"It's nothing."
More reasons for manager-san to kill her. She was going to have a concert in a weeks time, so this had to go quickly. It was kind of hard to think now, her mind was basically blank, and she probably should've given the couple their time together for the rest of the day, but it seemed important enough to wait this long and all this morning she was so determined to talk about it. Her mind was jumbled up.
"Agh. I think I wanted to ask you to practice with me to prepare against the invaders?..." Somehow that felt embarrassing to ask. Sounds like she was asking for bonding, which she was, and something that had to do with the Cray duties that go hand in hand with reasons why she didn't like Yukino. This actually hurt to say for some reason, probably why she tried to make herself forget.

"Uh... sure, we can practice. Are you sure you're alright?" Yugure questioned, far more concerned about her health.

"I'm okay, but I have a question to ask."
This was really hard to do with such a headache. Feels like the time during the War of Liberation when her power was being rejected by a certain space. It could be connected to the mishap that happened yesterday, but she decided to look more into it later.
"We can defeat the invaders, yes?"

Good question. Yugure, more than anything, dreaded the invaders. A single glance told that if they were going to win, it would be after all hell breaks loose and then does so again thrice more. "... Yes", the woman responded. That didn't mean they
couldn't
win. That simply meant that they would have to go through harsh pains to finally get an opening, as she's been saying. A hand reached over to Hana's head as a form of reassurance.

"Don't worry humanity has been through many dangerous situations before. This is no different." Stepping out of the shadows the king of the underground looked at the trio before him. He clutched the pendent that's around his neck. He wonders whatever he says next is just an attempt to comfort himself. Neverless he continues.
"We'll just have to defy our fate." Coldly stated by the underground king.

Long live the King!
That's what went through Haruka's head when Hikaru made an entrance to the base. Haruka gave him a wave and a nod.
"Right, defy our fate. That sounds like a plan." Haruka was obviously joking to him, but he still believed the words. Defying fate sounded about right.... Wait. Invaders? What are they even talking about?
"So who wants to fill me in on this Invader business cuz I'm still in the dark here guys." Haruka pocketed his hands, leaning against the wall next to the entrance way where Hikaru stood.

The thugs of Umano completely lost their minds and began cheering and welcoming their king back.
"Sir", Yugure addressed her commander properly, saluting him. Then she looked over at Haruka. That's right, she hadn't gotten to tell him.
"Invaders are coming in an attempt to kill us all soon."

"Mmmmmm ohoho." Isabella laughed a little at their reactions.
It wasn't supposed to be taken as a moment of doubt or her being frail, even the Underground King felt kind of serious and scared for a moment there. Something was comical about it, the way that they worried. Isabella had someone to fight for and her reason for doing so is as much of a part of her idol dream as anything. She's fighting for her other half.
A few more har har har escaped from her mouth.
"Thanks for that Yukinee, but I don't need the reassurance. That was me testing you as a knight." She flipped through her phone and quickly added Yukino to her list of names. "Welcome to the Cardfight Club." This somewhat sudden, but makeshift welcome was accompanied with a thumbs up. "I don't think the Yukino from a year back would've said "yes" to something that seemed that impossible, to accomplish." She shrugged for a moment and addressed them. "A lack of confidence and fear is a form of despair, which I'm not taking among my ranks. If they truly warp the heart then that's one of the ways. You've already lost before it's begun. Got it?"
Kill us all?
"I think the invaders should worry about me killing them all first before they even get here." She put her hands on her hips and was had a smile on her face. She was serious despite this.
Anything to keep Miyuki safe.

"Way to be blunt, babe." Haruka stretched out, a sweat bead forming on his forehead. This could be contributed to slight fear of actually dying to some unknown invader, because stranger things have happened, or to the immense heat his body just builds up anyways.
He is a walking radiator.
Also it seems Yukino has been added to the Cardfight Club, despite not actually being part of the school... Not sure how that works, but Haruka is all game if it means he gets to keep her by his side and vice versa.
"Invaders, eh?" Haruka simply pondered the thought, then dismissed it. If there were invaders coming for them, all he needed to know is that they existed. All other information he can just get when he's briefed for such a battle. Nothing to worry about right now in particular. They aren't here yet after all.

Walking over to the trio as he dismissed Yugure's salute with his own as he reacted a bit to her comment on the invaders. Now there was no point in sugar coating the situation he'll agree on that one.
"Kill us you say." A dark glint appeared in his eyes appeared as he thought of the bloodshed he is going to cause when he gets to the invading pests. A smirk formed as the idea settles into his mind. "Not if I have any thing to say about."

There was something that she noticed with the Underground King whenever Yukino was around, something that had been going on for a year now. He would often only ever take notice to her sister and often look down on her as someone who was to be protected nor would be unable to make a difference in the situation. At times she would be ignored overall. She decided to confront the situation directly this time instead of being passive about it and letting it get to her. He was in her list to be someone who be fighting along her side against the coming threat, and as the Princess, she wasn't going to take such disrespect.
"Hikaru Nagisaki, take out your card. We're going to fight." Thus she sent the challenge. "Four games please."

... Yugure wanted to tell Hana she just failed the test if it was one of bravery. Unlike the snow queen from the past, this soldier was a realist. The invaders had already succeeded in horrifying the Chosen Sword. Seeing how the princess spoke with confidence, and wanted her sister knight to be confident in return, the woman simply refrained from saying anything. "S-Sorry..." she responded to Haruka. It was just a habit she picked up: not sugarcoating anything and being forward about information to allies.
Suddenly, Hana challenged Hikaru. Which kind of confused the queen seeing as the princess mentioned practice...
The girl didn't seem all too comfortable about the invitation into the Cardfight Club, when she was the only one terrified.

"Oh, a fight? Sounds good, better make 'em good guys, cause I don't wanna spend a minute longer here than I have to." Haruka shook his head, getting into place to watch the fight. This was going to be a memorable set of fights, because Haruka actually knew both of these fighters to a degree and their playstyle. A princess of Cray and the King of the Underground. What a twist.
Yukino on the other hand became really hesitant. Not about the fights, no. She didn't seem fazed by that really. But when Hana invited her to the club, she seemed puzzled... No, puzzled is more confusion than anything. It was a reluctance to want to join. She seemed totally put off by something else. Maybe the invasion really was getting to her. She knew more about it than anyone else, as far as he knew. Maybe Satoshi knew too? Hana seemed pretty knowledgeable as well, but she had confidence out the wazoo.
"Hey... you alright?" Haruka pulled Yukino aside for a moment as the fights were getting under way. He would spectate for sure, but he had some small things to discuss with his newly reunited beloved.

"I'm... alright."
If she was scared, how would that make Haruka feel? No, no, far better to let everyone have their confidence. It'll help them get through the invasion.

He was prepared to press matters further, but making her talk wouldn't really fix anything right now. The subject seemed touchy enough to require her to keep quiet like this. Haruka sighed lightly, brushing his own hair out of the way.
"Alright, if you say so." Haruka was prepared to put trust into Yukino. After all, if he couldn't trust her, what was the point of that whole scenario back in that dark interrogation room. He had to let it be for now and let things take their course. But he was starting to itch for a fight now after watching Hikaru and Hana...
