I'm trying to find a clan that suits me play style of a very good offence and a solid defense (if the clan exists)

You dont choose a main clan because it has the strongest Units in it, but because it piqued your interest the most

Depends on your definition of both "offense" and "defense". Offense can be offensive pressure, dominate control, or huge power lanes, or a mix of them. Defense can be the same kind of control (as displayed by Lock as a mechanic) or having hefty guard potential.
Most of the United Sanctuary covers both of those bases, usually being more solidly designed clans (Angels not included). Dragon Empire also fits for a more offensive control style, with Murakumo hinging more heavily on defense. There's also Neo Nectar, which creates gigantic power lanes, and has consistent field setups. That setup consistency will let you keep hand more often for defense.

If i may suggest, try Royal Paladin. However since not everyone might love RP, i suggest you to maybe watch some matches, see how the players' decks play out and then pick the clan ( after watching those games ) that interests you the most. More importantly, don't stick to one clan, who knows that other clan might suit you even more.

The deck you're looking for is a moderate offense type which is able to hold out until the end game (given you've an end game). The decks that fit the description are mainly Jewel Knights, who have a good consistency in both; Gold Paladins, in case you're good with deck combination; Oracle Think Tank, which angles more to defense with steady field and moderately well offense.
However, if you want something a tad more aggressive, there are:
- Seekers - prioritized early game setup which stacks up defense at first, later turning it into a maximum output (example being Thing Saver Dragon)
- Regalia - slightly different in early game, setting up for Legion turns and potential Minerva stand (offensive soul control)
- Revenger - Can go both ways, RPBA is the aggressive variant, but it can easily switch to moderate attack, depending on build, but I'd wait for the Legend deck before entering Shaladin waters if I were you.
- Nectar Maidens - Highly technical mid-game, massive power output late game with good hand balance and excellent field advantage. Same goes for Musketeers, only Musketeers tend to get complicated if you don't have the games in your head and plan ahead.
- Great Nature - If you want massive power on your turn and more than decent defense on your opponent's, this is the deck for you. Reaching 21k+ columns is easy at a slight disadvantage being the immense ammount of circular skills which tend to end in mistakes, but with combination of technical support, you can enter a 2^n hand rate per end phase if played correctly, which brings you to a massive hand advantage during your opponent's turn.
Now, if you're a beginner, I suggest you start with Royal Paladins, be it JK, Seeker or even Altomile (which is a bit different as it bases on more heavy attacks rather than hand advantage). However, if you think you're ready to wear your thinking cap, Great Nature w/ Stride is your deal.

in truth that any deck if build well enough can balance out defence and offense.
in this game your playstyle also counts depending when you want to guard and use a card.
in the end you can try every clan out there but it all depends on what stratigy and style you will be using in your fights.
i say try the clans you like the most and if you feel its the right one then work with it.

Besides of all the suggestions above, you can also look around the forum in the card strategy discussion and deck discussion to give you a general idea about several different decks!!
Good luck with your deck building and have fun cardfighting!!

All of the United Sanctuary because all of them is lots of offense and defense but slighty low in the strategy .. But if you want more offense and defense i give you Oracle Think Tank because OTT earning cards from the hand.

Every clan is good in their own way, one of the things i really like about vanguard is how every clan has a unique trait that leads them to victory. id say watch the show so you get a good idea for every clan and their play styles.
