this. A critical trigger came his way, giving him some leeway but...
It failed to pull through, as Yukino....
Yu-Yukino?
She pulled through with a powerful defense! Not only that, but she managed to get a full Gancelot Crossbreakride! Gancelot Zenith, a holy knight who can call upon units from the top of the deck and increase their power severely. He was a force to be reckoned with. Despite getting perfect guarded, another knight was called.... one Overlord knew well.
Blaster Blade, Liberator. Ahmes came forth. Yukino called for him....
H-ar-....
And call for him....
Har-u.....
And called for him-
Haruka!
Ahmes' attack finished Rebirth off, sending Sera to six damage. A breaking, hot feeling invaded Sera's chest. A heartbeat. A yell. A warcry. The sound of a boy. An innocent whimper. The sound of every notable and lovable thing in Haruka's-Ser-Ha-S-
Haruka's mind began to wonder aimlessly in a world of white. The conscience of Sera had merged with Haruka's, however.... It left Haruka unable to convey his emotions accurately. Their voices overlapped. The sound of Haruka and Sera came to an awkward truancy of a brash boy breaking through and an evil dictator forcing it back down his throat.
"Yukino!"
Clenching his teeth, he finally opened his jaw.
"Yu-ki-no.."
Haruka and Sera spoke. Haruka was not dead... not really... However he was not of the same body. He was a merged living entity, taking control of the body at a time where Sera took it another. He reached out to her. Placing a hand on hers, as he collapsed to his knees. A gentle laugh.... And he was gone.
The time space distortion ripped Sera and Haruka to skyscraper, on command of Sera... he couldn't let her have him back. Not yet. There was still much to do.

Cero's lightning bolt which struck the gate was eaten up by the dark energy and reflected as a shot of black thunder, shooting into Hana's hand. From that, her deck appeared.
"
Looks like Sera is going off to enjoy himself, it's best that I do enjoy myself in the meantime. Dealing with Screamo-kun wouldn't hurt.
" She stepped forward. "
I'll accept your challenge, and reject all else.
"
With a smile, the space around them became enveloped in a gentle light. Feathers of beauty, masters of the curing spells. Gently... gently... they dragged Cero's Narukami into the deep dark void, destroying them one by one and turn per turn.
Cross-Break Ride.
When Clean-up Celestial, Ramiel "Reverse" descended upon the field, the gentle light turned into a negative dark power, as the Princess felt it, the power to lock. With Ramiel, she was able to clear away Vowing Sword, then soon after slash Descendant apart, but Cero didn't go down without a fight. He was able to restand and activate Descendant's limit break on two separate turns. Even with four attacks on his Vanguard column, he was unable to break through. The lightning shook the Earth, but Ramiel struck back, the area was further decimated.
"
Clean up, complete.
" Hana teased him as Descendant was the only one left on his rearguard. His Vanguard now stood alone.
Ramiel attacked on her command and dealt a blow to Descendant, sending the dragon back to it's champion. Afterwards, she gathered the dark energy and hit Cero with a good dose of it, causing a burst which would push him back. "
Now you can have your special prize for performing with me today...
"
Cero was out, definitely not going to wake up anytime soon.
"
Vermillion?..
"
An image of the proud dragon protected him as he laid there, injured and asleep. The reverse energy was unable to penetrate through the dragon's protection, it's lightning redirecting all of the attempts.
"
I see..
" Hana smiled faintly, using her power to call the reverse energy back to her. "
Looks like, he's just about done having fun too.
"
Hana's wings spread as she returned back to Sera to check on how his little experience went.

Darren saw that the two fights happening before him, or at least he wishes that he did. They were actually within barriers making it impossible to see, but when they faded it was clear to see two things. He saw that Yukino won and that Cero lost. He was happy for Yukino, wanting to call out to her but he was already holding his body in pain. The power that came from materializing a unit, even in this space in which it was possible for almost any cardfighter to do so, was just too much for his body to bare.
His time was up. He looked up at Daiyusha before what he knew would be his final moments before passing out and asked a simple question.
"Why... why save me after everything? You... you...
The voice guiding you at that time was not mine...
Daiyusha responded.
Even now, are you unable to tell the difference?
Thinking about it, there was truth to it. Darren wouldn't know the difference before as it was the first unit he ever heard, but now... he knew that it couldn't be this hero who spoke to him.
I was made into a voiceless puppet, but that doesn't mean I don't have to answer for allowing myself to fall into that state. Whatever it takes, I will protect you...
Darren was about to say something, but his eyes whited out. The pain was too much, his body needed rest. He couldn't fight it anymore, and he finally passed out.

Once again,
they
faced off. Two of the most historical figures in Cray's history - two of those who led this generation as
vanguards
.
Ahmes and Overlord.
Though Ahmes was in golden trimming instead of his natural blue and white armory, that hidden blueness in his Royal Paladin days still shined for the duel of the colors that clashed over and over for eternity: Blue and Red.
Gold Paladin and Kagero fought a white-hot battle within the locked space. Though Liberators wanted to do everything in power to repel the phantom menace that was the Seed, Yugure led with absolute rage. Seeing Kagero didn't daunt her, and in fact, only served to further anger. Link Joker took almost everything from her, and they weren't done either. However, it wasn't the thought of not being harvested that drove the woman. No... Before her was still the body of her most cherished. The very sight of it signaled by her ferocious gaze that now was the time to
strike back
.
Refraining from bursting into screams, Alm and Fargo stared down one another. Marron and Gojo were next. Star Rain, followed by Gold Lancer proceeded to thrust themselves forward. Sera stated that her silence wasn't a good way to greet her loved ones. This thing wasn't Haruka, nor was it anyone else she loved. Nehalem and Bahr retaliated, taking out Gold Lancer. It only took the uprising of the fight's speed to make her change her mind.
Yugure didn't care that defeating Sera wouldn't realistically give Haruka back at this point. All she wanted was to have him back anyway.
Early in the game, Sera revealed an Overlord that baffled the paladins. The Black Ring was noticeable, but the sheer power the card emitting shook many of them. Was Dragon Empire's champion even Reversed...? That was the kind of force commanders of Link Joker gave off. This proved it: Sera was most definitely true leader of the Binding Forces. However, he could've been a footstool lackey for all the soldier cared. Gancelot appeared, taking the charge again with Exerado and Marron following behind. In response, the Seraphim summoned Haruka's avatar: the dragon whose apocalyptic flames purge everything... Dragonic Overlord. Seeing it sent a chill down everyone's spine. Now, in the hands of the invaders, its presence brought fear far greater than the beast instilled back in the days before the War of Liberation. Ahmes... was excited, however. Yes, of course he was. It's always the two of them, isn't it?
Taking the offensive, Kagero amassed a heavy assault on Gold Paladin. A number of things kept them together like glue. One major thing was definitely Gancelot, as he desired all along. Everyone followed his lead, playing safely as Sera didn't give Yugure her fourth damage. The woman had gotten an advantage with Criticals and Exerado having a large power stat that would've taken too much to stop. There were two precautions in not calling anyone next to Gancelot. One, she knew the power of Overlord's Break Ride firsthand, knowing her allies would be roasted had they stayed out there. Two, she would force him to give her the Limit Break damage. Most definitely... she and her buddy Gancelot would reach Haruka and Overlord. They had to reach her beloved and a warrior of Cray who lost his mind.
Overlord the Rebirth.
Dragonic Overlord, THE Яe-birth. The massive superdragon Crossbreakride that was beyond measure in strength. Dread washed over Yugure's paladins, even the ones that couldn't bare witnesses to the spectacle. Literally everything was annihilated in its wake, the very earth beneath its feet dissolving from its immense being. What in the hell was this monstrosity?! This was completely different from The End... It no longer fought with allies, locking all of its own rearguards like any other Reverse unit would. However, the devastation of its skill struck true. Ten thousand more power, and even another Stand. A massive 33000 powered behemoth that they couldn't stop. Mark wasn't in sight. He was actually in the backlines, fearful for his life, understandably so. A Critical even came Sera's way for the first swing, pushing Yugure to five damage - more than she wanted. That wasn't the actual problem. The problem was Overlord now stood at 38000, two Criticals. Yugure had miraculously healed from the first hit, and still found herself daunted.
... She couldn't give up though. All the hell she's been through, the invaders won't keep pushing around humanity. That was why the girl stood as a warrior of both worlds - to see everyone survives. Not only that... but even if she was bringing back a lifeless corpse, Haruka would return to her. Hana would return, Overlord would return, Ashlei would return, every last person was coming back.
The Liberators threw themselves into the fray, choking back their dread. Even if they would die, they wouldn't allow hope to be lost. It was still a worthy two-to-pass gamble in which Yugure had dropped everything. Overlord the Rebirth kept its Twin Drive, making it twice as ferocious as The End in terms of raw might.
But it didn't reach.
All these feelings were taken in by the wings of the world's bond: Gancelot Zenith. Even then, it was a great stretch. Yugure had only Grade 3 units and a Trigger. So they bet everything on their ace. Epona appeared for a Trigger lane with Alwira to make a desperate push. It was thanks to them and Alm, however, that the Ace of Light would get his shot. His one single shot in the game. Zenith's Limit Break summoned Blaster Blade Liberator at enough power to prove somewhat an issue for a Crossride's power. No triggers arrived, so they pressed onward regardless. Gancelot struck again, and finally, Ahmes shot forth like a comet.
"Haruka!!" Yugure called out to, then everyone called out for Ahmes to land the finishing blow.
When the Seraphim's sixth damage check was confirmed to not be a heal, everything washed over Yugure as if a meteor collided with it. That was exaggerating, but the pain of this war was immense. For a moment, she thought she had whited out.
Eyes opened only in a world of pure white
. An empty void... except them. When Yugure saw him... her mouth opened, but nothing came out. A sea of words wanted to flood forth, yet, silence. Then, the distorted cries of the Seraphim-Haruka argumentative fusion rang out. Her Haruka was alive...
He reached out.
She reached back.
After what felt like an eternity, the lovers had their hands joined together. Unable to hold his warmth before he vanished, the girl mouthed a phrase.
"I'm. Coming. For. You."
A threat to the Seraphim. A promise to Haruka.
The white space dropped, and Yugure was sent flying out onto the ground from the initial pain of the fight that came before the dream. Grunting in pain, the Chosen Sword lifted herself up a bit by her elbows.
Lips curled into a smile.

Well it all seemed to be coming to a close, which was good. Seifer was starting to wear out with all the fighting, having pulled back and panting. He saw Yukino and Sera square off... But couldn't see what happened, nor the result of the fight since there was something blocking him from doing so. He waited anxiously for the end of it. Even sitting down in the middle of a battle and just stared. That being said, he had Dragruler protecting him. He wanted to help Yukino, and yet, couldn't. There wasn't anything he could do now. So he just waited, watching. When the barrier opened back up... Sera was gone, or disappearing... And Yukino was alright. She seemed okay at the very least, though she seemed worse off than he was. Standing wearily nonetheless, he made his way over, waiting for her to make the first interaction, after what she'd been through it only seemed right to let her go first if she chose to.

He lay on the rooftop of the skyscraper he once stood on before his fight against Yukino. Haruka and Sera lay on the building in absolute silence, staring at the sky. The thing is, they're both too afraid to speak to each other.
One of them tried to destroy the people who the other one loved, whilst the other one died and just came back to life. Gripping the sides of his jeans, he clenched his teeth and kept quiet. Neither side wanted to break.
Haruka gave in first. Pushover.
"Why are you doing this? What happened to me? Why can't I remember anything, Sera please talk to me-"
"I did what I had to. I didn't want you involved in that anymore not after..."
"After what?"
More silence. If anyone saw this exchange of speech, everyone would think he's crazy for talking to himself. He is a strange in reality so that actually works fine.
"After I learned what it meant to be a human. To live like one. To know one's emotions. I wanted to keep you safe through all this. I didn't think you would.. Die. And then. Well."
...
"How did you come back?!"
The boy sat silently again. Haruka was going to try to convey death and coming back from it in a nutshell.
"It was a brief lapse of memory. If I was dead, I didn't know it. Felt like I was sleeping without dreaming of something. Coming back was... Someone was waking me up. I heard Yukino yell. I thought she was angry I overslept in bed again and then I realized."
Haruka recalled the fight. He was there towards the end, even when Ahmes attacked. That was Haruka taking all of it in. Due to the lapse of control, a white vortex imploded sucking the two inside of it, before suddenly dispersing and sending them away. Sera took the host body to a skyscraper, but Yukino didn't have that escape luxury and was blown away.
"You can't do this Sera..."
"Watch me."
"Stand down."
They were pretty much immobile, unable to compromise on bodily control.

The arrival of the angel and her companion only seemed to rile up the army that Oshiru led, they not only began to chime in with her but they also charged even more intensely. Diablo saw behind him what everyone was going through Yukino and Cero both had their own struggles to deal with and he did not want this incoming army to be the reason for their downfall.
With a strong motion of his hand he drew his card,
"ENOUGH!"
he shouted, as the force from his draw sent practically the whole army spiraling away as they scattered.
With the card in his hand he brought out the Warrior engraved upon it,
"Blade of Phantasm! Descend now and and reverberate, I summon you Mordred Phantom!"
he said, as Mordred appeared from the sky descending upon Freeze Ray stopping him in his tracks.
Now that the army and Freeze Ray were held back he was able to assess the situation better, what caught his attention was a figure that held an intimidating scythe, but he could notice a striking resemblance between him and someone he had fought before,
"If you're looking for someone to torture then you'll have to get through me first."
he said, as he faced the figure preparing for what might happen.

"Then so be it..." His aura exploded in ferocity as he raises his blade forward. He then rushes at the masked man. Running past other reverse fighter with his enhanced speed, leaping into the air as he brings his blade downward.
