BT17 Spoilers and Discussion

The main visual for "Blazing Perdition" and news about the set has arrived.

This set is full of Key Cards used by Kai and his friends in the animated TV Series, "Cardfight!! Vanguard Legionmate Arc"! Strengthen your Deck with cards that use the new mechanic "Legion"! It contains a ton of powerful cards, as well as cards to make your "Will of the Locked Dragon" and "Divine Judgment of the Bluish Flames"!

This pack includes at least 1 New Legion for each of the 8 Clans included!!

Its already a powerful effect that's a hit with players! Get your hands on "Legion" ASAP!!

In honor of "Blazing Perdition", the "O-dermade Deck Campaign" will be occurring!

This set goes on sale August 8th, 2014!

Alright so.
Link Joker is the biggest threat this set so far. Eyes will be on it heavily.
Royal might be able to use the support in the set to power Sing Savor if not restricted.
Kagero is very close behind it and I do not believe they will restrict the grade 4 to help the set sell. Yet...
Aqua Force will be interesting to see what stuff they will come up with especially since they can attack multiple times fast.
Then Narukami is about the same as Kagero hopes for no Eradicator support give it to Dungree instead. >.>

Tachikaze, Royal, Gold, and Granblue I'm looking forward to the most from these clans.

On here is the link for a spoiler made officially by Bushiroad. It leaks a grade 1 skill in BT17 that is translated:

"G1 / POWER: 7000 / GUARD: 5000
(R): Your VG's <LB4> skills can be
activated even if you have 3 or less
cards in your damage zone".

So for all you LB 4 lovers out there (including me), you may now begin to squeal in excitement.

The first Legion crossride and it's a doozy.

Slash Buster is a vast improvement over its original form. The added Miranda style boost really helps it. I really think they should do more units like that.

Knuckle Buster is a very strong card that definitely breathes life into its original form. Killing any 3 rear-guards while also attacking the vanguard? Yes please.

It can also build its own crossride body with the ability, which is definitely nice since you will definitely want to ride this guy first if you had the choice between the two.

Oh...  My...  God...  This...  IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!  I can't wait for this to be added, so that I may destroy, or should I say bust, all in my path with the power of the might Big Bang Knuckle!!!  These new, improved abilities just take Big Bang Knuckle to a whole new level, especially being able to do it multiple turns in a row, since I had expected it to only be during the turn it Legioned.  This is a very nice turn of events, and I certainly will be maining this for a time.

"When choosing a unit for this unit's attack, choose four of your opponent's units, this unit battles every chosen units in one attack." Notice how it doesn't mention Rearguards or Vanguards? It only says 'unit' even the vanguard is a 'unit'  and when in legion, the vg counts as two units, and this doesn't activate WHEN he's attacking, so thus, out of the four targets, you either have to target 4 rearguards and not the vanguard OR you have to target the vanguard, which counts as two and thus eats up two of your hits and two rearguards.

I know you might be thinking 'meh I don't get to hit the vanguard AAAAND wipe out four units?' which for the cheap cost, doesn't really fit with it, that'd be WAY too easy and destroy many a deck without too much fuss. But on the plus side, you can 'pick' which four units you fight, meaning you could swing at the vg for two out of four hits, then blast their backrow with the remaining two OR use three of your hits for their backrow and then the fourth to wipe out a frontrow rearguard.
