Now that we have a proper user system, and spectating mode at that, this thing aims to help people to play by the rulebook and prevent any cheating by both parties.
We can provide a thread announcing for applicants who are willing to become these moderators. They'll send in their application form through private message or forum post, and we'll handle a test including various trivial situations in Vanguard. If the applicants were able to resolve the situations in a correct manner, we may now hire them as moderators.
The main function of moderators are to spectate players and correct any wrong moves in their game. They also have the ability to see the cards in the hands of both players for correcting any accidental draws etc. Moderators may report any cheating by providing any necessary information such as replay files to the administration group. Once a player is proven guilty, we may incur several consequences to the player. The players may also report any moderators who misuse their powers from the forums.
This is a really rough draft but I hope you guys get the idea of it, we can work things up from here and make something really useful I believe.

We are planning to introduce in-game moderation at a later date, if I remember correctly. ^^

are they kept in a small hanfull and do they have rules partaining to themselves.
also i dont think we should force people to follow the rules, i think we should just let those people be.
since they are not in an open area for everyone to hear let them do what they want in that chat, but once there in open world they should follow the rules. maybe i have the wrong train of thought since anyone say something i dont like it i leave.

That was sarcasm. > _>
In the game and so many necessary things that are not implemented. Moderation if it is, it is not very soon.

If the players both agree to play with their own rules, I'm sure we could make exceptions to allow them to have their own fun of course.
Leaving a game because you know the other guy is bad doesn't change anything, we should turn things better for everyone, no?
-
As Rem said, it won't happen that soon, even though I'm rushing Shockwave to do it because of the terrible behaviour of certain players. With it implemented, just the fact that we'll be able to boot/warn/ban someone will change how most of the people act since they'll be aware that there are certain concequences to what they do.
About the logs and whatnot, you can press "Q" in-game to see the logs of everything you and your opponent've done, thusly, you can see whether your opponent is cheating or not.
Also, if you meant it in a DuelingNetwork sort of way, that won't happen, since, duh, fail.

People should follow the rules, as others could easily be offended, or disrupted. If they don't follow rules, everything falls into anarchy and we all die.

This is really not necessary, i play this game for a long time and rarely ever someone cheats, the missplays are usually honest mistakes and if you just warn them they'll redo. And besides if someone cheats and keeps cheating all you have to do is not play with them, this is not a ranking game like Dueling Network or something like that, so there's no need to call admins to proof the opponent wrong just to get the win.

Exactly all you need to do is explain most of the time. If you played DN you know that calling a admin takes way longer than that, since there are many people in the game.

yesterday i learned sing savers new ruling and i couldnt believe it. like usual i checked wiki and it was there.
today i fight the katcaps and some people couldnt believe it when i used it today.
i dont think we need a mod call button but a watcher chat would make it simpler for multiple people to look things up.

With this i agree. Watchers chat would be really nice.

there should at least be a bot in game to prevent spam and too much swearing
