"Ah, aaaah!!" Yugure panicked, screaming more. "Ahmes, we have to do something! Medics! Get the research teams! Call Angel Feather! Call mother!
Something
!"
Ahmes was entirely at a lost, for one of the few rare moments of his life. Rosalia gave a startling shriek, his vanguard was completely lost, and he himself couldn't think of an immediate solution. From a soldier's point of view, Seifer was more than likely... dead. However, from a hopeful warrior's point of view, there had to be a way to fix this. Something, anything.
Think!!
He mentally shouted to himself.
"I..."
Dammit, nothing came to mind!
The paladins were at a state of emergency themselves. Their queen had went off the deep end, and then Seifer was stabbed with that end.

Still more muffled screams... What was going on...? He felt light... And there was darkness..
"So... this is what it's like to die huh?..."
he was just floating... stationary in the void. Funny... Maybe this was because he had been reversed?
"Who are you?"
...A voice? Who's... was it?
"Seems... I know you. Just who... ...I see."
The disembodied voice soon became a small, soft blue light. Just what was it? It felt... Warm.
"Who are you? ...Oh... ...I guess, I do know you... You're... Him aren't you..."
It didn't need to be said. They both knew. This was their end and yet, something kept them on the edge between life and death. They met here for some reason. But what was it? ...Seifer's mind began to swim.
"Help me... Please... there are still... Things... People I want to protect."
there was begging toward this light. Most people would just... Laugh it off.
Silence. It felt like he was abandoned and yet.
"You're the same as me... I see... Well, come with me. Let's go together shall we?"
the light moved from where it was to the male's chest before merging with him. There was a rushing feeling, and then...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seifer's body, the one that was in Yukino's arms coughed. There was a bit of blood that still seeped out at the edges of his mouth as he did but... He coughed again. Then started breathing normally. His body felt warm, and as he opened his eyes, he glanced down. He couldn't figure out where he was for a moment, couldn't remember what happened but... He saw it. The crimson on his shirt... and where the blade had gone.. Yet, there was no longer a wound. It had rather become a scar. Looking up, he saw the blurry outline of two people he felt he recognized.
"Rose... Nee-San?..."
his voice was soft, but his eyes themselves had changed... They were a deep crimson.
Rosalia's screams had quieted into her sobs, the female shaking violently while her world of gray consumed her vision. Nothing but blurs, or flashes of light that sparked at the corners of her vision. Was this insanity, as crimson started to fill her vision? Oh she heard a voice while lost in her private, shattering mind. Someone said her name... Luquier?... No, it was a male voice... and she didn't have any male units unless it was a dragon or a lion... Her vision started to clear as she listened for more, trying not to lose the voice. When she could see properly, she still saw crimson, though it was the blood that was coating the floor. The female looked to where the wound was, and yet... nothing was there? Was she losing it to the point that she was dreaming, and Seifer was fine?... If so... she looked to his face, where strangely deep crimson were staring up at her and Yugure...
Another cry escaped her lips, but this one was of surprise, shock, and happiness behind her tears. Yugure still had her arms around him, so the redhead wrapped her's around both Yugure and Seifer. Her shaking didn't stop, nor did her sobs, but she wasn't breaking... her foundation, her pillar, her love somehow had returned.
Seifer was still alive. Good, that was what was hoped for, because otherwise, things would go awry very quickly. Not just for the rebellion, but for the invaders as well.
Satoshi stepped back from them, letting them hug it out. Essentially, he was waiting to be struck next, since he was most obviously the biggest force of Link Joker standing right next to them. Then again, the likelihood of that happening seemed to be dimming by the second.
It was quite the nice scene, though. Perhaps this emotional influx was what Yugure needed to get back in touch with her heart and feelings for all humans, and not just the one that was her lover.
"A-Ah... Oh my god...!" Yugure expressed joy and shock all the same as Rosalia seeing Seifer alive -
feeling
he was alive. Hugging by the redhead, the soldier clutched the brunette in arms while leaning closer to the other girl. Ahmes' heart practically stopped for a moment, lost in complete disbelief before realizing this was very much real. He was so very, very relieved.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" The woman kept apologizing over and over, lost in overflowing tears.
Seifer was now hugged by two people while still sitting there, trying to get a grasp of... Ah... Right. He impaled himself on the Sword of Determination. That was a thing. Yukino started apologizing, and they were both crying. Good job Seifer... Good job.
"You didn't do anything wrong though? ...Not by me anyway, I guess? ...I'm just glad you two are alright."
he was a bit squished at the moment but, he gave them both time to cry it out and the hugs and the whole nine yards before speaking again.
"...I know I just... I guess, came back to life... But we're not done. We're needed somewhere right now."
how did he know? Well, no one really texted him a whole lot anymore unless it was something to do with the reverse. He however would wait for the other two to calm down a bit before he tried moving... Wait, could he even move? ...There was the big toe. Yeah, he could move.
Rosalia clung tightly to both of her companions. She didn't want to ever let go, afraid that if she did, Seifer and maybe even Yugure would disappear from her grasp. But slowly her strength started to ebb away from her limbs. Her sobs quieted to sniffles over a few minutes, then finally the redhead leaned against Yugure in return. Only Rosalia's arms dropped to her sides, the younger female having completely passed out. Too much stress could sum that up, not to mention the Reverse Fighters she fought earlier at their house.
"Didn't do anything wrong?! But I... I...!" Yugure found new reason to hate herself even more now, as if it wasn't for whatever black sorcery just resurrected Seifer, she'd be a murderer based on a mistake. He was just... too kind a human being. Ahmes gave a sigh and returned to his card in the meantime. The soldier herself couldn't even move, too overcome with what could've been and what happened.
"Needed... somewhere...? Ah..." Yugure supported a fainting Rosalia with her shoulder.
Satoshi nodded. "If that's the case, I'll tuck in Rosalia for you so you two can address it." He crossed his arms. "Unless you'd rather I went."
Seifer shut his eyes, thinking for a moment before feeling the weight shift and change. Rose seemed to have fallen asleep. Shifting from where he was he stood up, stretching, making sure his muscles worked before pulling the asleep red head away from Yukino and lifting her up princess style. Well it couldn't be helped. He heard Satoshi's offer but chose to take Rosalia and put her in one of the facility bed rooms, laying her down on the bed, quickly changed his shirt to a less torn and bloody white dress shirt, before walking out and locking the door behind him. Thankfully he had taken the key from inside. In any case the male made his way back into the area he'd left Yukino helping her to her feet.
"Doesn't matter what you think you did. I was the one that did it. End of story."
he was a bit to nice yeah, but he was also aggressive when it came to blame games. His crimson eyes met Satoshi's for a moment before looking at Yukino again.
"I'm fine. So no worries. Let's go... I'll be with you every step of the way for this nee-san."
Yugure simply watched Rosalia get carried away, and Seifer seeming perfectly fine. Not only that, but upon his return, he kept trying to take the blame from her. The woman's mind was just a complete mess... and the energy Satoshi gave off brought her into an even more perplexed state. Gripping at her head, one of her usual migraines were forming. An uncomfortable groan, mostly lost. This brunette was far too nice or stupid, considering in her mind, she had just killed him. How would the soldier even be able to look at the redhead with a straight face...?
"Something's wrong", Alfred stated.
"Hurry along with him, the location you need to reach is in a text", Raging Form Dragon added.
Yugure checked her phone, seeing an SOS from Hana for Hoshiko. Giving a sigh and trying to force the war veteran persona for the time being, she looked at Satoshi to answer: "I want you in my sight, so you're coming with us." Not an ounce of trust was in her tone, but there was still hope of saving her dear friend from these parasitic aliens. The Chosen Sword opened the front door of Headquarters. Taking a card out of the purple deck case and flinging it into the sky, Raging Form Dragon roared loudly as it materialized.
"Get on. We're in a hurry."
When Rosalia woke up, she wasn't sure how much time had passed. Was it the same day? A new one? She didn't know, nor bothered to check her phone. Instead, she stretched, feeling awfully cramped up and sore. Yesterday was rough... She had gotten Venus Luquier, thankfully, but in doing so, she had fought a bunch of Reverse Fighters at once, something she wasn't experienced with. She also remembered the blood... Seifer had died, but was revived just as quickly... After that, the redhead sighed and shook her head. That must of been when she passed out, since she couldn't remember anything else save for falling against Yugure and darkness. But now... Where were they?
The female started to wander the facility, noting that just about no one she knew was actually around... Then she heard terrible crashes, like the town itself had become a war zone. Just what was happening anymore?... Part of her wanted to find out, since that was probably where Seifer and Yugure were... but she also remembered Satoshi's warning about the school.
If I can save Noely... maybe then we'd have a better chance in this war...
With that set in mind, she headed off.
After reaching the facility, Cero entered... There... Wasn't anyone... in the main floor. He stumbled forward to the elevator, barely staying conscious. Taking the elevator up to the floor he had designated for the Rebellion, he came to the scientists... Only to collapse on the floor right in front of them. While Cero was in left in a half-conscious state on the ground, the scientists took action. Cero was loaded onto a stretcher and they began giving him medical attention. The Kaiser had taken absurd amounts of damage in his fights against Reverse, drained his own life force away, and pushed his body to limits that shouldn't have been possible for a simple human.
A tempest raged in Cero's mind. He had failed. Repeatedly. Over and over, he failed. He couldn't unreverse Satoshi, he couldn't defeat Freeze Ray, he wasn't able to open the Gate to call Vermillion back, he hadn't been able to defeat Neu, he hadn't been able to Stride, and he couldn't free Hana from the nightmare. In over a year, Cero's one success had been evolving Vermillion to "THE BLOOD" but even that ended up causing the death of the one card he had named his Avatar. Why was he so weak? What could he do to surpass this weakness? He had been able to overcome the control of Reverse and had turned its power into his own, yet he was still so far behind everyone else that mattered.... How could he become the strongest he so desperately wanted to be!? The presence within him that had shown itself earlier... It roared, desiring to be released on the battlefield. Cero was unaware he had been able to bring it forth, and now that it had been given a taste of life yet again, it desired more.
Hearing its roar, Cero awoke once more during the medical procedures. He knew what had to be done now, he just had to find an opponent that could push him enough to call it out. Standing up, he pushed passed whoever was giving him the limited medical attention they could at the facility, not caring that they hadn't finished fixing him up.
"Schwarzschild Dragon?! Impossible!"
Hana removed her hand from the screen, the scientists are around the room recording their current findings. This image was sent from Cray as an enemy sighting. Though, this was one was strange in particular.
"How is it alive? Ezel destroyed it during the War of Liberation one year ago!" The Princess debated in doing this, but she took her phone and texted Haruka.
"Haruka? Sera? I know you can probably just lie about this as part of the plan or not, but know anything about Schwarzschild Dragon? At the very least, did you guys bring it back? Meet up at CTA, Floor 11, Room 111 if possible. - Hana Isabella Espoir"
Another to Tsubasa:
"Something weird is going on with Scwarzschild. I know Neu lost the card a year ago. Does she have it back with her? - Hana Isabella Espoir"
There were multiple places where this could go, either way the event left The Princess at a loss above all the visions that she's been having. Quite the dilemma.
Hana sent a text to Lance and Neo:
"11th floor, Room 111 Laboratory Room if you guys can come. I need help with something. Onegai! - Hana Isabella Espoir"
"A strange energy signature appeared in Gotem City yesterday."
The screen flashed, showing random numbers and making Hana look smart and stuff.
"Right so... the same as the light portion of the space-time distortion..." The nice numbers turned to a recording of the War of Liberation's end point where The Rift was ejected from Neu's body. "Hmm... so this is Rift energy huh..."
Hana made a guess that combining with her power to a Rift's opening point would enable her to use the Rift as a gate, letting her to travel to where it leads.
