Darren smiled at the battle. He lost but he had fun and it wasn't an easy fight either way you look at it. The double critical was his bane but that was Vanguard, fun because it was so unpredictable. He walked back to where Noel and Seifer was, noticing he changed.
"Switched from the dragon, Sleifer? Well you match your sis this way."
He gave a small sigh as he placed his hand on his chest, thinking about the Dimensional Robos more. This deck felt right and the Great Daiyusha helped him a lot, but as far as these units went, he still felt like he could do a little better, but there were no other Dimensional Robos even in existance. Not that it took away from the fun of the game, so it didn't matter.

"The outfit was a bit stuffy and hard to move around in with the tail and wings."
he admitted. He liked the outfit but it just made running around harder.
"Gotta admit though man, this looks really good on me."
he gave a grin before waving to Neu.
"Hey there, been a while. Little over a year yeah?"
he replied, sticking the end of the Mordred cosplay sword into the ground and putting his hands on the bottom of the hilt.
"And yeah Darren, like I said, I just kinda couldn't move around in the Dragonic Overlord costume."

Satoshi stepped into the Regional Hall to see what all the commotion was about. Apparently some kind of culture festival was going on? Wearing his long white coat once more, he didn't really fit in with the rest of the people there, but nevertheless the point of a festival was to have a good time, and it didn't really matter how you looked to have a good time in the first place.
As he walked around though, his left hand felt as though it was burning a little. The marks were probably rubbing against his coat. Although, it was a rhythmic pulsing kind of burn...strange.
He noticed a few people from the Cardfight Club in costume. "Seems like they went pretty all out..." he muttered, trying to stop the pulsing in his marked hand.

Haruka approached the group suddenly congregating in the midst of the cafe. Haruka stood next to him in his Blaster Dark uniform, assuming the same position. If people didn't know any better, they really could pass for the units from Shadow Paladins if they wanted to. 10/10 on them for looking the part.
"Hey guys, sorry for showing a bit late. Had to make sure the place stayed clean and all. People don't pick up trash or anything so..."
Haruka had been on cleaning duty.
"Look nice Seifer. We match man. Make sure you call me when you Break Ride, I got this." Haruka made a Vanguard funny, but people probably were just going to laugh at him, not the joke. But he liked it anyways. The aesthetic worked.
"By the way, thanks again to everyone coming out and making it a success. I appreciate it." He gave a grin, nodding, then resumed the dark glint and slight scowl. Gotta make that costume work it.

It seemed the café was closing. The previous cardfights had gotten him rather excited, so Cero decided to end his day with a cardfight. Standing up, he turned to the group hosting this booth, and pointed, shouting, "I, Cero Kirguis, Europe's King of Vanguard will honour one of you with a cardfight!" It didn't matter to him who really accepted his challenge, though he was curious to see the abilities of the woman in the Ashlei costume in particular. Cero pulled out a deck, different from his usual one, in preparation for whoever accepted his challenge.

Seifer glanced over at Haruka who stood beside him in the same manner he was standing. Good show, they really looked like the Revengers they were cosplaying.
"Ten out of ten yeah? It's funny. Looks right on us."
he laughed before glancing over at his sister. Actually this grouping of Paladin cosplays felt... Familiar. Like he'd done this before. Was it just his imagination? Oh well. In any case the loud mouth laughing man from before had challenged someone... anyone it seemed... to a cardfight. Seifer himself wasn't interested, and he had been creeping on Noel kind of but... Oh well.

"The concert will be starting in 15 minutes." An announcement rang across the hall.
It was just a notice, not that the attendees had to do much of anything, but stand there an do their thing since the stage would be visible from anywhere in the hall.
Isabella wore a half black and half white Reit costume. She was looking like MonoPuma from Rangan Donpa, but she thought it looked really nice. Pig tails are great.

He knew he was late for the cultural festival. There were a few things he had to take care of involving the underground and it took longer then he expected. Traffic was even worse when he left for the regional hall. When he arrived he hastily parked the Oblivion at the car park and quickly went to the back room to pick out a costume.
Hikaru had picked out the Original Saver, Zero costume. Minus the tight shirt, it seemed to be accurate. Even the sword comes with the costume. He had to admit he looked good with this and he's loving the silky cape. Fit for a king.
He went to the cafe section of the regional to find the others and he sees a man he never met challenging one of them to a cardfight.

Noel suddenly started to yawn. She didn't realize how late it got. Order after order after order made time fly by so fast. The after hour cardfights gave the night a nice little finish since they were exciting to watch. Haruka and Seifer matched so well that they actually look like the real deal. All what was left was for someone to cosplay as Dorint and the "free" break ride combo into Blaster Dark in front or behind of a Dorint would of been reenacted in cosplay form. Days like these are priceless. Being together with friends, working together and finally sharing some relaxing moments after a good day of work is what makes the "normal" life worth living in. No way would this type of thing would ever happened if she were to stay home or be sent to a high end school that only cared about strict studying.
The Ashlei cosplayer had a warm smile with a small tear going down her face since.
No matter how many times I think about it or say it to myself, I wish this can last forever...
Her dreams were more vivid then ever lately which scared her and felt that this peace and scene of all her friends together having fun could be at risk. Noel has no clue why but it's a strange feeling that she can't shake off. For now, she just wants to focus on what is happening in front of her, and that is a peaceful time right now. That was when Noel started thinking about all her cardfights with everyone thus far and realized something, she has yet to cardfight Hana and Tsubasa. Seeing as Hana is the National Champion, Noel wants to save her for last so she pulls out her phone and sends Tsubasa a text.
"I realized we never had that cardfight. We were probably busy lately but I don't want that as an excuse anymore, let's have a cardfight tomorrow. I am curious as to what is your clan and how strong I am compared to you."
Strength. Deep down, that was still Noel's ambition. A hunger for power that she inherited from her father. When used correctly, the desire for strength can benefit those you care about but when used for self pleasure, that is when you get people like Noel's father. A ruthless and merciless person who only cares about themselves, thinks weakness is a sin, and will step on those who are weaker. That is something Noel doesn't want to become no matter what.
As the night comes to a close, Noel says good bye to everyone and goes back to her hotel room so she can have a good rest for the next day ahead of her. That was, however, until the guy who laughed at Seifer came up out of nowhere and challenge anyone from the Cardfight Club into a cardfight. This was her chance to find out why he was staring at her.
"Seems like I will then, I noticed you staring at me during the day so I want to know why."
She pulled out her deck, ready to cardfight.

Haruka greeted Hikaru as well. The Underground King must be having a field day in costume at a Vanguard Cafe.
"Hikaru, what's up man! Glad to have you here. A little late, sure, but it's good to have you." Haruka maintained his position as Blaster Dark Revenger, but something felt weird to him.
Right. Something felt right. He never really used Shadow Paladin before, aside from that one fight, but he seemed to have found himself with a small connection to them, just like the one he had established to Overlord. Luckily he couldn't hear them. Raging Form would probably just scream a lot since he lost his mind. Not too fun.
Haruka slightly twisted the sword on the ground, as if to open a rift and allow a unit to be sent to Hades. It was a subtle, but he was amused by it nonetheless.
"Hmm? Oh, a challenge?" Haruka contemplated accepting it himself, but he'd have to borrow Seifer's deck again for the whole bit. And to be honest, he wasn't exactly ready to fight Cero at the moment. That'd be a lot of yelling and Haruka had already been dealing with a noisy cafe since earlier in the morning. Plus, a concert was happening soon, and there was no way he intended to miss that. He already was hype for that.
Just kidding, Noel accepted that fight. Haruka turned to Seifer to compliment his getup once more.
"Man you look way too realistic. Even the eyes are..." Haruka's smile turned to a dull, vacant expression. Now he REALLY looked like Blaster Dark. The thing with costume production of this scale is contacts are a no-no, since it isn't a choreographed event or anything and doesn't allow trained professionals or anything, so you can't use lenses from a company. And as far as Haruka knew, Seifer didn't wear contacts.
"Seifer... you okay, man?" Haruka grabbed his shoulder, turning him away from everybody and spoke to him.
"Your. Uhm. Eyes."

The brunette tilted his head at Haruka for a moment. What did he mean about his eyes?
"What about them?"
he whispered, back, turning with the other male. Actually now he was a little freaked out. Was there something in his eyes? Did he pop a blood vessel? Was there some kind of infection? Actually the more he thought about that now, he started freaking out a little more. Well, crap. Now he's afraid of having to go to the hospital. He doesn't like hospitals.

Darren had heard that a concert was going to start soon. He also realized that it was getting late so the cafe wouldn't be opened long. He went back and changed into normal clothes, keeping the Kaizard suit in a place he could find it later. He honestly hadn't seen it before. He came back, standing next to Seifer as he saw Noel was fighting. Noel told him she had completed her deck to how it use to be but he never got to see it in action since that day before they both arrived to this town. He was eager to see it in action after all that time.

Haruka saw worry coat Seifer's face. Okay, Haruka, be a bit more clear this time.
"Your irises, they're red." Haruka clicked his tongue, raising his eyebrow and checking around to see who was watching. What was going on? Haruka had no idea. In fact he honestly was completely lost to what had happened. Maybe a chroma disorder of the iris?
Haruka pinched the bridge of his nose in distress.
"Okay, okay, it looks weird but you can play it off. There's a mirror in the back if you wanna look, but I'm pretty sure you can get away with it. Say they're lenses you brought from home maybe? I don't know. Just try to keep people from freaking out or something." Haruka turned back to watch the fight and await the concert. He was very excited to see Hana perform again. Last time was a private performance at her penthouse and that was an awkward time for him. At the time it was totally amazing but thinking about it now, yeah, awkward. Times Square came to mind too, when she did a couple of numbers.
That didn't take away from the energy between Cero and Noel's fight. Equally as entertaining.

Cero was confused what she meant by staring at him, and put off the question for now, saying, "I'll tell you if you manage to defeat me." The deck Cero was using was a bit of a blast from the past, it was a Liberator deck focused on Garmore, doges included as a throwback to his deck from over a year ago. However, this cardfight did not go well for him. His opponent, who he didn't know the name of, was actually talented with Jewel Knights, being able to manipulate the field to her full advantage, allowing her to maximize the pressure her Vanguard carried.
"King of All Beasts, Shine your brilliant soul upon the battlefield once again and inspire the world to reach new heights!"
This was the chant that accompanied the arrival of his old friend, and embodied Cero's current beliefs in strength. Perhaps this would bring people with more potential to the training area, since it was being said in a public place.
Cero's field was empty besides Cheer-up trumpeter for several turns, but as soon as he reached Limit Break, he exploded with Garmore in combo with Cheer-Up to create a full field... That had one booster. The topdeck calls were all Grade 3s, except for a Dorgal and a Bruno, which were the last 2. Although Cero was able to open up his field with Garmore, it wasn't enough to break through his opponent's defenses. Cero, having seen only 3 triggers throughout the whole game, was left to defend a breakride turn with a hand of Grade 3s and 5000 shields. Lacking anything close to a usable defense, Cero was defeated that turn after barely blocking a three-critical Salome.
Holding true to his word, he said simply, "I was curious about your abilities as a cardfighter," after taking the sixth damage. He turned and began to walk away, shouting back, "If you want to see my true power, come to the Cardfight Training Area. Depending on how you hold up there, I may help you become even stronger than you are now." And with that, Cero left the regional hall behind, his curiosity satisfied.

Tsubasa patted Neu on the head for the impressive fight that she had, as he turned to see Seifer and Haruka conversating, he was getting excited for the concert that Hana was preparing but until then, he wanted to see what was happening. As he got closer and began to overhear them before he arrived face to face with them, he noticed Seifer's eyes had changed..they were a shade of crimson now..
"...That aura gave me...Brennius..and I remember Seifer had a crimson aura about him last night...could it be?" he thought.
"..What happened to your eyes man?" he asked, directing his question to Seifer.
