As the last card was checked and Darren's loss was confirmed, he was hit with the realization of the day. He had seen what the Dimensional Robos could do against a National Champion and now when he used his deck, he couldn't even bring about his Avatar, nor any grade 3s in general. He had been defeated, but that wasn't what bothered him. The power that her units displayed was more than he could withstand, and that was what truly bothered him.
He smiled brightly, he wasn't sad or hurt at all. Especially not towards her.
"You're really good,"
he said to her. "The only other person I've faced is Noel, and you're just as strong as she is." He then let out a sigh and said,
"There's... something I need to do. Do you know where a place to buy cards would be?"

Noel then put her phone down and just waited for a reply, not getting one would be fine too though since he might be busy. She then looks up at Khudus who practically offers a challenge to fight him but Noel knew he wasn't at full strength.
"I rather beat you when you are at full strength. I won't gain anything if I end up beating you if you aren't at full strength. As for being able to break your streak, I think I would be able to if the opportunity arrives when you are at full power."
Noel said, her pride as a fighter and as a Kusanagi doesn't want to fight against a formidable opponent knowing he is handicapped. Weakness is a sin is what father would say. And nothing would satisfy a Kusanagi than defeating someone who is strong.
"Also, thanks for the Salome you gave me back at the shop. It may be only one copy but its one copy back to how my deck once was."

Just as strong as Noel?... Last time, I couldn't win... maybe... maybe I could fight here again... But I have no idea what her new cards are like...
Rosalia was brought out of her thoughts swarming her mind when asked about cards. Actually, she wasn't sure where Seifer had gotten the booster packs that had her own new cards.. but there had to be a place in town somewhere, right?
"W-well.. not off the top of my head, bu-ut there's gotta be something in town, right? I'm sure there is... Wanna go looking together? T-two sets of eyes are better than one?.."

Yugure was caught off guard by Haruka suddenly leaping from his seat and charging at her. Proper response was unknown until the embrace. Instinctively, the woman returned it by tightly squeezing the man in arms. Any more force and her nails would dig into his skin, emphasizing how attached she just became. Never mind people staring at the two, never mind the romantic setting of a warm hug under the moonlight... The entire world could be an empty, black void and she'd still be the happiest girl on both planets at this moment. A smile formed, a bit of a saddened, but happy one. Far too long has it been since grasping one another in such a manner.
Every last moment they had, she yearned for the power to stop time.
"Hey you... why are you crying...?"
A light chuckle was given, holding him closer.

Darren smiled at the offer. She was right, it would be easier for two people to search than him by himself. He gave a nod and said, "Yeah, I would like that. If I went alone I might get lost. I just..." He looked down, letting out a small sigh.
"Before I came here, I had a deck that was like this but different. I still have it now, but its missing something to tie it more to me. I think I might be able to find what I'm looking for. If not, I will just master that deck as it is."
Darren gave a small laugh and said,
"Enough of my sob stories. Let's get going!"
There was excitement in his tone, showing he was happy to have a compainion.

Khudus grinned and leaned back looking up at the sky. The fieriness he had briefly before had vanished and he was his normal self.
To be honest I'm not sure what my full power is. But trust me on this. When we fight I won't care about my streak of wins or that you are my friend and rival. We will fight as fighters and enjoy he fight like we always did when we were younger.
He looked back down at her.
It might only be one for now but I reckon she find you again. Just like today.
He got up and moved away from the table a bit.
It's getting late. Theres few things I wanna ask but save it for another time. Guess I catch you around the school maybe.
With that he headed off to the hotel.

Rosalia only nodded in response, knowing what it was like when missing a deck that was important to you. Well, not personally, but she knew Seifer was feeling something like that before...
"Alrighty~ This way~"
She started to walk off, but quick back tracked to grab both her school bag and her violin case.
Seifer would kill me if I forgot my bag and violin somewhere...

Darren smiled and followed behind her. He hoped that if they found some sort of cardshop or a shopping area then maybe he could find something.
"I'll let you lead,"
he said to her, following her as he assumed she knew at least a little more than he did.

Haruka became a near vice-grip. After a few deep breaths, he starts to loosen up a bit, still refusing to let go of her all the way. He kind of just rests his head on her shoulder like before, trying to catch his breath.
"I kind of cried all over you, sorry about that."
Sniffle.
"I just missed you a lot, I mean, I still do and it sucks its been so long. I just wish if you were going to suddenly poof away that you'd have been back sooner or something."
Sniffle. Sniffle.
"I'm just glad... so glad you're home." He leans back enough to see Yukino. His face is kind of soaked and his eyes are a bit red, but he didn't want to miss another second when he could be seeing Yukino right now. It'd been a year and they had both changed a bit, but he could see past the differences and the Yukino he remembers from a bit ago was still there. She was still present, and that made his heart jump for joy.
"W-Welcome home... Yu-ki-no." He offered her a small and a nod, as consolation for his crappy waterfalls a moment ago.

"No one does honestly. You think you are at full power and then a whole new level of power you haven't touched yet opens up. Humans will never stop growing since there is always something new to learn. Yeah but I wish I can get them all back. These units are really rare to find, much like actual jewels. I barely managed to find those I bought at the shop."
Noel then put the Salome card into her deck and made the necessary space to fit her in. One down, three more to go of Salome at least. Something is better than nothing.
She then saw Rosalia and Darren walking down the path and noticed it was the path to Card Capital.
"Hey Khudus, I'm gonna go with them over there to see if I can tag along. You can join if you like, if not then we can hang out later."
Noel got up and then called out Darren and Rosalia.
Hey!!! What's up!!! Can I join you guys??
Her phone then vibrated with a reply from Seifer.

"I understand, being busy is totally cool. Besides, you have a girlfriend,
. I'm not stupid, I was able to tell right away that you and Rosalia had something going on, lol. But anyway, those dreams. They are just weird. I don't see anything, but I hear voices. Don't fall to temptation or Join Us and stuff like that. It's getting annoying because I can't sleep well and it happens almost every night!"[/b]

'You know I'd be quick to deny it if it wasn't true as of last night. Baka. In any case, it reminds me of the dream I had when I first got here, though just a bit different. It was dark and filled with the fear of being alone. I wonder if it's somehow connected? Maybe it's just recurring nightmares? I'll ask some of my friends what they think if you want.'

"Don't worry about it... I'm sorry to have left for so long... and without notice", Yugure spoke softly. Her wet shoulder only made her happy - evidence that he hadn't desired to leave her behind. Offering an apology, her hands stopped gripping at him. However, arms were still wrapped around. White gloves were removed, and one of her arms reluctantly receded to her sides to stash them away. Then, gently, bare hands reached his face, and thumbs wiped away some tears, as if opening a gateway. Bringing Haruka closer by his cheeks, lips met his once more for the first time since last year.
"So long..." She moaned, holding the embrace.

This was... this was new.
Haruka had spent so long without her and her embrace and her lips and had been with Hana for the small time that she was back even...
It was different. Hana's touch was delicate and sweet, like a soft candy almost. But Yukino's was different. She was forceful, almost, but passionate. A lot more of everything Haruka had been missing the past year came rushing back at light speed to him. The kiss only took him by surprise a little, causing a sort of gasp to come out as she got a hold of his lips, but he quickly sunk into her as well as responding with his own emotions.
The night was warm, contrary to the past few evenings of the fall. Everyday had been getting colder, by today it would have felt like winter had the trend continued. But instead a warm wind blew over the park, causing the grass and the leaves to rustle, but only a feeling of attachment came to Haruka's heart.
Every guilty emotion he felt wanted to pour out of him at once like a flood without even the smallest blockade. He wanted to fess up everything he'd done. But this wouldn't be fair to Yukino. She thinks she finally has her beloved back after such a long time, and she finally gets to put her lips on him after so long. Confessing what he had done after that?
Haruka was so twisted and conflicted a few more tears streamed down his face mid-kiss.
He pulled away slightly, then altogether after another few moments, trying to keep his composure. Everything was out of place and while he was so happy to see her and his heart was beating like crazy, he was still holding in so many emotions and had done so many wrong things.
There are just certain people in life you should never get involved with, Haruka thought. He believed in that phrase more than ever. It's hard not to, after all, when you're one of them.
Taking a hold of her hands in his own, he started to speak.
"How's it been, sweetheart? Since you've been back, I mean. W-We haven't really gotten to talk since the slums and I wasn't feeling so great then..." He wasn't feeling top notch right now either. He was ten seconds ago. But it took just the thought of Hana's existence to send him down and up this spiral of feelings over and over again without even a single stop.

Yugure found her mind melting, feeling as if the golden heat from past reared its head to claim her once more. This hot, skyrocketing temperature was always longed for. Since a year ago, since two months back a year ago, the soldier found herself rather obsessed with kissing Haruka. He tried to pull away, but she practically bit him, pressing herself forward onto the boy. Almost like a hound, the woman would sap the love out of him, sucking on his bottom lip for a few moments before she let him finally break away. Within her chest was a throbbing heart trying to break out. It reflected on how much she wanted to throw herself onto him.
Despite trying to keep her composure after they pulled away, a trail of saliva hung from the right side of her mouth.
Eyes a bit glazed over, it took a moment to get focus of Haruka for eye contact as he took her hands.
"I-I missed you..." she spouted. "It's... been okay..." Deep breaths. "Are you feel any better? Is something bothering you...?"
Jesus Christ, get a hold of yourself, woman!
"Tell me what it is... Tell me what it is and I will kill it."
That isn't even close to getting a hold of herself.
