metalborg counters

as the tidal suggests ive been thanking  of high chance strategy's for countering the metalborgs.

so far i only come up with drawing and luck i got nothing else.
beaten them a few times by saving my 10k guards and destroying my opponents rearguards.

so has anyone found or thought of a good counter ?

I usually beat metaborg by taking dmg early game to save my shield. rush them early game as well as when they legion and all that, just pg there rgs and use g0's for vg and i find kagero/narukami to beat Metaborg decks quite easily since i take out there rgs lol.

But using one strategy on someone wont work on another since there's people who use like 6 stands 6 crits, 8 crits 4 stands etc then there's ppl who dont do that. People who run Daikaiser and troll with Laurel so the best thing imo is too figure out there deck build , etc rush tactics just take the dmg early game and save your 10k shields etc

I usually fight them by guarding early so i can take the big attacks from Sin Buster later. Of course this won't work against Dryon or Laurel though.

Yeah you'd need shirayuki for that cause -10k with Mandala wouldnt do much if they powered up there vg with Mist Ghost and Russell Blizzard and that Metalborg stand trigger -10k i dont think would get rid of it at all. Not factoring in the boost cause some ppl run Glory maker which is a 10k booster with 4 dmg or more lol.

I think he just ment that you don't have to wait for limit break to utilize.
I guess it's a matter of preference.
Even if I still think Shirayuki is way better with her -20k. 4 stages of guard down. as appose to the 2 stages for Mandala. You just have to wait a bit longer.
Mandala Lord has searchers for him though and while Breakride can help both it helps Shirayuki a lot more.

I personally would pick Shirayuki if I had to pick one of the two.

Neither Shirayuki nor Mandala Lord removes the Legion skill. This is because the Legion skill happens when the Legion attacks, and meets the requirement. The skill goes off before Shirayuki or Mandala Lord's skills. The purpose to using Shirayuki is to drop your opponent's power so that you will have an easier time guarding.

I dont even find Metalborg to be a big threat lol. u guard early game rush them entire cf etc that's how i beat them and i dont lose to that deck often lol like 1/10 cfs i lose to it.
