'Really? That's greattt.' She was glad that Hana had been advancing towards her goal of being an idol. She personally hadn't been making much progress, but as long as Hana was getting somewhere it was fine. 'Don't leave me too far behind' she smiled jokingly. 'Otherwise I'll have a lot to catch up to'.
Recently at least, she hadn't quite had the time to manage to do things like auditions though. With her parents being busy and increasingly requiring her help for small things, a lot of her free time had vanished. Although that might come to an end soon, so it wasn't all bad. She skipped over the Yukino section, it seemed things hadn't gotten fully better. Thought it would be nice for them to get along fully again.
Driving those thoughts from her mind, she looked at Hana. 'Seriously though, all the best with this manager, and let me know if they have any free spaces or something~'. If she did somehow get put into a position like that, she could stop helping her parents for a bit. That was her reasoning at least.

Obviously Mi-hime would be interested. For some reason Hana had some thought in the back of her mind that she wouldn't be, which is just silly. She looked took Mi-hime's hand from across the table and nodded. "I'm sure there's a spot for you, you're really talented. I'll never leave you behind, I've been thinking of you the whole time and how I could help you too actually." With all the things that Mi-hime has been busy with, this is, regarding her family affairs, Hana had been trying to formulate a plan to help her out of that and get more focus into the idol dream that she too wished to achieve. The food arrived in due time. The servers slowly filled the table with their order. Steak, mac n' cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, and such. There was most likely enough to take home here, but Hana put her hands together, "Thanks for the food." She picked up her fork and looked at Mi-hime.
"Don't worry, Espoir family connections can really help you too, I've trying to see what to do in that regard, but of course you do want to audition and stuff right?"

'Of course I'd want to audition, and don't feel like you have to bend too many things for me.'
With that said, she started to eat, as the food was sitting right there. Her stomach was slightly off due to timezone issues, but the food at least tasted good. There was a lot of food though, more then they would be able to eat. 'That's not a major problem though' she thought. She continued to eat, pausing to exchange words with Hana. The meal out was definetly different to what she had been doing the past few days, and it was good to just talk to Hana.

"No, I'm not really changing anything, I actually want you to be there." Hana said to her confidently.
She wanted to keep going, but she supposed that it was best to save the rest until after they finished eating. Despite the front of confidence that she put up, her heart was actually racing. "Wait Mi-hime doesn't know does she?... She might not feel the same way..." The thoughts kept running around in her head, spinning around like circles. The right moment would come soon, for now this was alright. Hana continued to eat, keeping the conversation between them going. The night was peaceful, and while the moon wasn't particularly full, the city lights were more than enough to convey the beauty of the town that was outside the restaurant. They also brightened up Mi-hime's brilliant complexion which Hana just kept thinking about. "She would really make a great idol..." She kept falling in and out of a trance, eventually snapping out of it to add to her prior statement.
"Plus, we can preform together of course. Probably the best part!"

'Yes, performing with you would be very nice!'
It was a very peaceful time, which seemed almost surreal for some reason. Hana did seem to be acting slightly odd though, her thoughts on something else. Worried, Miyuki asked 'Are you ok? Are you tired from today, did something happen?' She held her hand, checking to see if she was alright. After all they hadn't been in New York for awhile, and it was getting late. Perhaps something had happened.

It seems that Hana was about done eating as well when Mi-him held onto her hand. The strange feeling, was it really love? If so then there was no reason for Hana to just let it out and tell her, surely she would understand. Uncertainty made it hard, Hana could read expressions, but could not read minds. In this case, her ability to read them made things worse, giving her head more things to circle around, to get lost in. The excitement itself was there, Hana wanted to tell her how she felt, and since she just asked...
Hana's face turned a little red, and she felt it with her free hand. Her head felt like it was spinning, yet, she felt better than ever. The feeling that she got when she was with Mi-hime was entirely different from what she felt when with others. Without a doubt, it must be it. There was no turning back at this point, it was getting late, and this was the right time that she had been waiting for. So with her heart beating fast, she closed her eyes for a little and meditated.
She then opened them and looked at Mi-hime straight in the eye and kept holding her hand, "Mi-hime, you give me a really weird feeling when I'm with you and I think that its because I actually like you in that way. I-I.. guess this is a confession of my feelings for you... I don't know what to really say... um. I love you... I guess?" She scratched the back of her head and time somehow felt like it slowed down, the seconds and minutes felt like an eternity as she waited for Mi-hime's response.

Miyuki froze for a second, her thoughts went blank. Then her thoughts thawed out, and burst around her head. 'Wait what? Hana likes me like that?' She had not been prepared for that at all, but she tried to conceal her shock. For a second, she wasn't sure what to do. How should she answer?
She decided to speak the truth, to not hide things. Miyuki thought of Hana, and how she felt about her. Was it that type of love? She wasn't sure, she had no experience with something like that. She had felt a bit flustered a few times when Hana was very close to her, but other than that she wasn't sure. With no actual idea what love was, it was hard to find an answer.
Trying to gather her thoughts, she looked into Hana's eyes. The eyes of the person who had changed her life, and shaped who she was now. Her best friend, but was that all? She took a deep sigh, and took the plunge, feeling her heart beat frantically.
'O-oh, I see, I didn't realise that~' She strove to keep her voice bright and upbeat, and continued on. 'I-i have no experience with love, but I... welll.' She struggled to find words, in the end just giving up and going for a simple answer.
'I love you as well Hana.' Her heart felt like it was going to burst, for some reason. She wasn't quite sure why, but it was definetly odd. 'I think' she added softly, trying to show that she wasn't fully sure either. 'I don't fully know, but yes, I love you as well.' Despite her efforts, her words slipped around, clumsily, and she could feel her cheeks burning red. She tried to collect her composure, but failed. This was new to her, and she didn't know how to react. All she could do was hope that she had expressed herself properly.

In an instant, Hana felt as if she was now falling. "She does too?" She thought to herself again and again, trying to let the fact sink in. At the same time, something else within here also sank and that was a nostalgic feeling of how she used to be so naive, with so many things unknown to her and so many bad assumptions made simply out of pure blind trust or out of not knowing enough. For awhile that was also something she forgot, that kind of innocence which was both her weakness and strength. She's been trying to calculate everything lately, keeping her mouth shut when she knew that she was wrong, trying to make her image out to be who she really wasn't. She saw how she used to be in Mi-hime now and she she no intention on letting Mi-hime become like her, becoming dull and angry all the time. It was unbecoming of an idol after all anyways, and maybe even though Mi-hime keeps on saying that she's behind, she probably has a lot that can teach Hana.
"Til recently I didn't know what the feeling was either, but I know that you definitely are special to me and that you have a lot you can probably teach to me." Hana stood up and bowed to Mi-hime, "I-I really don't know how this works either, I just saw this in movies. I would like to ask you to go out with me... and we can have fun adventures and stuff together..."

Alexander had wandered throughout the city a great deal, a look of confusion and total loss resting strongly on his brow. His eyes scanned the area, taking in it's sights before shaking his head in annoyance. "
I swear, I thought I had it right this time.
" Speaking out loud as his eyes scanned the busy bright streets, the noises and rude remarks that flung around the area creating a good deal of annoyance to the young man. "
Man, can a park be so hard to find?
" His mumbling audibly in Japanese, considering his mediocre skills in English it was wise for him to avoid cursing in it.
He sighed, taking in a deep breath to calm himself down, eyeing the expanse one more time as he caught something with his eye. A starbucks, the young man remembering good things about the store chain from his last time visiting his father in Canada. Only something like a good cup of coffee could make him feel right again, taking this momentous occasion as a blessing, rushing over to the store as he ordered himself a peppermint mocha. The obnoxious christmasy drink given to him in a haste as he payed in fresh american bills, making a mental note to thank his mother for giving him some changed currency before journeying.
The young man proceeded to head outside, resting at a table outside of the coffee shop, taking a seat as he placed his coffee on the table. His deck case soon followed, spreading his cards out, looking intensely at them as he fervently sipped his drink. He seemed to be contemplating his deck build, the likes of Azure dragon, and the other beast deities seen in the mix. Things like yamatano drake and golden anglet. Personally, he had hoped someone would come to challenge him to a game by doing this, feeling a tad bit timid. This shyness coming from both his exhaustion coupled with his sense of uneasiness of being lost within the walls of the gigantic metropolis.

After a few hours of rest from the flight Tsubasa decides to leave the hotel room to check out the Times Square In New York City. His main objective is not only sight-seeing but also a chance to see what this place is like, since he does not often get the chance to travel.
"...The atmosphere here is more loud than the atmosphere back in Rijuku or even the shopping district." he thought, as he continued walking through the streets of Times Square.
He comes to a stop near a coffee shop, Tsubasa is not a huge fan of coffee in general but in these situations he may need to get one if he wants to keep going before returning to his hotel. However, as he enters the shop he sees one customer minding his own business at his table....with Vanguard cards spreaded in front of him.
"....Vanguard in NY...looks like I need to introduce myself." he thought.
After purchasing his drink, he makes his way to the table of the fighter he just saw and asks, "Would you mind if I take a seat?" as he takes out his deck in front of the stranger.

'Okay, sure! I-i'll go out with you.' She blushed again when she said that, but was glad in some sense that this was also new to Hana. Miyuki stood up as well, and took her hand again. She looked Hana in the eye, but was unsure what to do. How to act, what to say, she didn't know what she should do.
'I love you Hana' she said, repeating it to herself. As if reminding herself that, she nodded her head, and smiled. 'I don't think I can teach you much, but sure, let's have fun together.'

She was happy, Hana was actually nothing but happy. Its been awhile since she's felt this way, so glad that she just smiled without thinking. Mi-hime was now her girlfriend, and her thoughts straight from the heart were answered. It was a feeling that she's been yearning for, to have someone by her side, to never be alone. The lights flickered from outside the town, the night sky glistened among the lights of the sky scrapers. The restaurant operated as usual, and people were about their business. Time's Square was full of thousands upon thousands of passer-byes, car horns blared, and the rest of the world continued about their business. In this moment, time stopped for Hana, as she looked upon the one whom she has feelings for with a promise to make her happy, to explore the unknown world together and to create a bright future, hand in hand.
Hana stepped up to her and kissed her, and put her arms around her, not letting go. It was weird how she always thought that it was gross when Yukino did this, but Hana just assumed it was because it was Yukino and anything she does is gross. She enjoyed the time, the warmth of the moment. As the world kept shifting, forcing things to change, for once, Hana was able to stand still, in the moment and hold on to the world in the palm of her hands for what felt like an eternity.
"I love you Mi-hime." She said again and again, trying to make sure it wasn't all a dream, "yes, we will surely go together!"

It was a dream like time. Hana moved up to her and kissed her, as if in slow motion. This suprised her, but she held still. Strange feelings swirled around inside her, and she wasn't sure how to react. She could feel herself getting flustered again, feel her face turning red, but it wasn't a bad feeling. Hana's warmth comforted her, made her feel at ease.
Miyuki stayed like this for what felt like ages. Despite herself, a few tears fell out of her eyes, and her body started shaking. All the feelings that she'd been agonising over, the worry with Hana, had been washed away in that instant. For the first time in a while, she truly had nothing to be bothered about. She couldn't explain this in words however, and just stayed there, wishing this time would go on forever.

Alexander concentrated on his cards amidst the rather peaceful area that was the Starbucks, a peaceful refuge amongst the boisterous city. Of course, by normal standards the coffee shop itself was also noisy, but being able to sit down and phase into your own little world always helped. His thoughts flew to his recent fights, and how he could possibly upgrade his deck, the teen reaching a blank and sighing in defeat.
"I guess I just gotta keep at as is, then."
Resigning himself to the current situation, if he couldn't do too much with his deck he might as well focus on his own skills. Luckily the opportunity itself might have just come knocking.
Turning his head to the voice, Tusbasas' words registered after a solid five seconds. Blinking blankly for a moment before rushing out an answer "Ah, yeah, of course." The words spoken in an accented English, specks of a French accent still in his words. His eyes flew to the cardfighters deck, and a small joyful smirk formed on his face, his features brightening up compared to their previous state.
"So, a cardfight right? Best out of three?"
Asking, still not having told the stranger his name yet, likely he would remember to after.

A day in Times Square? Sure, why not. Haruka had heard about the area, but never really learned all too much about it. It was a lot noisier, crowded and above all, bright, than the rest of the areas in New York he had visited.
Not to mention his bright color choices and obnoxious scarf in the dog days of summer sort of stood out. But he was cool nonetheless. Literally. His body temperature was rather low, and he felt the breezes from all over, but not all that much heat. His scarf kept him toasty enough, but he didn't feel the intense heat he normally did everyday.
Upon arriving in the coffee shop he had heard about, he ran up to the front and asked for one cup. To which he was asked a size in random words he never heard. Turns out they weren't even English. He just said "the biggest size," and the biggest size was what he got. A 24 ounce cup of coffee was given to him, and with that the caffeine wire began.
Sitting down at a nearby table, he noticed Cardfighters across the cafe, but he wasn't about to waltz up in there and chat to people he didn't personally know, let alone demand a fight or anything. Instead he pulled out his phone. Of his very few contacts, he decided he would text Hana. He obtained her number through a strange conversation between him and Butler-san about the doge. Apparently Haruka was supposed to help the Butler clean the dog, except if anything went wrong, it was Haruka's responsibility to call her. Nothing went wrong really. Except the one scratch...
"heyyy hana. its harooka, sup? -haru"
Satisfied, he hit send. Then got bored really quickly realizing she might not even respond to the unknown number and then ended up texting Yukino also, because they left on a rather deep note the evening before and he preferred if things stayed mostly casual between them when it wasn't such a serious atmosphere.
"hey yuki, where are you? im at the one 'star coffee place thing.' by the way, the coffee here is amazingggg -haru"
