(GS3) Field: Rijuku Park

Rosalia glanced up and around when she heard her name. It was male in tone, but it wasn't Neo, Tsubasa, or Seifer, the three males of which she has had the most interaction with while in Rijuku. But it still sounded familiar... Eventually she found the male laying down, rather than walking over to her like she was expecting. "H-huh?.. Oh! Sky! Sorry, I haven't seen you since the dry cleaners... No way, you were at the park during my uh... fight against Noel, I think..." The redhead gathered her bag, making her way to Sky and sat down a few feet from him, sitting on her knees since, well, she was wearing a skirt. "So what brings you to the park today?..."

"I was at the park, I said so before but that was an awesome fight!" Sky said while sitting up. "I had a tough day at my new job so I'd though I'd come here and relax for a while, I had some really good times living in this park." Sky said staring at the distance remembering his days as a hobo.

Rosalia felt her face warm up from the compliment about the fight, given the fact she lost in the end and the fight was the result of a misunderstanding. She scratched her cheek with one hand, the other holding her school bag on her lap. "The fight was alright. I couldn't win though.. Noel is a pretty good fighter, but I haven't had much experience playing other people..." She tapped her chin at this point, following Sky's gaze around the park. The park itself was nice, and though she didn't get off on the right foot with Sky (she still remembers him yelling at Seifer from the dry cleaners), she was relaxed, and thought that perhaps he deserved a second chance. "A new job? Where do you work at?"

"I am now a janitor at Hoshiko High. I'm so happy the pay is amazing! Minimum wage truly is an amazing thing!" Sky said with a full grin on his face.

Rosalia glanced at Sky with a slightly confused look, scratching her cheek again but for a different reason. Well, I guess he's been through worse than I have, so I don't really get it... She started messing with her schoolbag as a nervous habit, or more so an awkward one. "Hoshiko High?.. I just had my first day of classes today there... Small world, but I couldn't find any of my friends in class, so I'm kinda wondering what the rest of the year will be like," she admitted. "I was never good at making friends where I used to live. It was a surprise I wasn't home schooled the entire time..."

Sky looked at Rose she seemed like a perfectly nice person so he couldn't see why she had trouble making friends. "One thing I always do to make friends is call people my friends, if you mean it in your heart chances are they'll except it.... or get violent..... very... very violent. Or you could try joining a club."

Rosalia lowered her gaze, staring at her bag with a thoughtful expression. Despite not knowing Sky very well, if at all, he was nice, and did have a good point.. A club?.. Maybe.. I wonder if there's a Cardfight club.. Seifer might know.. She also thought of what would have happened if she was nice from the start to Noel, instead of pushing the fight because she thought the other girl was stalking her housemate... "That sounds like a good idea, tho-ough I'm worried about them getting violent," Rosalia answered with an embarrassed laugh. "I'll try the club idea though. There's gotta be lots of clubs at Hoshiko High.... Well, that's enough about my situation. Is there something you wanna talk about? I know we didn't really talk much since the dry cleaners fight..."

"Actually there is something, but it's not talking." Sky said pulling out his blue deck case and grinning. "Have you gotten any stronger since that fight with Seifer's sister?"

"E-eh?? I-i mean.. I've fought my friend Neo before.. and I won that one.. It was really, really close, like suuuuuper close." she explained, pulling out her deckbox. It was purple, but otherwise had no markings. She was going to get around to decorating it later, maybe a silver design of some sort. "Well, I have nothing else to do right now. Ready to fight?"

"I always am!"

The fight itself reminded Rosalia of both her fight against Neo, and the fight between Sky and Seifer just a few days ago. Triggers everywhere, and restanding columns for days, and not just on her side with the Circus Bounce. It wasn't a style that she was used to facing, and yet with a draw and a crit at the end, wearing down Sky's hand to the last straw, she managed to claim victory. The redhead gathered her cards with a smile, looking down at her avatar Luquier, then to her opponent. "Th-hanks again for the fight, Sky~ That was a lot of fun! A-and I hope you're right in that my deck.. that my deck can go as far as you think." She put her deck away, but was feeling the same happy warmth from yesterday's fight against Neo. Even if she had lost, the fight still was fun... and it wasn't against Seifer. She was coming out of her shell after all, though Rosalia still thought of her housemate, and wondered what he was doing with school out for the day. I won again, Seifer.. Am I doing well?..

As the school day ended, and Seifer agreed to the Cardfight Club idea, he made his way to the park, the top button of his school shirt unbuttoned. His bag was slung over his right shoulder and he was just walking, his eyes shut and his left hand in his pocket.

And as if her thoughts materialized right before her eyes, Rosalia caught sight of a familiar brunette in the corner of her vision. She waved quickly to Sky and slung her bag's shoulder strap over her arm, smiling to her new companion. "Thanks again! Maybe we can fight again next time~" she said brightly before running.

The redhead didn't slow down until she had caught up to her housemate, except maybe to sneak up and hug him from behind. "Heh~ Guess who, Sliffer!~" Rosalia giggled, grinning ear to ear as she teased him with the nickname Hana had given him the day before.

Sitting in the park with his leg crossed over the other, Satoshi spent most of the day waiting. It wasn't really that he was bored---
 
...Well, it was. School was in session for most of the high school aged people he knew, so it was rather difficult to do much of anything. Both Card Capital and Shop Handsome were ghost towns during the day. It was a wonder when he saw someone there, and when he did, it was usually some dude in his thirties playing a modelling game like Warslammer 50k. Game looked interesting, since building the models by hand required good attention to detail, which Satoshi had learned to have from working on crops, but he was informed the expense of such a hobby and backed off immediately.

He noticed Seifer walking. School must be out now. He gave a casual little wave. The two hadn't really spoken directly since the clash in New York, but they had stood next to each other on stage to accept their awards for the War of Liberation.

Unfortunately, there was a good chance that the wave was ignored, because that girl that seemed to hang out with Seifer every time he saw him around showed up and snuggled him from behind.

Seifer chuckled, at both the way the female was acting and the fact that she'd used the nickname that Hana had given him. "Let's see... I wonder who it could be... Hmmmmmm. I think you're... Rosalia." he teased back, acting like he didn't know at first, and looking over his shoulder at her smiling. "Hey there. Was school ok today?" he asked, not moving at all considering she still had her arms wrapped around his torso. Out of the corner of his eye though he saw someone wave at him, recognizing that it was Satoshi from a year ago. The Neo Nectar Champion right? He waved back, since it would be kind of rude not to, that and he hadn't seen him since the War of Liberation anyway.
