Cardfight!! Vanguard Grade System

Within the episodes of Cardfight Vanguard G we see many card fighters with different grades and levels of skills. Some grades are only allowed to join certain tournaments and higher grades become leaders of their field. I propose that we make a system for Cardfight Area where we have a exp system which will give the Card Fighter who ever she/he might be to become the best they can be. Within the show the highest Grade we see is a Grade 7 who was Jamie that uses Aqua Force. He is something we can do for this to work. A moderator maybe two or three will supervise this and when events are over the exp they earned will be given to the winner and to the participants.


You start off as a Grade 0 and must get enough experience to become a Grade 1and so on and so on.

Here is a way that we could do it.
Card Fighters with Grade 0 will need 750 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 1.

Card Fighters with Grade 1 will need 1500 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 2.

Card Fighters with Grade 2 will need 4500 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 3.

Card Fighters with Grade 3 will need 10000 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 4.

Card Fighters with Grade 4 will need 11500 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 5.

Card Fighters with Grade 5 will need 14500 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 6.

Card Fighters with Grade 6 will need 20000 exp to get to the next grade which is Grade 7.

A system that we could add on profiles are the person’s Grade and only make it where a Moderator can change the exp for the person after the event or Tournament. The higher the Grade you become will become difficult. I can’t blame you for thinking that but it will be fun Card fighting your peers in a all out showdown to see the best of the best. We could make a certain area only accessible for people within the event just as you have people at clubs letting or denying people access of entry. I know that this will work and will be fun for many of our members within Cardfight Area.

pish while i understand an applaud you for your ingenuity, this basically translates to ranking system and same with the karma points and what not it could go out of hand at times.

Personall I think it would be great to have a grade system(ranking) it seems fun, and im sure alot of other players(competitive ones) would enjoy. It could be used to determine alot of things for example: fight with players of same lvl, determine entry into a team, and as stated above tournaments. If their are detail rules established, I think it can be kept completely under control.

isn't it disadvantegous for People that aren't new to vanguard but new to CFA if such a Thing would be introduced. And isn't it bad to not allow People to join tournaments just because their Grade isn't high enough?

As long as it isn't something that every player MUST have, and the ranking is only for those who agreed to register to said event, i don't see the problem.

As Patrick stated above it does not have to be for every player, and their will of course be tournaments for new players. You can also use the system in a variety of other ways. I just think it would be fun xD.

we could use it like my team uses the crucible right ? and optional even in which it will take place for a certain amount of time then after that time reset it.

what sirvat said is logical but there will surely be disscrimination among other players if this becomes a ranking system type thing.

I agree with the rating system, in the sense that people will know which players to fight that match their grade, so you'll rarely having 'newbie stomping' and all that and they can get better by fighting peeps their own experience level(s). That being said I assume everyone's starting out at Zero.. right?

I think the people want elitism. Even if they won't say it outright, that's what I believe.

I would also like this to be implemented so that we can record the results from this to have as either a stepping stone or a ceiling.

I mean the grade system is quite interesting but how are they going to do that with existing players.
