It's a very stupid but genuine question.
I ask because I've been going with the traditional mindset of 17-14-11-8 ratio however I doubt there will be any kind of 'Novelistic playstyle' involved with it and it's obvious in some cases that it doesn't allow the clan and deck that I have created to florish in the way I invisioned it to.
Bottom line; what kind of general strategy have you guys created to make a deck that is successful and imagintive. After all, Vanguard is about your winning image :)

Well, practice makes perfect, so if you continue to play and learn from your mistakes, you will eventually play the deck well enough and it will become successful for you.

^ So true.

Well you can always start off on deck building and then work from there.

Sacking is pretty much getting a load of triggers non-stop

Its going to take awhile but I would say to start you off: Find a clan that you like/have an interest in. I would suggest once you find the clan you like, find a Grade 3 boss monster you like and make a deck based on that unit. It could be a unit that is strong or one you like. Now once you make your first deck with a clan, test it out for awhile. I would say about 10-15 games against a variety of clans to see what changes you can make to the deck.
Also when playing Vanguard, as many people stated above you will tend to get alot of triggers throughout a fight which is why people use the term sacking. Just remember that triggers are apart of Vanguard so if someone says you sacked throughout the game, dont get discouraged because its part of Vanguard. Also have fun while playing Vanguard. Since your a beginner im sure it will be frustrating at first but Vanguard is a fun game to play. Always Remember that.

There are two Options.... Option #1 Fight Ren until you give up (due to consecutive defeat) since Ren is Super Stronk... or... Option #2 Build a Deck with tons of Sacking Triggers and Go back to Option #1 :D
