Post by: NextGenNick on June 12, 2014, 05:29:55 PM: It's that time of year guys, the world cup, the biggest competition in the world! 32 of the finest countries fielding the worlds greatest players playing for country, with there national pride on the line!

I will update this thread with fixtures and results for all games and groups, who do you think will win? what are your predictions for each game? It's the beautiful game boys, anything can happen in the next 90 minutes!

yea i know the situation and i am on there side. that stadium is such a waste of good money.

but today i feel bad to be part Portuguese considering what happened with portugal.

Conclusion:
- Don't judge teams by their individuality. Take Costa Rica for an example. They aren't known in the world at all and htey crush Uruguay and Italy, it'll be the same with England.
On the other hand you have a Spain with 90% of the team made up of world-class individuals and they get declassed by Nederlands and Chile easly. Brazil is playing terribly too, they've gone trough the first match due to the obvious 12th player. I wouldn't be surprised if they tied or even lost to Cameroon, since, Cameroon does have an attacking element but in their match against Croatia they went on the defensive since Croatia pushed their lines very quickly resulting in them losing due to terrible defences. If they start offensively against Brazil, let's just say Brazil'd be in for a special treat, since, this is undoubtly the worst generation of Brazil yet. Money ruins people. Stupidity does too. Both being Neymar.
- This might result in an unexpected victory. Honestly, with what Costa Rica has showed so far, I wouldn't mind them winning. They deseve it the most. But as I said before, this WC can't be predicted at all. Just look at Nederlands. One day they declass the actual champion and the other they almost lose to Australia who's played magnifiscently despite Winds saying they suck, which they really don't. I'm terribly sorry that their WC time is over. I'd loved t see them pass.

But well this might make this WC very interesting since it is the first time i see the last worldchampion lose in the preliminaries. maybe we will see even more dark horses as the worldchampionchip Progresses.
