Why not use 4 of each Legion?

Because Noir's awful imo.

Drop Nightmist to 2 and max Negrobolt. He's the best boss Granblue have gotten in awhile. ... And that's saying something. Drop Blanc's number a bit and max Ruin since Ruin is your best Grade 2 Ride and Blanc eats up Negrobolt's Counterblast game.

I don't think Noir's that bad lol. I do agree about Negrobolt being the best GB boss g3. But Blanc's cb usually doesnt eat up all my dmg. Plus I run 3 Ruinshade's but everyone has there own style" I guess you can say with how they use GB. So I can't say that any build is "wrong"

maybe I should drop Noir for Cocytus Reverse?

NO

Dear God, no! Cocytus R is never a good choice unless you're playing the Limit Break enabler! Noir may be awful in my opinion for being borderline useless except for a counterblastless call, but he's definitely a safer and stronger version of Cocytus R himself.

Your Grade 3 choices are all perfectly okay. Their numbers are just a bit off is all.

Cocytus reverse is a plainly pointless card imo, and he looks weird.

well most Reverses are pretty pointless outside their respective builds and Glendios IMO.  I did put him in this, but thought "nah, now he just looks stupid."  So I put Noir back.

Cocytus R is the prime example of Bushi thinking Granblue want to play like Lightsworns from Yugioh... The clan doesn't like overly milling and don't exactly have a Judgment Dragon to take advantage of it.

Negrobolt is really cool because it actually focuses solely on reviving instead of trying to cut your entire deck in half for it.

I thought Granblue was already Lightsworn in general, but whatever.  I'm fine with it either way.

It was noticeable from Cocytus R milling 3 to revive one. That doesn't mean Granblue always want to be like Lightsworns when it's a lot safer to just Soul Blast the revive targets you want or even guard with some. Milling is nice to have for them, but not on the absurd level their designs keep wanting.

Pinot Noir shares that problem and has a stupid way of gaining +5000. Negrobolt, however, lets you retire what you don't need and immediately grab something you want without having to reduce your deck to 15. Nightmist is a lifesaver too. That's why I love both of them and hate Noir. But Noir isn't entirely useless, which is why I said the Grade 3 lineup is perfectly fine. Nightmist is amazing, Negrobolt's an incredible boss, and Noir is nice to have.

I like both equally I just don't see why ppl prefer one over the other -_-. Like the BR makes the deck too slow -_-

Didn't I just explain the reason for preference?

If you play Brutal Shade it isn't slow. But even if you don't and you don't play Nightmist, you're missing out on the best Grade 3 in the clan. There's not really much point in not playing him when he makes up for the deck's faults.

I know I was talking about in general. It works with your build lol.

That's sort of why in general though.

It's not just my build. It's a free +2 for riding, and that's not even including Legioning. It's a pretty good tactic with Pinot Noir because it'll actually function exactly like Percival only without the need for extra units. Hell, with a Blanc or two in Drop that's a full field refill for Break Riding, Counterblast 2, and milling 3. Only a single card from hand (your ride) and that's made up for with Banshee.

In fact, I'll be trying him in my build because of the Percival-like utility.

Yeah I just abuse all the Banshee's , etc and end up drawing my legions(Since I run 8 in mine) and tend to legion every only reason why I said the BR's wouldn't help in mine since I also run no draws either. (4 banshee crits, 4 of other crits, and 4 stands/heals. )

I tend to get big hands and abuse that one stand trigger and then use it for fodder with uhm, Pinot Noir or my Samurai Spirit/Deadly Nightmare's.

But I think Granblue is getting a new unit that is a damage unflipper.(Reason why I'm running 8 legions) Well one of the reasons.

to be fair, Nightmist was the only thing I could think of that could effectively abuse Banshees.  I know that there might be others too, its just that Nightmist sticks out more.

...I can't Granblue as well as I thought I could.
