"The coffee business is over with. You saw the shopping district, right? It's totally destroyed."
Haruka scratched his head and stretched, somewhat upset at the outcome. To be fair, he was involved in it's destruction too but...
"What about you? A pirate? Doesn't suit you, just saying. You seem more, er
godly
, I guess." He smiled, awkwardly scratching his chin. Talking to Neu like this was just strange. He had always found her to be a bit intimidating for some reason. Maybe she was just too familiar of a person to him.

Now that his brother is in Hawaii it was time for Tsubasa to continue on his mission to find the psycho who's been playing his sick games on him for the past few days. He still has no idea who it could be, he can fairly tell that he's not specifically targetting Tsubasa Hayato, but he's still not sure. To test this he chose to walk through the street of Gotem keeping an eye out for the people around him, trying to see any standout things that would give him any hints.
"...This is ridiculous...I know I don't standout as Tsubasa...but I have no leads....what should i do?" he thought, as he continued walking nearby several shops in the streets of Gotem City.

"Godly? Flattering. Why you destroy the Shopping District like that man, my favorite fish ball restaurant was there." Neu had a sad face.
Internally she was thinking about how she had just met another person with multiple personalities. Interesting. She also felt another presence, more familiar now. She thought to herself before shrugging and continuing to speak.
"I could rebuild it, but y'know, too much work."

"It's not like I entirely did it. Hana too. And I mean. Well everyone started Cardfighting and units started materializing and just, uh, yeah. Lots of stuff got broken too." Haruka tilted his head trying to dig through his memory well to figure out the details of the night. Most of them were blurry, probably because Sera still had full control at the time. Also Haruka was dead so, that too.
"Is it really? I mean, you could just poof it altogether right. Like a wizard?" Haruka foolishly waves his hands around, pretending he's holding a wand. Casts a spell. Pretends to poof something back to existence. But nothing actually happened, sadly.
"Like that?"
Why do you always make us look dumb?
What I do?
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

He'd been walking for hours, asking people and taking not of things around him, but so far no changes have happened. The mystery madman either was able to keep himself well-hidden or Tsubasa was just not looking in the right location.
"-sigh-...where else should I look..." he thought as he continued walking.
As he continued his stroll he spotted two familiar faces that he had not seen in a while, Haruka and Neu. He'd needed the break so he decided to go say hi, even though Haruka looked like he was performing a magic show to Neu.
"..I certainly did not expect to see you two here, how've you been Haruka? I have not heard from you in so long." he said, as he approached the two.

Neu laughed at the entire spectacle, thinking on how exactly it would work or look like.
"I guess it'll poof and be all better, but its kinda complicated even though that's how it'it'd kinda look like."
She then looked behind and started clapping. Whoa! "I didn't know you could do it too? You poofed my boyfriend back into existence!" Neu ran over to him and hugged Tsubaka. "Hello how have you been, how is your forehead, did you break any bones? Probably not because I made sure you wouldn't have any yeah."

Haruka sort of just blinked at the sudden appearance of Tsubasa. He wasn't really prepared for him to just appear from what seems like the depths of nowhere-vill. He looked around, making sure there wasn't any portals to a separate dimension he made or something. There indeed were none, but he was still shocked at it regardless.
"O-Oh hey man! Good t'see ya. I'm out looking around really, just sort up and about. Yourself?" Haruka pocketed his hands, leaning back on the window where the antique shop stuff was. Time to get comfy.

Seeing the both of them was rather heartwarming, since he had spent the last 14 hours trying to track down a madman who almost caused him to lose his brother. Nevertheless it was difficult to hide how he felt about the situation he was in, the sad part is that he could not speak of it so all he could do know was try to take his mind off of things.
"Oh..hey Neu, i'm glad you're doing well yourself, personally I'm fine no need to worry..I appreciate what you've been doing for me, though what's this about a forehead?" he said, as he placed one arm around her as a sort of one-hand hug.
"Hehe sorry to pop up out of nowhere, when I saw you guys here I figured it would be nice to say hi, a lot has happened since I last saw you both." he said, placing his free hand behind his head. "...Just exploring, i'm new to this area so I came here to do some sight-seeing I guess."

One-hand hug? What is this peasant level bull? Shall I cut one off in order to justify such blasphemy? This is some friend zone level hugging man, step it up!
Neu gave a grin and silently moved closer, pulling his arn a tad bit forcefully around her for a two hand hug. 100%. A real hug.
"Haha honey I'm so glad you have two hands. I mean it has been more than a while. Very long time actually. Manyoushouldagivenmeafullhugyoumessedthatup." she let out a forced laugh. " ha ha ha." Then turned over to Haruka, "So hows destroying the everything going?"

ABORT! ABORT! FISSION MAILED! RETREAAAAAT!
"Uh, you know. Not my fault."
Way to throw me under the bus man.
I didn't even say your name.
... Meh.
Salty much?
"Err, it's not like I'm trying to, y'know, tear everything I see into two and reverse every fighter out there. Speaking of which half of this town looks like zombies at this point." Haruka can clearly count up to seven or eight reversed zombies running around. They seemed pretty content with themselves for now though, so that's pretty much a-okay.
"But it happens I guess." He genuinely grinned, but his laugh was partly forced at the awkward encounter he was now faced with. How does one escape from this situation now. Maybe Neu won't notice-
Hahahaha, you're funny.
Man.

"Man, I've unreversed so many that I can unreverse the ones you're looking at right now in the blink on eye."
Neu unreversed them.
"See." They were still all in the background screaming from the unreversing. "Why so manyyyy, also what do you guys get for ruining a game for everyone, I am so confused."

"Like I said, not my fault. I would be unreversing if I could. Thing is that isn't an option."
You can't unreverse somebody with a Reverse unit that still contains Reverse energy, and Rebirth is quite literally exhuming with it. Okay Haruka, use a different deck? Okay man, chill. Overlord is sort of Haruka's life, it's not like he'll switch for anything. Maybe Beast Deities. Maybe.
Maybe.
"Trust me when I say that I want this fixed as much as the next guy, and I mean that. Even if it doesn't really seem like it. I truly am sort of disugsted by... all... of... man that screaming is really annoying."
Haruka plugged an ear to help keep the screams of the unreversed out. Man they were annoying.

"Man maybe one day you'll feel getting that kind of energy pulled out from you yourself and then you'll get it yo." Neu frowned.
The reason why she ended up in the hospital for a year was because of rift energy being forcible extracted from her after all, so she does get the pain of it and sympathized with the fighters. "Ooh. Foreshadowing... maybe." She laughed.
Haruka was the enemy even though he was all innocent and casual right now. She would have to fight him too since he was ruining Vanguard, whether it was intentional or not sadly.

Neu's reaction to his one-hand hug was rather strange, he was genuinely tired and for that reason he assumed she would understand, still it was kinda cute. He listened intently to the conversation at hand, he was aware about Haruka being involved with this whole ordeal but he was only now becoming more clear to him, in a way he could feel Diablo's persona raging within him wanting to challenge Haruka's ideals regarding this situation.
In order to make up to Neu, for now, for his condition he chose to stand behind her and place both of his hands around her waist, just a subtle embrace, as he raised his gaze towards Haruka and posed his question, "..What does Vanguard mean to you exactly?"

"Hm? Ah... Vanguard?"
To not be left alone.
To understand what I couldn't otherwise.
To imagine a world that isn't this one.
To escape.
"Vanguard is a game I play to keep up. Its my way of never falling behind my friend I guess. Y'know, sort of like a connection. I mean, in reality if I didn't play, I wouldn't have met any of you."
Haruka chewed on his bottom lip, lowering his gaze to the ground with a bit of sorrow draping in his chest. He felt the curtains of his emotions start to close up. He wasn't that particularly opposed to talking about his Vanguard and what it means to him. The only problem is right now, Vanguard is exactly what is causing so many problems in his life.
