Title: Can't run Cardfight Area! Help me!

Hi! Yesterday i bought new laptop with Windows 8.1 and I wanted to play CF Area. But when I try to run it says "Unexpected error occured when running the game.". Please help me! :'( :'( :'(

Did you try to download WinRAR and open CFA using that ?

As far as I know there isn't a Cfa patch for 8.1 try extracting the file to a specific location

Isn't there a way CF Area to be played on Windows 8.1 after some updates or I will have to return to Windows 7?

I have Windows 8.1 and it runs perfectly fine for me. I extracted my files in the "Downloads" folder.

Try downloading it again? Maybe something went wrong while you were downloading it. It's either an extracting issue or a downloading issue. I can't think of anything else.

But do you need other programs except DirectX and WinRar? Because I tried over 20 times to download and extract but still can't run it right.

The problem is clearly not in the game, maybe in compatibility with Windows. Try compatibility mode.

I'm pretty sure that I had a similar problem with a new laptop that has windows 8.1 running before, but it notified about a missing plugin or something and asked to download so I let it run and managed to get the application working.

Can you say what is that program that you installed because I tried so much programs that I have no idea what it will be

Try to run some games which Gamemaker.

So here's what happened - I clicked the link that 41024 showed me and downloaded random game. After I started it there appeared a message and after it - the same message that appears on Cardfight Area. Sooooo...
Also I want to ask you for help because of the tournament.

Look for solution compatibility with GameMaker games.
Perhaps it lacks any libraries or plugins.

SOLVED! I just have to make sure that my drivers are up to date.... ;D
