Arrestor is nice, 11k means it can hit even if you lock the booster and then you have a rearguard lock and another target for the g4 Messiahs. But it is the on-call turn only, and unless I'm wrong, un-locking doesn't classify as a call; and I'm pretty sure that's right, as some cards (like this) would be stronger. Probably gonna get a spot in Messiah decks, but space is kinda tight.

Arrestor Messiah is the perfect example of good design this game needs.

Mind you, while lock itself isn't a good design, this card in itself is still creative that supports something magical. What it supports is a Messiah.dek actually focused on Amnesty/Excelics, and making the player feel more like Ibuki instead of relying wholly on Big Crunch for better Amnesty turns. While doing so, it still proves to be an amazing card without Amnesty/Excelics, due to the existence of the Lady Battlers. Locked units unlock as Stand, resulting in this being a restanding rearguard with White Dwarf combos. It's effectively Arousal Messiah (a variant or evolution of the actual card, lore probably tells), but locks on its own.

Swing with this first, use a White Dwarf, you've got another swing with this. Though it loses the +2k, you still got a free lock out of it. It sets up two locks for Amnesty/Excelics by itself, sets up an extra lock to pseudo-Triangle with Big Crunch (which is great when you don't have Rearguards for Alter Ego's heart beat), and sets itself up to be unlocked at the end of the turn for Alter Ego's GB2.

Such amazing synergy and creativity for a deck that most certainly wanted it. Along with supporting a new kind of G Zone is even better.

All locked cards are turned face up at the beginning of the owner's end phase, this being called "Unlock" (解呪アンロック Anrokku). When a locked card is unlocked, it turns face up in [Stand] state, and any effect gained that it had before it was locked disappears.
