MULTINATIONAL VANGUARD SPRING TOURNAMENT

Hello, cardfight community. I'm thrilled to be able to host the first official Cardfight Area's tournament. And get a load of this, the players who'll take the first 3 places will get a special prize! A Trial Deck of their own choice! But that's not it! The Trial Decks accesible include the new "TD14: Seeker of Hope" & "TD15: Brawler of Friendship"! The tournament will take place on Sunday the 13th of April 2014, at 14:00 [GMT (London)] The registrations will end 2 hours before the start of the tournament. The rules are important, so be sure to read everything from this point on.

TOURNAMENT RULINGS:

1. The tournament will be Single Elimination. Best out of 3 (Match)
2. You're able to redraw twice before the start of the first turn (Double Mulligan).
3. Respect your opponent. Using swear words will result in disqualification. [DQ]
4. You must play the same deck troughout the tournament. Changing decks results in disqualification. [DQ]
5. You mustn't cheat. Cheating results in disqualification. [DQ]
6. All contestants have 15 minutes to show up. Otherwise, you'll be disqualified. [DQ]
7. Skill [Legion] is restricted to 3 times per cardfight.

9. Mixed decks are not allowed.

EXCEPTIONS:
- A "Royal Paladin" deck may contain up to 12 Shadow Paladin units.
- An "Etranger" deck may contain up to 25 units from another clan.
- A "Link Joker" deck may contain up to 20 units from another clan.

10. Standard OCG restrictions are valid.
   

Royal Paladin: Barcgal is banned as a starting vanguard [SV].
Kagero: Lizard Soldier, Conroe is banned as a starting vanguard [SV].
Great Nature: Epitome of Knowledge, Silvest is banned
Narukami: A >>Narukami<< deck can only have up to 2  Eradicator, Dragonic Descendants

1. Post a comment that will include your in game name [IGN], the Clan you will be using and your Timezone.

FAQ:

1. How will i receive the prize? Is it in english?

If you end up in Top 3 we will ask for your personal information needed to send you information. For an example:
John Johnson

The TD's that haven't been released in english will be in Japanese, but we'll tell that in the end of the tournament.

2. How will we know whom to fight?

Excellent question. I will put the brackets here, but i'll also type out the matches manualy. You need to post the results of our fights here and check the forum after each round to know who your next opponent is.

3. Can i attack more that 3 times if i have a Legioned Vanguard?

Yes, you can. Legion restriction is applied only to the first skill of the legion, the Legion itself. Meaning, you can't unite the 2 cards more than 3 times in a cardfight. Attacking has nothing to do with Legion.

Read it and you'll know when it starts.
Yes, you can perform Legion 3 times.

Example:
- Wingal's legion, return 4, Legion with BBS.
- Ride another Wingal, same thing again.
- Ride another one, same thing again.
- Ride another one but this time you can't return 4 or put BBS on your VC and you don't get the skill.

However, you may attack as it has nothing to do with legion.
