Welcome to the planet Cray, where futuristic science and ancient magic coexist as one. On the planet, there are six nations that are constantly in conflict with each other. Within each nation are clans that represent an idea that makes their nation whole. You are now a denizen of this large body. Who are you? What will you fight for? Join in on the fight and put your name in history.

Hello everyone! I've been roleplaying for over a year now, and I've wanted to start a role play thread for vanguard for quite a while now; the idea of combining my love for Cardfighting into my love for storytelling was just so exhilarating! So I decided to organize this thread for everyone to enjoy! I'll explain as much as I can here, but please, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me! Other than that, enjoy yourself!

ROLE PLAY RULES
1.) The role play will be text-based and be posted right here on this thread. To create a character, simply use the template provided below.
2.) You are allowed to be anyone you want, so if you want to create an original character or play as an existing unit, you may do so. You are also not limited in the amount of characters you can role play, but be wary of keeping up with multiple branching plot lines!
3.) While highly recommended, knowledge of the official lore of Cray is not required. If someone goes off on a tangent that doesn't coincide with the lore, do not correct them with the official lore. This is meant to be an open-ended role play and friendly to people who wish to shape their story.
4.) No bad language! No lewd scenes! No grotesque scenes! Keep everything for ages appropriate for 13+ years!
5.) If you need to make a quick note outside of roleplay in one of your posts, use the Non-Thread Related disclaimer. Example: "NTR: [Message outside of roleplay]"

INCORPORATING CARDFIGHT AREA (CFA) INTO ROLE PLAY
1.) You may only use CFA to emulate battles.
2.) You may use the CFA chat during battle to continue the role play as the battle unfolds, but make sure to post the dialogue later on this thread.
3.) While not required, it would be a courtesy to post the game replay on your battle follow up post. 4.) You do not have to cardfight each time you get into a scuffle during role play. You are allowed to have detailed fights right here on the thread. Use of CFA is recommended for big battles only.

THREAD RULES FOR CARDFIGHTING
1.) Standard Cardfight rules apply.
2.) Double mull is allowed
3.) No cards are limited or banned. Yes, you can use Barcgal and Conroe as a starter. You may also use up to four copies of Cat Butler.
4.) No clan mixing! If you have a character belonging to two more more different clans then you must use two more more different decks each of one clan. Cards that have effects related to mixed clans are exceptions. Example: "Majesty Lord Blaster" or "Star-Vader, "Omega" Glendios"

Now that I'm back from work (early) I say we get this show on the road! Aaand...ACTION!

As Lucifer walked the long hallway to the Chief Nurse's office, he was browsing on his flip phone through his message history. Every so often, he would find a message in his inbox and delete it, then, he would check his outbox and delete the message that corresponded to his previous inbox message. He stopped for a second just before the Chief's receptionist could see him around the corner to finish deleting his history. After a minute of finishing up, he closed his phone, put it away, and continued to greet the receptionist.
"Good morning," Lucifer said with a smirk.

The angelic receptionist looked at him with piercing eyes.
"You know not to keep her waiting," she said to Lucifer.

Lucifer scoffed at the woman.
"I had things to do. I can't help it."
The receptionist looked away stoically and opened the door to the Chief Nurse's office from her desk. Lucifer continued his stroll into the office with the doors slowly closing behind him. He stopped a few feet inside and took a deep breath before speaking to another busy looking woman.
"Good morning , mother," he said with his smirk.

The woman Lucifer was talking to was none other than Chief Nurse, Shamsiel, the leader of a clan of angels that have dedicated themselves to healing the warriors that fight for this nation; this clan was fittingly named, "Angel Feather."
Shamsiel looked up from her paperwork with a slightly annoyed expression.
"You are late, son. Did I tell you to never sleep in when mommy works?"

"My alarm's power went out last night," Lucifer said to his mother, "I can't help it if the electrical storms take the power out at night."

Shamsiel huffed and moved on to another subject, "You know you have a visitor coming this afternoon, right? You'd best be prepared to show how much you've learned during your training."

Lucifer grinned and did a playing off gesture, "I know, I know, who ever it is I'll wipe them clean. Just watch," Lucifer held out his pointer finger, "Now I do have a question. I was told one of two people are showing up to test me. Is it Daiearth from the DP or Savas from the Aqua Force?"

Shamsiel softly smacked her palm against her forehead, "This is why I wonder what the future of Angel Feather will be like with you in charge. You can't even remember who's taking precious time out of their busy schedule to leave their nation and test you?" Lucifer shrugged, and his mother spoke again still with her palm on her forehead, "Just wait outside for our guest. I'll meet you there when he arrives."

"Not after I've had some breakfast," Lucifer spoke back. He slyly dashed out of his mother's office chuckling to himself.

Shamsiel almost gritted her teeth, "How did I raise such a boy?" She said to herself.

Ahhh now i get what you guys are doing xd xd. It looks so fun  ;D
I should try to think of a character as well if i may join  :P

-United Sanctuary's Harvoir is at sight Sir!- shouted Andrei while looking through a telescope on the highest part of the ship.

-Perfect, Andrei, Cyril, Alexpose... Prepare for landing- Ordered the Rear Admiral Savas who seemed a litte bit concerned about the current situation of Cray "I Fear that some clans might use this stride Phenomenon to try to conquest other countries, if that's the case then Angel Feather's Healing is going to be of extreme importanse, both to assist the wounded civilians and to keep my comrades fighting the invaders..." those were the thoughs that haunted Savas' mind while his sight was lost in the high skyscrapers from the Holy Nation

-Good evening, how can i help u?- Asked the recepcionist of shamshiel's Office to the man dressed with a white navy uniform when he stoped right in front of her desk.

-I think i'm just in time, i have an important date with Lucifer... - said Savas after checking the hour in his watch pocket, leaving some space between his words for then proceed with his speech after inserting his watch inside his pocket... - is he here?...-asked with a polite and gentle tone while making eye contact with the recepcionist.

"Please hold," the receptionist instinctively said.
She picked up the phone and spoke after a few seconds, "Chief?...Admiral Savas has arrived. Shall I let him in?...Understood."
She hung up the phone, "Doctor Shamsiel will greet you in person."

Just then, the door to Shamsiel's office opened, and a professional looking angel with mechanical wings appeared before Savas.
"Thank you for coming all this way, Admiral Savas," Shamsiel said to him with a respectful bow.
"I hope you had no trouble on the docking bay?"
Inside her head, Shamsiel was screaming angrily about the whereabouts of her son.

Lucifer was trotting along the hospital grounds eating a coffee roll in one hand and carrying a quarter gallon of chocolate milk in his other. As he was passing by the angelic nurses on duty, he was getting words of admiration from them. He gave them a suggestive smile and wink, then one of them blissfully fainted in the arms of her nearby friends, who were blushing at Lucifer. He chuckled at this site and continued on his morning stroll.

After Lucifer finished his breakfast, he sat down on a nearby bench to ponder with himself before the big show.
"Throughout all the years of learning and training, I'd gain a lot of confidence. Before, I was just an awkward nobody who happened to be the Chief Nurse's son. No one believed I could amount to anything because I had no angel wings, nor did I grow up with the Paladins early enough to learn how to fight. Man, I am so disappointed with myself back then. But...now, I learned to use my smarts to fight. I've even trained myself in acceleration magic so I can move around quicker and not get hurt in battle. Maybe...just maybe...I can get some sort of recognition after this fight. I just wish I remembered who was coming to test me."
