"Pale Moon..."
It was a pretty common clan at the card shop, honestly. People liked the strategy and synergy of the new Silver Thorn Circus, putting on quite the performance on Cray. The clan was a bit of a challenge for his own deck to play against, but Satoshi had grown pretty accustomed to playing against it.
"It's a nice deck t'play. Helps teach the value of payin' attention to your cards and what they do. Definitely sounds like a clan that suits you, darlin'." He nodded and winked at Rosalia. Whether these two were together or not, Satoshi couldn't help but put on a little more of his country twang for her. She was definitely too cute to not at least playfully tease, just a tad.
"Really, you just have to give the game some time and it'll all just click. You'll get better in no time." He stared at the back of his deck box, realizing that he was being a bit of a hypocrite. He hadn't actually played in quite a while, and it wasn't going to look all that great if he wasn't in decent shape with Genesis.
His ears twitched at the mention of a Cardfight Club. Good for the high schoolers. Maybe they'd take some trips to the card shops or host tournaments that the locale could enter.

With all of that out of the way though, Seifer poked Rosalia in the arm again.
"I just thought of something. You wanna go for some ice cream? I'd promised you some before we got here, just never made good on that promise. It's also still kind of hot outside so."
he mentioned, looking up at the sky for a minute, slinging his bag back over his shoulder.

Ice cream...ice cream actually sounded pretty good right now. Satoshi made a quick gesture to Seifer at the mention of it.
"Hey, lemme get you guys ice cream. My treat. I know it's kind of sudden, but..." He scratched the back of his head. "Well...I haven't really gotten the chance to spend time with people in a while, so..."

Rosalia wasn't sure how flattering the wink was, so the embarrassment only seemed to grow. If it wasn't for her knee-length curly red hair, her face would seem that much redder. Thankfully Seifer came to her rescue at the mention of ice cream. Anything sweet, and she was hooked, turning to her housemate with a hopeful smile.
"Really?? Yay let's go get ice cream~ Think it'll be busy? We should get there quickly,"
she said, words rushing out more so because she was instantly excited again. Of course she did glance at Satoshi, tilting her head at him.
"You wanna treat us?.. That's really nice of you. I know you and I just sorta met, but I guess if you're friends with Seifer, you can't be all bad. Maybe we can be friends to, and fight sometime~"

Ah, Satoshi offered to buy the ice cream? It was tempting but...
"I appreciate it honestly, but next time maybe. I'll probably have to help this one with her homework. First day back to school and they're already giving us homework. It's kind of a chore really."
he sighed scratching the back of his neck.
"If it weren't for that, I'd be completely open to it. But I don't want you to tag along just to get ignored when we get enveloped with home work. I'll get a rain check on it though. You got a phone right?"
he asked, reaching into his bag and pulling out a note pad paper, writing his number down on it and holding it out to Satoshi.
"Just contact me whenever you feel like it. If I don't answer, I'm probably busy with something."
he laughed sheepishly scratching the back of his neck. It was more apologetic to turning down Satoshi's offer than it was anything else, but it was true. And he was offering a rain check to hang out sometime.

"S'fine. I'll give you a call sometime." Satoshi accepted the number graciously. He then raised a finger for a moment to do something in return. He reached into his wallet, pulled out a few bills and handed them to Seifer.
"Even if I can't be there, I insist. Enjoy yourselves and take care, y'hear?" He gave both of them pats on the shoulder. Hugs at that point would've been a bit awkward, although when he had gotten near Rosalia, she smelled...familiar. Like the grasses of the fields back home. It made him feel a bit warm inside.
He gave a casual wave as he walked off, coat blowing in a slight breeze.
What Satoshi didn't realize was that the money he considered so little was actually about 100,000 yen. The advertising gig in America made him loaded, even if he needed so little, and the size of the bills he carried, even with his minimalistic approach to life, were enormous. He knew that Seifer would probably flip out, but they deserved to splurge a bit more if at all possible.

Rosalia smiled slightly at the pat on the shoulder, just glad it wasn't a hug. The only person she hugged was Seifer; anyone else... she didn't know them enough yet. But Satoshi seemed nice, and even paid what looked like a bit "extra" bills for the ice cream.
"That's a bit... more than we need, huh?..."
the female asked, but was curious nonetheless as Satoshi walked off.
Huh... I guess he's a friend now too? Seems like it to me.
It was only when Satoshi was out of sight that Rosalia realized she didn't give him her own number.
"Oh maaaan... I only gave my number to Neo, but he never messaged me so I don't really have his number... You're still the only number I have so far..."
the redhead sighed to her housemate, but adjusted her schoolbag.
"Well, let's get going then. Ice cream awaits~"

Seifer stared at the bill kind of absentmindedly. Was this a showing off thing or something? Or what? Oh well. Putting the bill away he nodded to Rosalia, walking with her to the nearest ice cream place, chatting with her along the way.
"It'll be ok if you don't have everyone's number ya know."

It was the start of a new day and Neo started it as he always does with a Morning workout. After doing your basic pushups, sit-ups, squats and jumping jacks back at home, Neo went for a run in the park with his music playing. He decided to not bring his bag but did bring his deck just in case, he always wanted to be prepared.
While on his run, Neo was thinking back to the events of the past few days and as he usually always does, started talking to himself without giving a care in the world.
"All of the events that have taken place since I've returned seem to have all connected. Kurai is a totally different person, Rosalia I had to explain the missing clans too and the start of the cardfight club at school. For some reason I know they all connect in some way, but I dont think I should be too worried. Amon and Hazama on the other way do worry me however and I know that im going to have to Cardfight them both at some point." Neo said
Neo then finished his workout. So after running for a few miles and drinking most of his water, Neo relaxed on his usual bench which brought him back to some memories.
"Ah the good times" Neo said
Neo just sat down and relaxed and watched the sun start to rise all the way, signaling the start of a new day.

Alexander did his usual morning jog on a new route today, going ar a slower pace to admire the scenery of the park. It was mostly quiet aside from nature and a few other people, happy about the peace he was able to enjoy. During said morning routine he'd spot a somewhat familiar face sitting on a bench. He blinked trying to remember them as a swift "Aha!" Could be hard, walking up to the young man as he did a tiny wave.
"Say, I saw you in the gym for Hanas' cardfight club right?" He'd ask curiously.

"Thats right" Neo said.
"I dont think we got to properly meet. My name is Neo Isamu. Nice to meet you!" Neo said to the person while offering a handshake.

"Ah nice to meet you I'm Alexander Reis" Replying cheerfully even jn his sweat state, extending his arm to shake the other boys hand only for his phone to go off. A sense of panic overtook him as he scrambled to answer it, flipping it open as he said in an anxious tone.
"Ah.. H-Hey mom what's up? Phew, I mean.... Oh come home? Hah yeah I'm on my way. Right right A S A P, got it." Closing the phone before shoving it I to his pocket, an apologetic look to him as he spoke. "Damn, sorry Neo I gotta run. It's good to meet you though." Sprinting off right after speaking, jeez, his mom must be a tough customer.

Neo was shocked to see Alexander leave so soon. But seeing the way Alexander answered his phone, he could tell he was in a rush. Neo was happy to meet yet another fellow fighter. He knew he would see Alexander around more often because he was planning to join Hana's Cardfight Club. Neo watched Alex run off and decided to go back to his house to freshen up.

Here again.
Haruka actually, believe it or not, woke up here. He never went home the night before due to some circumstances involving the earlier headache he was inflicted with at the slums. A very light form of paralysis took over him upon reaching the park and he had to sit down as the aches and pains started coursing throughout. All he could do was sit and stare up at the sky, which he didn't particularly dislike or anything, especially when nobody was watching him or judging him.
He remembered Hana could use the stars to see him at that moment the night before and was actually afraid she had been watching him for a while now. But then he simply altogether stopped caring about it and just fell asleep on his favorite park bench, staring at the stars. Haruka had grown to be adept at falling asleep sitting up. Spending enough time in the classroom teaches you those kinds of things.
But he thought about a lot of things. He remembered lots of memories. He spent several hours in his thoughts just scavenging the things he had lost over the year and some months, trying to remember why everything was the way it was. As if maybe some good ol' deductive reasoning would explain why he's feeling the negative emotions he was. At this point he was looking for any excuse to not feel like absolute trash, to stop this endless cycle of self-loathing, anger, confusion, and finally some twisted bargaining effort to make it seem like what he was doing was actually "okay." But in reality none of what he was doing was okay.
At least, not anymore. Maybe if Yukino never came back, what he was doing now would be okay on his side. That still means Hana would be going against what she stood for with Miyuki, but at least things would be alright for
him
... Yeah, everything would've been alright.
You'd do anything to save your own skin wouldn't you.
"Shut up, Sera. Aren't you supposed to be protecting me? Where have you been-"
Listen here, Haruka. I told you that you did not know what you were getting into. Now do you see? Your so-called beloved has returned and your making away with some other woman who is also taken. And you only feel bad because you cannot get yourself out of it, do you even care about their emotions?
"What is that supposed to mean?"
Do you even care about how Yukino will react when this all unfolds? What about Miyuki? Do you think she'll even want to be your friend? How about her relationship with Hana? What if it simply crumbles to dust? It would be your fault for responding to Hana's emotions. You could have walked away.
Haruka was gritting his teeth. The stars brilliant glow became a dull blur in the way of his half-closed eyes. This isn't what he wanted to hear right now...
But Sera was right. He was so right and Haruka was so wrong and right now the only thing he could do was save his own skin, which he himself was too afraid to do as well. What good was Haruka anymore? What if Yukino didn't need him anymore? What if she was putting on a front to make him feel better... What if Hana was just toying with him? What if nobody needed him anymore.
What if...
And he was awake. The sun was up in the sky a decent amount, but it was still clearly morning, indicated by the lack of bustling around the area. It was only a few kids running around with toy planes and Vanguard cards.
"Good morning to you too, world...." Haruka rubbed his eyes, fatigued, annoyed, and alone.
"Great start to my weekend." Haruka dusted off his pants, checking his phone. Nothing from Shiki about last night. He was kind of hoping to meet up with him here or somewhere eventually, but he had no idea if Shiki would show. Maybe giving a location would help.
"park sound good? -haru"
Haruka actually grabbed a cup of coffee from StarGATEBucks before sending that, and headed back to the park about ten minutes later. Reseated at the bench with a cup of joe in hand, he waited.
Sip.
Sip.
