(GS3) Field: Hospital

Tsubasa noticed Neu struggling to move her body upon his question, so he pulls a chair next to her bed, sits down and places his hand upon hers. He wanted to comfort her and let her relax as much as possible, just so she can recover more quickly.

"...Try not to strain yourself Neu.." he said. "I'm glad that your parents are helping-"

Before Tsubasa can say another word, a knock was heard at the door, and the door swung slightly open. It was Seifer he had come back to check on the trio.

"Hey, Seifer glad you could come today." he said, turning around to see Seifer.

All of the sudden and in the blink of an eye, Tsubasa had leaned in close to her, perhaps too close for comfort. He could feel his breath from this distance and her face was just turning red. Usually, she would probably pull away by now, or in other cases, she was the one making the move. Well she can't move. Neu saw something else in Tsubasa that she didn't see in other people, other fighters for a fact. It was something that she saw in their fight a few days ago and for some reason she's been unable to shake off the thought from her near infinite memory space. She would be struggling if she could, she could feel him holding her hand. She tried to remain calm but her face was burning up now more than it was before.

"Gahhhh! I can't relax if you do this you idiot! Don't hold me like that, oh god you're too close!!" She shut her eyes really tightly, trying to calm herself down, "Ah.... Right... right... Uh, thanks though..."

Next thing she knew, Seifer had entered. She was hoping that he didn't hear her shameful yelling.

"Hi.. uh, Seifer... How are you?"

"Uh..." Seifer stared at the pair awkwardly, having heard maybe the end of it at worst. "I'm... I'm ok? I guess? Seriously, I can come back some other time if I'm bothering you guys. I just have something to get off my chest, and I guess Tsubasa being here will make things easier in the end." he hesitated for a moment before slightly shutting the door. "It's no big deal. Don't worry about it. I'll leave you two alone."

The way Neu reacted towards Tsubasa surprised him but he was not against this side of her, nevertheless what intrigued him the most were Seifer's actions. He seemed hesitant since yesterday, as if he had something on his mind, but was not sure when or how to talk about it.

"...You're not bothering us Seifer...is there something you wanted to say?" he asked, rising from his seat and letting Neu's hand go.

At Tsubasa's mention he sighed, holding the door for a moment before walking in shutting it behind him and staring at the floor, eyes half shut. He remained quiet for several long moments before breathing out slowly. "I guess this is harder than I thought it would be... ...When I first came along on that train, I didn't have any friends at all. I didn't know how to make friends and my dad... After getting divorced found it really hard to let me go do much of anything without him either around or with someone to watch out for me. He's afraid he'd lose his only kid but..." Seifer shook his head. "I begged dad to let me go out on my own for a while and he caved in, and through that I met Neo, and all of you. ...After the incident with the sealed clans and you two came back, I got a text from my dad telling me he wanted me home as soon as possible. And he was going to take Vanguard away from me. I might end up being stuck there along again. And I don't want that. I just... Didn't know how to bring it up. You guys are really my only friends in this world, and I'm grateful to everything all of you have done for me..." quietly the male bit his lip for a moment before rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry, maybe I shouldn't of said anything?..."

Everything was white and barely being able to see, Neo slowly woke up realizing he was in a hosiptal bed. He looked around and noticed no one was in the room he was in. Just trying to open his eyes fully and trying to sit up, Neo couldnt. So he layed back down staring at the ceiling intil someone came in.

Seifer's backstory truly caught Tsubasa off-guard he expected something difficult considering his recent hesitation, but nothing like this. It was clear that Seifer was feeling uneasy about losing both his friends and Vanguard, so in such situations it was difficult to counter what his parents wanted for him.

"...I see...and if we really are your friends you should not be afraid to tell us these things.." he said, still thinking about the right way to say his opinion and hopefully help his friend.

"...The way I see it you have no choice but to go to your father, but we managed to save the world thanks to Vanguard, talk to your father a bit and hopefully he'll understand." he said, such advice was difficult for Tsubasa to give since he had no parents ever since he was 9 years old.

"..Besides we'll be able to stay in touch right?" he asked.

Seifer scratched the back of his head and neck sighing and walking toward the pair nodding. He was still worried. "Yeah you're right. I'll definately try. ...You all have my number except for Neu, and you'll be able to give that to her when she's able to have a phone again." walking beside the pair, he put his hands in his vest's pockets, his eyes half shut.

"Sucks man..." She mumbled upon hearing Seifer's story.

Neu would say more, but she was feeling a bit tired, or a bit sleepy. With how she has just been laying down as if she were ready to sleep, it was something that happened a lot. She still fought to stay awake, paying close attention to what the other two would be doing or saying since she couldn't do much herself.

Seifer's story really changed the mood of the place but it was unavoidable, almost everyone here is going to go somewhere after three days when the flights are ready.

"...I need to go check up on Neo...i'll be right back guys." he said, as he exited the room and went to Neo's room.

On his way there, his phone begins to ring, it seems like someone had sent him a mesage.

"...It's...Fei..." he said, upon looking at the message."...I see...I wanted to spend some more time with everyone I met but I guess it's unavoidable...Haruto comes first....but I should probably get the contacts of everyone I met." he says, as he continues walking.

Upon entering Neo's room he notices that Neo seemed half-awake, so he tried tapping him on the shoulder to see if he is conscious.

"...Neo?..You feeling any better?" he asked.

Neo opened his eyes again after noticing Tsubasa was in the room.

"Hey man... Im sorry for this.. Last thing I remember was standing in Neu's room. Im feeling ok" Neo said to him

"How is Neu doing?.." Neo asked Tsubasa

Neu couldn't tell if Seifer had left or not, but Tsubasa just did to check on Neo. That's when it hit her. This is one heck of an expensive hospital, how the hell is Neo going to pay for a room? Oh man.

"She's fine...she's a really strong person." he said. "Do you think you're going to be able to get out of the bed soon?"

Tsubasa did not mean to push Neo to get out of bed faster but he wanted to make sure that the people he met were going to be stable or okay during the time he will be away, they've given him a lot already.

"...See i'm going to be leaving after tomorrow, not going back to rijuku, but back to my home, I need to go rebuild my parent's house...it's the least I can do for my brother and for them...." he said.

"..Anyway I was hoping that we could hang out and maybe cardfight one last time before we all go our seperate ways...but of course I need to make sure that you're going to be ok man." he said.

"Tomorrow at the hotel.." Neo said

Thats when we will cardfight one final time.

Ill be ready for you and ill be out of this bed by then" Neo said

"...Alright then..I hope you'll be ready my friend, cuz I won't be holding back, I want this fight to be grand." he said, as he began to leave the room.

Tsubasa was not one to have much of an attachment towards others in the past, for him Vanguard was one way to change this aspect about himself, nevertheless he cannot hide that he will miss everyone he met so far.

He walks back to Neu's room and says, "..Neo's doing ok..he thinks he'll be able to leave the hospital bed by tomorrow...speaking of which we are all leaving tomorrow.."
