In Block B, Sector II of Umano, along one of the corner stores that no one would suspect, was an empty warehouse which was formerly a card shop. It was a construction of a large proportion, telling the stories of the numerous fights that were once here, and the lives of those who had spent their days having fun and playing Vanguard before the fall of this once great town into its current state many years ago. It was the base of one of the four remaining factions now, with members often scurrying in and out in a manner that would normally make them hard to see, that is, unless one were to look at the building from above. They were like rats, moving along the shadows of the town and meeting up here.
Isabella ran through the the town and straight into the abandoned card shop, her school uniform and bright complexion attracting the attention of multiple thugs as she passed. It was as if she was from a completely different world form them, completely out of place in this town which was now in a sorry state. Water leaked from the pipelines that ran along the walls, and a foul stench was about. The tables were dusty, and chairs were overturned. The counter looked as if it had been used a scratching post and the machine that was once the cash register was in bits and pieces along the ground. The glass windows where shattered, and there were torn Vanguard cards along the ground, some drifting along the puddles of water that had from the pipeline leaks.
"Who's there?!" The figures that stood within the area turned their heads, quickly made aware of the girl who stuck out like a glowing candle in the darkness.
"A girl?" One of them laughed.
"Hey, isn't she that idol?" Another commented, "How cute.."
"Right, you guys are from the four remaining factions? I'm going to politely ask you guys to concede and return to Hikaru Nagisaki's side, bringing an end to the split of the Cardfighting forces here!" Isabella announced confidently.
"We aren't intimidated by you. This is just golden!" A roaring laughter rang across the room.
Isabella didn't frown much, it wasn't very idol-like to do so, but she did here as a few charged at her, obviously looking for a fight with the fist rather than one with the cards. One committed to a right hook, so when Isabella backed he was already on his way to the ground, falling on his own. She replied to his move with a spinning heel kick, the force of it colliding the poor man's face as he fell towards the direction of the strike. The next went for a jab which with a quick parry was changed in trajectory. Isabella led with her shoulder and got close, hitting him with a knee to the stomach and then grabbing his head to finish with a jumping knee ride to jaw, knocking him out instantly. The third tried to go kick, but Isabella struck the assailant in the leg with a low roundhouse, causing him to lose balance and fall instantly. Onlookers became silent.
"So... we're going to settle this with Vangaado?... Hai hai, let's do that minna."
Her deck was released from her purse and series of fights began.

Tsubasa raced to the cardshop along with Hana and Seifer, they were greeted by a rather unwelcoming group of people, most likely the gang members that Hana was talking about. The men charged at the three attempting at a fist fight, but Tsubasa was able to easily sidestep away from their attacks as he tripped them with his foot, following with kicks and punches to the face or stomach of any of the thugs who approached him, sending them flying to the walls of the worn-out shop.
"..I'm afraid such pathetic moves won't do much against us,....you guys might actually have a chance if we settled things with Vanguard rather than with our fists." he said, taking out his deck.
Most of them took this chance to fight him, allowing Tsubasa to recall the last time he had to fend off so many people with Vanguard within this underground area, nevertheless his deck was ready as several fights ensued.

When Seifer followed along he didn't realize just what he was getting into. And when they were attacked, well, he reacted on instinct. The first person who attacked him was grabbed by the wrist and tossed into a nearby wall, getting knocked out. The other ones that were attacking him just kind of stopped, since the nearest wall was a good fifteen feet away from where Seifer was standing. That and his glare with what seemed to be crimson eyes. Why did he agree to this? He didn't know but pulled out the deck from the red deck case to settle the rest of it with vanguard fights.

"And... BANZAI!." She poked that last faction member's head, causing him to quickly tumble over.
With the three of their efforts, all the members within the store were huddled together now, their heads bowed down in defeat. Those who had insisted on a fight earlier were sitting or leaning on a wall, treating their injured areas. They weren't laughing anymore, they were dead silent now, the sound of the water drops from the damaged pipelines making a much stronger sound than them. They all looked in disbelief as three fighters took them down.
"I-It can't be!" One yelled the cliche line.
Isabella walked along to the shop counter and placed her deck back in her bag, trying to keep her wrists from touching the sides of edges of her purse while her hand was inside. There were slight burns along her wrists due to the electronic bracelets that some of the fights required. It looks like she had to contact her doctors and dermatologists to get this patched up.
Manager-san is going to kill me...
When she reached the counter, Isabella kept the aura of intimidation about her, something that she formerly was unable to do with her small frame. The few inches that she grew over the year at least let people take her more seriously now. It was time to make her announcement, report a mission accomplished and head out.
"The Underground Faction residing within U.M.S Block B, Section II is now back under the control of the Underground King, Hikaru Nagisaki. You are all to report to him as well as the local Umano governing body, turning yourselves in for your violent crimes within this turf war." She pressed a button on her phone and her large men and women in suits entered the room to secure those whom have been defeated and keep them from taking any further resistant actions. "I'll leave this to you guys."
Isabella walked back outside and called for driver to pick them along the outskirts of the town, near the highway leading back to Hoshiko.
Isabella gave her two companions a thumbs up and a smile, finally able to let down her mask of stone and unmoved expression.
"Thanks guys, lets head over to the Shopping District so we can relax. Everything will be my treat."

The shocking gloves were nothing difficult for Tsubasa to handle they could not come into comparison with true pain to the body in his opinion, as he remained unfazed during the fights.
"Heh bet you can't bear the pain, aye tough guy."
said the thug, with a confident attitude.
"Hardly.." replied Tsubasa, instantly with a strong gaze in his eyes. "..Pathetic..LIMIT BREAK!" he yelled, as he sent his opponent's damage zone skyrocketing to the 6th card. One by one they came, and one by one they fell if not faster.
With the situation dealt with and Hana, making her little announcement, Tsubasa took this chance to consider the situation. "Hikaru..there's that name again...now I understand.." he thought, as he made his way out of the shop eyeing his friends making sure that they were not injured.
"Sure thing Hana,...just don't push yourself Ms.Idol, and Seifer, glad to see your flames back again even more powerful than before" he said, noticing the marks on Hana's hand and acknowledging Seifer's strength.
"..I wonder if i'll get to meet this Hikaru person.." he thought.

Most of Seifer's fights were pretty much one sided, with Seifer having regained the ability to use Overlord, as well as the new break ride Overlord. All of his fights were won on the break ride turn, restanding The End multiple times. Most of his opponents after the first were afraid to even put on the gloves but they did so out of peer pressure. At the end of it all he was still standing tall, rubbing his wrists as his eyes shifted from crimson to blue again. Looking over at Tsubasa and Hana get gave a thumbs up, quietly walking over. He really couldn't tell Rosalia about this. She'd most definitely freak out on him but what is done is done.

A new day had begun, but for Tsubasa it was a chance to find answers, with the camping trip happening tomorrow he had to understand fully more about what has been happening in the slums lately, massacres in general were not things he accepted. He wanted to know why these fights have been happening more recently and what the result is, he had to find the man he heard of, Hikaru.
He ventured into the slums heading deeper and deeper trying to find anyone who used the same radiant deck that Hazama showed him that day in the hospital, after a long time of searching he decided that it was time to change his approach. One of the low-lives was eyeing him everytime he passed by his area, so Tsubasa approached him, "..Do you know where I can find Hikaru Nagisaki?" he asked, with a cold look in his eyes.
"Heh, couldn't tell ya, i'm sure he's there or there or you know around hahaha."
said the stranger, as he laughed jokingly.
Without any time to waste Tsubasa immediately grasped the stranger by the neck pulling him from the ground and pinning him on the wall, as the stranger struggled for breath, "..I'll ask again...Where is Hikaru Nagisaki?" he said, the same cold look in his eyes remaining.
The stranger gave Tsubasa no useful info after being pinned to the wall in that matter all he could do was scream for air and plead his ignorance about the matter, so Tsubasa let him go and contiued searching, "..Not really the type of way I want to speak to the people here..but if it's necessary then i'll do it.." he thought.

The day seemed bright and hopeful as Hikaru stared at the customed pendant he had attained. The pendant was a rectangular shaped as the size of a vanguard card and it was pulled together by a chain. Inside the pendant is Hikaru's Avatar or his spirit partner, Death Army Cosmo Lord.
One of his subordinates, Kaori walked into the throne room of the underground. From what he remembers, kaori is heavily invested in music but due to her poor background she ended up in the slums.
"Hikaru-sama. Someone seems to be looking for you. From our scouts he had attacked a member of the populace and is looking for you. The man in question is roughly in his twenties." She informed him.
"Well if he wanted to meet me he should of just asked." Sarcasticly commented. He then got off from his throne and proceeded to head out of the room with Kaori following afterwords.

Tsubasa had lost count of the number of people he questioned, the more he ventured into the slums the more the fist fights and cardfights seemed to be more apparent, so he knew he was on the right track. Overtime he would stop at some points and spectate some of the fights, often giving tips to people, different from the forceful message he was trying to send but if he wanted to be a coach for the cardfight club then he has to improve.
Tsubasa sat down near one of the fight tables that was not being used, watching as life in the Umano continued it's usual path, hearing only the sounds of fists and cards clashing, until everything went silent. From the corners of the area appeared a young man, holding a pendant containing a strong shine, along with his crew. His very entrance made all the Umano fighters freeze and unable and unable to move or say much of anything.
"..Could he be the one i'm looking for..? That shine looks somewhat familiar." he thought.
He got up from his seat and decided to stand a few meters away in front of the young man, as a signal for him to stop as he posed his question, "..I don't know who you are, but you seem to have a strong presence in this place, so I'll ask you as well...where can I find Hikaru Nagisaki?" he asked, his eyes unwavering and cold at the same time.

Hikaru stared coldly at the man who questioned him. Looking at him more closely without wavering with his cold dispute. He recognized the man from the day the seal was shattered and earth and cray had reunited with their old clans and gained new ones.
"Your looking at him, Champion of Liberation." Coldly stated.

His search was finally over, he had finally found the man he'd been looking for who can answer his questions regarding the events happening in the slums. He eased up a bit and began talking.
"..I have not been to the slums for a while now, but when I did come here all I found was fighting and disputes, I want to know just what exactly is happening in this place?" he asked.
Tsubasa never really preferred a forced fight unless the cause was just, like with the invasion that is ahead of them all, but if this is just a senseless struggle for power then it had to stop.

He sighed at the topic at hand. He did not want to repeat on what is happening to the slums at the very moment. Never less for the umpteen time in his life he began to explain the circumstances of the slums.
"It started a year ago, when I left for the circuit I had left a power vacuum since I did not leave anyone in charge. The other factions had decided to attack the Umano sector when I was away and decimated the area. They had frequently ransacked cardshops of its money and cards supplies. And have figured how to weaponize the shock gloves. When I returned and told of the situation. I had regrouped the other members of the Umano sector and led an assault against the other factions, Starting with the Moonlight Tail faction."

"...I get it now.." he thought.
Now that he discovered what this mess in Umano was about, he was unsure how to proceed from this point forward. He originally thought that his fight would be against Hikaru, then again, he could be trying to fool him. For now all he could do was try to understand the situation and if he can help at all, to be able to end conflicts in Umano would be such a blessing.
"..If you don't mind I'd like to be of help...I don't want a massacre to happen again like what happened years ago..if I can help make this place better then I will." he said, clenching his fist.

After class was over at Hazama's university, he finally decided to go and try to have some decent cardfights. Two options came to mind, either Card Capital, or Umano.
Well Card Capital is probably busy due to some schools getting out around this time, so I think I will head over to the slums.
Though that wasn't the only deciding factor. During the past couple of days, he had heard some people talking about gangs that are very dangerous.
He took the streets which finally came to Umano. He could tell he was getting closer by the sight of less active urbanization and the stench that crept up upon you before you got to even enter the place. He walked in with his deck at his side. There were people fighting with cards and fists. And even some looked like they need some upkeeping with their body condition. Ignoring those facts, he still walked deeper into the place, not knowing what could happen next. Though something got a bit strange when he continued depper in the slums. People were not fighting as much and people were becoming quiter. Finally, he saw what was causing these weird actions. There were to people talking in the middle of the mob. One was Baky, though the other one he hasn't met before. Hazama was still able to make out the fact that the other guy was probably the ruler of the slums, or something with power over the territory.
Crap, why are you always in the same place that I appear to be going.
He began to walk up in the crowd so he could get far enough up where hopefully he couldn't be made out, but he could still hear what they were saying. He stood in with the crowd to watch the showdown continue.

"Well he ain't the first to ask, so more the merrier."
He thought
"Alright, you may help around, but first I want to test your strength." Grabbing his deck from his breast pocket he then moved towards a empty motion figure system as his underlings moved out of the way. They don't want to get in the way of the king.
"You ready to fight Hero of Liberation or not?" He stated
