A familiar cute voice entered Satoshi's ears, just as he was about to comment about Neu Edelweiss.
"...Hana?" This came as a bit of a surprise. He had thought the youngest Espoir was away for a while, fed up with Cray and the whole ordeal of her sister's crippling depression. Strange for her to be back.
"It
is
you. Hi!" He gave a little wave. "You doin' alright? Seph told me about what happened."

"Oh, me? Eh... Well, I've been better. But as of recently things have been looking up. Er... Until your sister got pushed into some portal by Neu. Haven't seen her last night. Oh, did you hear about that?"
Haruka was looking around nervously. He didn't know if Hana was particularly interested in the details or even wanted to hear about the suicide attempt.
Thing is, Haruka is oblivious to the fact that Hana already knows about last night.

That was weird that Seph knew, especially since the issue stayed between Hana and Angel Feather, and as their relationship stands, its not likely that Angel Feather told anyone that she actually quite save from the fact that she was just in need of a vacation. Right, that's all the council was actually told, she was just taking a break. She was going to unseal the clans with the victors of the War of Liberation after all.
"Em... how does Seph know?... That's strange considering how it was just something between me and Angel Feather..." She looked confused for a moment but decided to just not let it bother her, "Ahhh nevermind, nevermind."
"As for my sister, I already know. She was home today yeah." Hana didn't want to actually think about Neu nor did she want to think about her sister at the current moment so she just tried to get over the topic as quickly as possible. Its been awhile since she's had much of an actual Vanguard so she was in quite the mood. At least, to get her mind off of things and get her back into the mood for work.

"It was mostly the taking a break part, not anything too special---"
Wait, did he hear that right?
"Yukino's back from the Rift?!" This was good news! Well, sort of. It also explained how Satoshi saw Neu today, unless she now had the ability to be in two places at once. Scary thought.

"Oh, I see?" Haruka stood there, staring at Hana for a moment. She seemed completely different. Her naivete she once had, that bubbly disposition seems to have, well not completely vanished. But diminished, at the very least. He even turned to Satoshi and gave him a look asking if he had an idea.
"At least Yukino is safe..." He breathed a huge sigh of relief. He reached for the sky as he stretched up, then back down to reach his toes. This was kind of his little, "woo, things are getting better!" type of reaction. Stretching.
Could be worse. When he was younger, to get fired up, he did squats. He still does sometimes.
Looking back at Hana, he refrains from asking. Instead, he opts for a different greeting. One that most fighters know, because it's the standard greeting every fighter gives one another. Even the simple-minded, to the most complex of leaders and people.
"So Hana, wanna Cardfight? It's been awhile since I've gotten one in." The super-duper cheesy smile arose. Haruka wasn't determined to make a stance or to prove anything.
This was the first time in awhile, that he genuinely wanted a fight to relax.
Relax.
Who fight's to relax? Haruka it seems.

A fight to relax sounded nice. Hana wanted to find the fun in Vanguard that she had lost and has not been having. Maybe this was a chance to find that. Of course, there was Angel Feather, who was now here as her support. It was time for Hana's first show to begin, at least the first in a long long while. She hasn't acted at all like herself in and now it may be time get it back. She looked at Nociel and nodded, bringing her eyes back to Yukinee's bf whom is now to be here opponent.
"Break a leg BELLA-chan!" Nociel cheered.
At the very least, the weak and cowering Hana of the past was gone. It's time for BELLA to take the stage.

Satoshi smiled. "I'll play next, if neither of you mind." He didn't really have plans to show off, but he wanted to see the extent he could go together with Sephirot this time. His game with Noah honestly seemed a bit...lacking.

The fight had gone in a rather strange twist and turn of events.
Haruka missed the ride chain from stage one. While he thought the fight had already been against him, he was proved wrong by the complete imbalance of luck. Haruka had been spitting out triggers like it was nobody's business. He actually felt a bit of pain in his sudden dumb luck. It was the same case for against Miyuki. His ability to Cardfight was actually rather poor, but checking critical triggers seemed to be easier than actually riding each turn.
Not only that, but Hana's luck seemed to be on the opposite side of the spectrum. All four perfect guards landed into the damage zone before the fight ended, and next to no triggers appeared for her. Despite Shamsiel's defenses and the miracle heal that flew into the damage, Haruka managed the double trigger check, Draw into Critical for a two pass on Duke. No limit break this time around.
"Heh.. That was fun Hana. And er, go ahead Satoshi." He patted him on the back with a sly simper, pushing him towards the fight table.
"Give 'em hell, BELLA-chaaan!"
You sound dumb saying that.
Haruka pouted a little at Sera's words.

Give 'em hell Hana did.
Satoshi had never played against Angel Feathers before, and the fact that Hana was able to gain power from taking damage really through off his ways of breaking through her defenses. Even so, the game was a clash of two titans. Shamsiel versus Sephirot, Limit Break after Limit Break. The farmboy even got his devilish luck to provide him a sixth damage heal. But even with that save, he wasn't able to break through, and his rough draws finally caught up with him. A close fight ends in his defeat.
Even so, it was fun, and it was with a close friend. That was super important to him. "Great stuff, Hana," he said, winking and giving her a thumbs up.
Maybe, with her enjoying the game again, things would get better for the four of them. The Triad and the Vanguard of Cray, together again.

The first game was where Hana's show had a malfunction. Rocket Dash Unicorn was backstage, and then flew off... far. far. to the bottom of the deck. Along with Rocket Dash Unicorn were the rest of the triggers. 14 of them. In the deck. When the game ended. Dandy. She was just about ready to send half of them to the emergency room.
Next game, she was still ready to send them into the Emergency Room. She was against Satoshi whom she had never fought before yet every time she fought him, she felt de ja vu, like there was some weird time-space thing going on where it feels like they've played before. In the main dimension, Hana was able to break Satoshi's one pass twice using Sunny Smile Angel, the happy happy heal. Naisu Faito.
All in all she was glad to be using Angel Feathers and glad to be back on the idol mode. The only hard part was that there was no crowd, but that was the point of the goal anyways, to get a crowd.

On his way to where he was staying after spending an entire day sampling cuisine, Cero took a detour through the park. As he was passing by, he noticed the group of Yukino's friends, and her sister. Hana looked... Different from last time he saw her. Perhaps she'd be an actual challenge this time.
Walking over, he pointed his finger, and shouted his usual challenge, "I, Cero Kirguis, Europe's King of Vanguard, challenge you, Hana Espoir, to a cardfight!"

Angel Feathers took the stage once more, but nope. They didn't do well at all. Maybe it really is time to send them to the emergency room. Cero checked a Critical every turn and Hana did not check that many triggers at all, it was pretty lame.
She had a sigh of relief, she'd just gotten back to Vanguard after all.
The second game was less of a miracle and more straightforward. The Angel Feathers made up for it and did their best, yay them!
The final game was great and all but Cero checked at least one critical every turn leaving Hana with no choice but to win by breaking through a two pass, which she did. Yay her.

The fight went extremely well for Cero, getting Criticals constantly against his opponent, and was able to keep a fairly decent field for most of the game. However, neither of these things were true. Although she was able to get a sixth damage heal trigger, so was Cero, making what little luck she had rather meaningless. During the second fight, Hana won. Yay her. Last fight, Cero continued spamming crits but lost because Hana got a double trigger.

Neo had spent almost the entire day looking through his deck at the park bench. With the future evolution of Vermillion in his mind after Neu told it to him, Neo was thinking.
"When will this evolution come to me?" Neo said
In the meantime Neo was relaxing on the park bench waiting for something to happen as always.

Tsubasa had just finished his daily errands and was now on his way home, until he started to remember what Fei said to to him the other day.
"Just what was he trying to tell me..." he thought, as he took out his deck and began staring at ezel.
"..Ezel....what kind of vanguard do I strive for.." he thought.
Tsubasa continued his walk for what seemed to be an hour or so, but instead he found himself standing near the entrance of the park.
"...Why do I keep ending up here..?" he thought. "...Wait is that Neo?..I wonder if he's had better luck finding new strength than me."
"Hey Neo!" he said, as he entered the park and headed towards Neo.
