(GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop

All part of the plan.
Field Status
Formerly a popular card shop and the center of Umano's Vanguard scene.
Was used as a faction base during the Umano Turf War.
Now mostly abandoned.
The property was purchased by Isabella Hope.
What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.
Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.
Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.
Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

The stench was as bad as ever, but if this plan were to work, Isabella would just have to stop being a diva and get right to work. She changed out of her school uniform into much comfortable and protective work clothes. Since the Umano Restoration Project would require a much more stable Umano community to start off with, it wouldn't hurt to bring much more attention to Umano by giving its own operational Card Shop, a place for more honest fights.
From the looks of it, this place could already work as a shop for the local residents. Isabella already has large shipments of card packs and starter decks arriving. The aesthetics such as posters would have to wait. The first order of business today would be to fix the pipelines and stop leaks and re-wire some of the electrical outlets in order to put the building in an operational state. Isabella brought workers for that today as well as two to help her with the general cleaning of the area. Since she cleared the place out of thugs here yesterday, the local area has been much more peaceful and since this place was near the outskirts of Umano, it could easily attract outsiders.
Rebuilding Umano like a puzzle, starting from the corners then going in.
The workers which she hired carried truck loads of convenient cleaning materials as well as a hose to wash the filth off this place from top to bottom. There were those dispatched to fix the building's plumbing while the electricity in the building was restored by another unit. Isabella's group started with hosing the place down, bringing all the dirt and moss out, getting the place ready for a repaint, gathering small debris and cleaning up the broken glass. To make the Card Shop itself more attractive, it wasn't just the shop that needed work, but the neighboring buildings.
It looked like a lot of work, but she kept at it.

While wandering around, trying to better understand where everything in the city was, Darren stumbled upon the Umano area. He hadn't been around long enough to understand what was happening here, but when he saw something being constructed, he got curious. He walked closed to it, looking upward as he noticed that the first thing being built looked to be a card shop.
This first of all things?
Darren thought as he looked at it with his hands in his pockets.
People here really do love card games. Not that its a bad thing.

Isabella just finished picking up all the debris from the restroom area as long as the back of the shop where evrything would be stored. She was carrying two big black bags of trash. The shop itself now had clean tables and chairs. The shock bracelets had ben removed from the systems. Moss had been lsrgely cleaned and the pipelines had been fixed. There was apparently running electricity within this area now, but she had yet to check on it. The small lanterns that her workers brought have been providing her light. The engineers and plumbers left after finishing their job. Only three were left working with Isabella to clean the store over at the back. The area in front of the main counter no looked clean, but not fully restored. She catches someone. A person?
"Um hello??" she calls out, slowly walking with two giant bags of trash in hand.

As much as he wanted to get a closer look, Darren was no fool. He knew that he couldn't go any closer, otherwise he might hit his head and end up in a doctor's bed like Noel was earlier. He continued to look from where he was. That was when he heard someone call out to him. He looked forward and saw someone walking up to him. He didn't recognize her at first, waving his hand as he said,
"Hello there! I was just curious what's happening here!"

Lights being turned on would be good here... If they even work. Isabella quickly placed the bags down and headed for the light switches, flipping each one open, causing the shop to glimmer up... With a few non-working or weak lights. It was far better than using the lanterns though. She was at least able to recognize who it waz now that walked in and responded to her call.
"Darobo?" she thought that it was unusual for him to be here, heck it would be unusual for anyone to be here, "um hello, what brings you here, Also is Noel ok?"

Darren was confused to see Hana here of all people. He smiled lightly as he walked up to her now that he could see there was no danger.
"Oh, I just came by trying to know what else was around town. I haven't been to a lot of places yet. Just the Card Shop, the park, school and here now.
He laughed a little until he realized she also asked about Noel. He didn't know whether to smile or frown from the fact that he was so unsure on the straight answer. "She was up and moving by the time I left," he said to her, explaining as best as he could. "When I went to Card Capital, she came soon after to get more Jewel Knights. Seems she's having a hard time with that. I asked her about what happened and even she wasn't sure. She said it has happened before though."

"Oh right you're new, so touring around? This area really isn't the kind for that just yet."
She didn't really say much more about Noel, just thought it. Since she was up and moving and going to Card Shops, there was really no reason for worrying, otherwise it would be prying far too much at this point. She carried the bags to the entrance and quickly threw them next to the truck outside. While walking back into the store, she removed her gloves. Now was probably a good time to finish cleaning for the day. Plastering roof and wallks should probably be the next order of business. The floor needs tiles..
"Yeah I'm just here... Um... Cleaning."

The fact that she said yet was fairly strange. He followed her as she was moving around as he said, "Are you planning to do something with this place? With all you said about yourself before, its almost a surprise you're out here like this." He was starting to wonder if she needed some kind of help. It would not really be a problem for him to do so, but she also looked like she was stopping for the day. Perhaps another time.

"I'm trying to make this into an operational card shop to get money help out the community. Also to attract people to this town."
From this shop, a piece of the city would be restored, leading to another, and another. That would go until Umano becomes as lively and vibrant as Hoshiko and its famous shopping district. She waved at the workers over at the back of the store in order to signal them that she will be done for today as well as a "thanks."
She walked over to Darobo and pulled up a chair to sit. These had just been sanitized, but the shop is all finished, these will probably be replaced for newer ones.

Darren sat in the chair he was offered. He listened to all she said but was still a little confused. He understood a bit more though.
"So this isn't connected to Hoshiko, its a different district altogether. That explains why it wasn't easy to find."
Darren had a habit of getting into places he probably shouldn't. At least it didn't cause him trouble... this time.
Now that he had a moment to think, he remembered something he wanted to ask Hana about since earlier before.
"By the way... you mentioned that War of Liberation more than once. I was kinda wondering what that was. Some of what you said went over my head. Why were some of the clans banned from the tournament? Its kind of a weird rule."
The way he asked the question was a sign of how clueless he was.

Banned cards?
Weird. Isabella is positive that Neu directly interfered with the minds of the fighters all over the world in order to get the point across that the missing clans weren't legendary or sealed up.
"Erm they weren't banned. It is actually common knowledge that they were locked away."

Darren blinked lightly at what she said. Locked away? Now that he was thinking, he remembered something about that he saw at a glance and some people at a shop in his hometown mentioning it. Not only that, but no one used the Royal Paladin, Shadow Paladin, Kagero, or Bermuda Triangle during that time. He thought it was because they were lacking support so people just dropped them for newer things.
"So that's what you meant..."
He knocked his own head slightly for not knowing. Not enough for it to hurt of course, just to get the point of how empty headed he was at times.
"Sorry, that happens to me a lot. I miss details because I am in my own mind a lot. So I guess since you use Bermuda Triangle now, you were a part of bringing them back, huh?"

"Somewhat."
"I'm the one that got the people who went ahead to unseal the clans to unseal the clans?.. Something like that." Easiest way to put it without mentioning her weird starlight stalking powers.

"I guess that makes sense,"
Darren said lightly, remembering her talking about how important her family was. She would have the resources to gather people in that way so nothing about it sounded odd at all. He then blinked lightly as a thought occurred
Noel's clan was one of the sealed ones. Does that mean its doing something to her?
.
Trying not to think about that, he looked up at the thought of what that must have been like. "Unsealing clans sounds like a real adventure, whatever had to be done for it. I wonder if I could have helped if I was around at that time. Probably not..."
