Card Choice Explanations:
● Current Triggers - The reasoning behind playing a trigger line-up of 8/2/2 is so that I can play a good amount of offensive power in the form of crits, especially in conjunction with my G3 bosses, while also getting the most of the Stand Triggers. Since the Genesis Stand Trigger has an especially powerful ability, even when disregarding the fact that you can easily pick it up from the Drop Zone and throw it into the soul, I feel like it would be a shame to not play some of it. It helps that the Stand Trigger also works incredibly well with Minerva and Yggdrasil as they already force out a huge amount of advantage, with a Stand only helping to force out more.
● 4 Apple Witch, Cider with 4 Quintet Wall - One of Genesis' weak points has been cured with Regalia getting more support, which was the rate at which they decked out previously. Being a heavy soulcharging clan, they would occasionally go through a good majority of their deck and then end up with an incredibly small deck size that needed addressing afterwards. This is no longer the case, however, as Regalia tend to do the vast majority of their soul ramping from their Drop Zone now. This means you can now afford to play 4 Quintet Walls, especially since this deck counterblasts very little for what it does, in order to fill up your Drop Zone with Regalia cards you want to move into Soul and others that you want to throw back into the Deck for a Legion. Cider is there so that you can make the most out of a Quintet Wall at the best time by throwing her on the end so a Quintet Wall becomes a Perfect Guard that creates an additional 7 soul.
● Regalia of Wisdom, Angelica and Omniscience Regalia, Minerva over Regalia of Midnight, Nyx - While Nyx is fun and dandy, I don't feel that Nyx does enough to be worth the space in the deck despite her being a Legion. As a result, I'm playing Angelica and Minerva in order to make the late game the best it can possibly be. Angelica is mainly there so she can be thrown in the Soul for whenever I ride Minerva, but she can also just be a Break Ride if you have to ride her and is most importantly a G3 that actually supplies something to your Soul every turn. Minerva is just an incredibly powerful finisher when used in conjunction with the Soulblast +5s, easily finishing off your opponent when they're at 5 damage due to Yggdrasil.
This is purely theory as of the moment, so any comments on where my theory may have been faulty is appreciated.

Personal preference I find 4 QW way too risky especially in Genesis, just the thought of a possible 12cards + being sent to the Drop will put you to decking out quickly... even if you play Legion :/ but I dunno, I play dragons so no idea.

The whole thing with this deck is that you can actually recycle most things in some way or another, but I do prefer 3 QW 1 PG in this kind of build.
