The anime spoiled a bunch of stuff for the Purgatory group. Putting the images in spoiler, because they're big:

Purgatory Sentinel confirmed.

The G1 is presumed to gain +3k when a rear-guard is retired in the same column as it, and the G3 retires a unit in the same column as it when the vanguard checks a card with the same name as a unit on V. Yes it's a G3 rear-guard ability. Those apparently still exist.

There was also the 4k starter shown that presumably isn't of the "Purgatory" group if the subs aren't lying again. It's just the generic, when your performs Legion, the starter gets +5k until end of turn.

.....  And...  I'll go wonder...  Why LJ gets 3 - 4 Legions in one set after they got a TD....  While the clans that actually effing need it get 1 - 2....  Especially since Royal Paladin only got 2 Legions in their previous set, one of which got cloned here.  It's just not cool, since Link Joker was already a really good clan before this, and will only get better after.  They've gotten a unit that locks for free, a unit that Omega Locks one unit on-hit when boosting, a Legion that does the same thing as their Breakride, a Legion that makes RG columns hit insane numbers, and more on the way!  Granted, Tachikaze got some really good Legions (Mainly their R one)...  But Granblue's is at TD Ace level....  And Aqua Force's Main Legion is a disappointment...  And the lack of any Jewel Knight support...  This set has more disappointment than not so far....

Hey don't single out Link Joker!

Gold Paladins are getting 4 Legions between this set and the Trial Deck as well! They're also in the Movie Booster alongside Link Joker, Royal Paladin, and Kagero.

Granted Link Joker's also getting another Trial Deck based off the movie's Deletors, but that Trial Deck is likely to be an introduction to next season with the "Delete" mechanic it's debuting.

Details are still unknown.

The G2 pictured is the 10k vanilla.

The card in question is called "Purgatory Dragon, Heat Wing Dragon", which is the G3 pictured.

It's possible that it's an error on their part, but for now that's what the card is.

Hmm....I'll have to rewatch to be sure, but I don't recall any other G2 besides Menace Laser and the vanilla.

i dont understand why people say magmarmour is any good
i have tested him and his best combo is a cross retire which results in multiple attacks until you run out of resources
its inefficient and outclassed by basically every other legion i dont understand how anyone could consider it "good"

Magmarmor wasn't made to finish he's made to create pressure and finish with tyrannoquake at least that's how I see it.

tyrannoquake shouldnt be a finisher it should be what you sit on mid game to kill your opponent's hand through his high powered pressure
IMO magma should just be that half decent backup VG thats meh if you get it but better than nothing

Ya, Ancient Dragon, Tyrannoquake is like using Cormac with Revengers good for early game pressure since that simple cost to gain a crit which can force hand letting Phantom Blaster Abyss be the finisher so I agree that
Ancient Dragon, Tyrannoquake
is better off being a early/mid game Legion then letting Ancient Dragon, Magmarmor be the finisher plus it soul blasts units allowing u too soul blast everything (aka the Ancient Dragon, Tyrannoquake and Ancient Dragon, Tyrannobite that's in soul, letting you be able to Legion repeatedly )

Thank you Sui. Though I have to wonder, besides LJ and GP. Okay so in the anime, currently, no one is using Seekers right? So... why are they getting support? I mean there's two theories, that Aichi is going to use Seekers which is plausible. The other theory is that he's using LJ, I mean that too is plausible. Now that they've switched a few people's clans (Kourin whhyyyyy?!?!?) I have no idea on what their thought processes are (cept money money money lol).

That's true, I have the summer festival to look towards. Here's hoping we all get some good legions for our clans/archetypes!...and Jewel Knights.

Not everything supported has to be shown in the anime y'know.

They probably wanted to throw Seekers a bone like they did with Brawlers, but obviously showcased the Brawlers since it's a crossride of Naoki's new ace.

Seekers and Brawlers being the first Legion decks they promoted, it makes sense for them to keep supporting them. Though it doesn't look like they'll be getting much outside of Purgation Breath Dragon from RRRs/RRs, so Seeker players will have to look forward to the Rares and Commons.

Speaking of which, there's no telling if the Royal Paladin LB4 enabler, assuming each clan gets one this set, will be from a specific group. Since we know that the majority of LB4 units in Royal Paladins are Jewel Knights, it makes sense for the enabler to have Jewel Knight in the name.

We'll just have to wait and see.
