"But I'm in the mood for a fight right now." Hana stood up from the bench. She reached for her deck inside her bag.
It's a cheerful mood. Her friends are around, the thirsty followers of Yukinee are here, and the crowd keeps building. She showed him her deck and she assumed that he would be prepared for a fight as the challenger. Then suddenly, a table. He took a table out of his bag and placed it down. It was an actual fight table. He was way more than prepared.
"We should get Daddy to buy as one." Nociel commented.
"It really is a nice table." Hana nodded, agreeing with the pink haired trash.
"Let's go Hana!" Nociel said, determined and unable to notice that Hana just called her trash internally.
"Lets's stand together, Hope!" Hana exclaimed, turning over her starting Vanguard and taking the first turn.
He said he was looking for strong fighters so Hana hoped that she would pose a good enough challenge against him.
The incarnation of the thunder crashed onto the field, and the sky darkened, causing lighting to strike down on the battlefield. On his side were two more thunder dragons, Thunder Break and Hex Cannon Wyvern. Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion stood before Hana, the Princess. For a brief moment, Hana saw Dragonic Overlord. "Right...a power that rivals his... what an honor to do battle!" She spoke to him like a close friend, a comrade in the battlefield. She saw this as a sparring match of sorts. Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion's limit break was able to wipe away her front row rearguards, but due to Shamsiel's skill, her opponent's front row were rendered useless.
Hana slowly built up her field, eventually ending the game with a near perfect formation. Upon Shamsiel's limit break, the entire field was able to power up, and the stranger was left unable to guard.
After the fight, she placed the deck back into her bag and she looked at the stranger and figured that she should introduce herself.
"My name is Hana Isabella Espoir, these are my friends um.... I think I'd mess it up if I were the one to introduce them... so I'll let them introduce themselves. What is your name Vermillionman?"

Haruka thought the fight was honestly one of the most intense. However, what sparked something in him was not Hana and her battle-hardened determination, but just one climactic moment. The second he saw it, Haruka nearly reached for it and grabbed it, assuming it was what he thought it was.
Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion. The true ace of... Vermillionman's? deck. However Haruka thought it was somebody else entirely at first guess. "Overlord..." Haruka clenched his teeth a little at the unit's appearance.
Now he felt strangely conflicted. He wanted Hana to win, because, well, it's Hana! Haruka's friend. However, he also wanted to see the strength of the new Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion take down it's opponent, just as Haruka did with Dragonic Overlord.
I mean, I didn't win often but when I did...
Haruka watched intently. The battle went to Hana. When the idea of introducing themselves was brought up, Haruka was thoroughly interested and put himself forward.
"I'm Haruka Nakahara. Nice to meet you." Haruka nodded in respect, despite not knowing the person. Even though it was somebody who wielded a clan that was not Kagero, he felt the same kind of power flowing through him. Not an eternal blaze, but an ephemeral lightning. It hit harder and faster than fire, but it didn't last as long. It was a surge. Not an emotion.
However, behind him stood the sword-wielding gaze of Yukino Espoir, definitely looking forward to making Haruka pay dearly for not giving her a simple "Hey, what's up!" over text. He was very, surely, going to pay.

Miyuki sat there, enthralled by the fight. Even though she should have seen a Narukami deck in action before, it felt new to her. Her eyes opened up slightly when 'Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion' was ridden. Staring at the card, she felt an odd sensation, just like what had happened with Farah.
'Odd' she thought. Ignoring it, she looked back at the fight. Vermillion wiped out the front row with his powerful skill, but Hana was able to recover and launch a fresh assault. 'Electrocuted ponies... lovely'. The nurses prevailed in the end, calming the storm brought on by the thunder dragons.
Still, this new fighter was interesting at least. Plus he was so prepared, he even had a table with him o_o. Taking Hana's offer, she introduced herself. 'H-hi, I'm Miyuki Himura. Nice to meet you.' A little standard? Maybe, it should be fine anyway. 'Do you always carry around a table with you? Is it special? Does it have a name?'
Before she could spurt more questions however, she noticed Haruka looking, slightly
down
. Yukino seemed to be glaring at him quite harshly. Moving slightly away from the new person, she went over to Haruka.
'What exactly did you do?' she whispered to him. Putting that aside for now though, she got to the main point.
'So Yukino, you never really told me, how you met these 'footstools'.' Well, at least she tried to divert the conversation away from Haruka's possible crime, plus she was actually curious. Yukino didn't seem to be the type to just casually meet people and befriend them, so she wondered what the story behind it was.

My name is Neo Isamu, Neo replied. Nice to meet you all. Neo was impressed with his cardfight with Hana and that everyone was watching although something seemed off. They all seemed to have interest in Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion. Interest as in they knew something that I didnt. I was going to ask to get the answers. I have a question for you all" Neo asked the group. Do you know something about this card *Raises hand* Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion? You all seemed interested.

Yukino's horror had been confirmed by the fight between this stranger and Hana. Garmore informed her that there was a new major militia force in the Dragon Empire that made up for the lack of Kagero. The blitzkrieg thunder dragons who bore the name "Narukami", this "Vermillion" was practically Overlord's other self with a different element and armor. "Angel Feather" branched off in the United Sanctuary, as the knights and spiritual megacorp of Oracle Think Tank desperately needed an entire
clan
to make up for a lack of medical squads. These times were even worse than the civil war, and those bladed eyes gazed upon those units in sadness.
Seeing Haruka's reaction toward Vermillion... Did he remember Overlord like she did? Or was it just a sealed memory almost resurfacing? The queen hoped for the former with all her heart, she didn't want to be alone in this situation of losing a clan. This must be how Hana felt when Bermuda Triangle left... Bringing a fingernail up to chew on nervously, curiosity drove her mad almost. If he knew, why didn't Satoshi? How does Hana feel about Angel Feather? Why Angel Feather?
Ugh.
"My name is Yukino Espoir", Yugure introduced herself to Neo. Though, Miyuki got her attention, and finally the "footstool" part of what they kept saying was deciphered as Satoshi and Haruka... Why were they- never mind, best not to know. That was her decision.
"I met them after I couldn't make it to Nationals", she responded.

The question brought up by Neo was quite interesting, Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion was quite the unit, front row attacking is a devastating skill after all. Lets go ahead and introduce myself for the third time today then.
"Hello Neo-san, my name is Ighanna R. Colberg, a singer, rapper and also a royalty from London, my status is Archduchess of Winchester and I serve the one and only her majesty Queen Elizabeth II." introduced Ighanna feeling quite bored and repetitive.
"Metatron, do you know anything of this 'Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion'?" Ighanna turned her face around and asked her card meanwhile pretending to cough.
"Ever since the disappearance of Royal Paladin, Kagero, Bermuda Triangle and Shadow Paladin, there have been quite a few new clans being established to support the troubled nations. Narukami, the thunder dragons are finally recovering the Dragon Empire heh, interesting thought letting Vermillion replacing the sealed Kageros. I also heard about several other different clans, Gold Paladin, Aqua Force, even Angel Feathers, these are all newly established clans in order to hold the fort against this turmoil." Metatron informed Ighanna about the new clans, she then had a deep thought about the four missing clans, 'I should really help them right' she thought as her memory conflicts with a thought of Hana-chan winning the Nationals with Bermuda Triangle and Hana stating that she won with Angel Feathers. Metatron then read her mind and disproved her thought saying that Angel Feathers weren't even founded yet around the Nationals. Ighanna wonders if Hana-chan is pretending or does she absolutely have no idea of Bermuda Triangles.
"Sorry I don't really know much about that card, but I have this weird feeling about it, it suits you quite well" replied Ighanna as she pretends to lie . She believes that Neo could also be a communicator provoking the group in order to find more communicators.

Neo replied "Hello Yukino and Ighanna nice to meet you as well". Neo thought to himself that this was a nice group of cardfighters but something still seemed off. "Everyone is looking strange in my opinion" Neo told himself. But he decided to brush it off. Its probably nothing. Oh and to answer your question Miyuki yes I have a portable table to cardfight on because I travel alot. I dont have a home. Im on a mission to find my parents who vanished when I was younger and now im looking for answers. I wont stop intil they are found! That is my goal and reason for cardfighting. And with this Narukami deck, nothing will get in my way.

"Mission"...
Jellal... Where was he, and what did he make of all of this? Yukino hadn't even scratched the surface on how to revive Aqua Force, despite having used everything at her and the United Sanctuary's disposal. How was the queen going to keep her promise to bring them back? She still didn't know, and hearing the word "mission" made her even more anxious. Sure, Neo's mission here wasn't involving the slaughter of his own allies, nor did it involve throwing himself away.
Yet, it still unnerved her.
Chewing more on her fingernail, Yugure was blanking out some. Today was exhausting, and she didn't even do that much. This new barrage of information concerning an altered world was too much for her to take in all at once. Ezel noted that she should try and get some rest, but she didn't want to sleep until she figured something out.
"Nothing will get in your way... huh... Just don't let that turn into anything extreme", the queen stated. Never again would she want to see anyone lose their happiness with Vanguard the way her friend did before.

Neo replied, to be honest right now I dont have any happiness without my parents. But its good to know there are some good people in this world.... Except for a few.. Neo then started to talk outloud to himself without realizing it. Hazama.. Neo started talking, what is your motive? And why do you want nothing but destruction?

Yukino seemed worried, probably the events of months ago getting to her again. Of course, Hana wouldn't blame her if it did. It seems like so many things changed, yet no one noticed. This Neo Ishida, she didn't like how it sounds, at least maybe it was the way he worded it. She at least hoped that he also played Vanguard just for fun. Then she heard him utter something under his breathe, "Hazama..."
Hana remembered him from a few months ago.
"Don't worry, he doesn't fight people unless he is sure to win it. Other than that he is just a coward!" Hana turned around, slapping Hazama in her mind, "Hmph!"

Haruka found Miyuki talking to him for a second.
What did I do?
"I forgot to text her." Haruka said simply, but still terrified.
Haruka noticed the comment Neo made, about his lack of parents. Haruka was sympathetic, wanting to make note of it to Neo, that he understands him. However something else was on his mind. He decided it would wait. No use bringing up a topic that would just make him more anxious tonight. Overlord was gone, remembering somebody else he lost wasn't worth the time or energy.
He turned back to Yukino, and to his surprise, she didn't look nearly as pissed off as before. He raised an eyebrow and approached her. "Uh, Yukino. Anyone home?" He waved his hand in front of her face in consideration to her blanking out. Getting her attention seemed to be a difficult one.
"Is that...? Garmore."
Haruka heard a voice. It was familiar, but not quite the same. "Ehh..?"
"The name's Vortimer. And I smell a wolf, be on your guard."
Haruka simply gaped open his mouth and moved back to Yukino and Satoshi.
Her attention wavered altogether. He rolled his eyes and went up to her, face-to-face and called out, "Yuuuu-kiiiii-nooooo!"

There is something weird... Neo replied. I dont remember having Narukami and these cards... I had... another "clan" but for some reason my memory is really really foggy. Neo then started to look through his cards. "Im sure of it!" Neo screamed. But why.. Why were they switched?.. And why did Vermillion come to me of all fighters? -Sigh- Just more questions and less answers as always..

Yukino giggled at Hana's badmouthing after Haruka broke the trance she was in, actually having heard her talk about this coward of a fighter all that time ago. The big sister offered to pet the little one, as a way of physically bonding since they haven't in awhile. Almost feeling like Hana was a detached limb - there was a severe case of little sister deficiency for the queen.
Yugure looked back toward Haruka, and she knows Garmore heard that extra voice.
"You wanna come say something to my face, Vortimer?!" The wolf-armor clad warrior angrily roared. He's too old for some punk like a dragon whelp to warn someone of his presence. He was harmless!

It felt nice to be pet by her older sister. Hana felt her hands, strong, onee-san hands. Good.
She remembered that she still needs to buy dog food.
"Oh no I need to buy dog food!"
She kind of wants people to take with her so she just blurted out whoever came to her mind,
"VermillionMan, Mi-hime come with me please!"
