Well since the first one is finally over with, I'm wondering if there will be a second one and if so, what the cover cards will be and what will be the requirements to obtain them.
-
i hope they next ones have some interesting covers.
so far there are no covers i want out there.
-
Hoping it's not related to the amount of forum post you have if they do decide to do a second event.

I agree.

I dunno, I mean based on that, look how active this place got. Sure some of it was spam, but otherwise it forced people to get active, to talk, to make topics and the like, I prefer that over random chance or something like that.

The thing is that it will get repetitive, and eventually will be impossible to new members to reach the goals.

maybe it should be that only certain people that joined certain months should get them.
like this time the people who joined the first month of the forum can get one and when we see thins slow down we let the next month have a go the next day or so and so on.
that would be a good circulation method in my book.

That would take sometime to circulate, but it's an idea.

It should be meeting a certain post threshold during the event (i.e. ~100 posts?) and having been on the forum for a certain amount of time (ex. 2 weeks). This way, it would hopefully promote activity and still give people a chance.

I agree with Sandy. I rather have some sort of requirements in order to eliminate leaving it up to chance. It also means that less people have a chance at winning if they are lazy and that means more chances for us if they have a limit of the cover cards. I do think the posts was a good thing for the community, but maybe the posts should only be a part of the requirement in combination with something else since the posts were good for the community. Instead of a number, perhaps just showing activity and involvement via posts and logins and what not.

If it were a post event it should only count posts made after the start of the event to be fair to new users.

That would make sense.
