"E-Eh..." That's weird. Yukino always answers her cell phone. Especially for Haruka.

"I'll just... call her again..." Haruka went to press the button.

Don't.

This wasn't that Haruka wouldn't. He no longer could. Sera was in control of his body, and Haruka was unable to call again. All he could do was sit.

What's wrong? Shouldn't I just check on her? Maybe I could go look for her? I sort want to see Yukino anyways-

"Don't."

That phone call was never going to be picked up and Sera knew that. He knew that if Haruka wanted to preserve the happiness he's had for the past week, if he wanted to be able to keep fighting, he'd have to let go of everything.

...

That circumstance changed rather quickly, as he got a call.

Buzzzzzz-


"Hello?" Haruka got control of the body just in time to answer. He didn't recognize the caller ID however.

[Beryl]

"It's Satoshi. The butler looked up your mobile for me. I've been trying to get it from Yukino, but she doesn't really respond to my texts."

He bit his lip. "Speaking of...get to King Europe's Construction Site. Now. Not later. Not eventually. Right now."

He hung up, still looking up and racking his brain, trying to figure out what to do.

[Cherry]

Dad Espoir was on his way via highspeed limousine.


"Ah..." A deranged joy was conceived when the silent world was suddenly given sound. An audience for the queen's requiem, "how beautiful". Sweet madness corroded her mind, blocking out the voices of the workers and the boy who was climbing his way up. Ezel's roars were faint, but noticeable. Yet, she could not bring herself to bring him down any longer. Smiling through the bliss, her guardian lion would finally be free from the shackles of her misery. No more would he have to protect the one with no future.

Still, she hesitated.

Not because she had second thoughts. No, because this wind was marvelous. How the delightful caressing of death's gales - the reaper's fondling soothed her soul. This child would be given a relaxing bed in the afterlife, because she has earned it after making the decision to liberate everyone from her own sins. A release of gravity that would uplift the many with the end of one.

Yes...

She took her time enjoying the gentle breeze, as if it were a lullaby.

[Jello]

"... Okay. On my way-" Haruka cuts the call as soon as he throws on his scarf and starts a mad-dash to the construction site. Despite Sera attempting to restrict his movement, Haruka find himself at mach speed.

He reaches there in a reasonable 6 minutes. It's normally a 15 minute walk but having caffeine pumping through your veins day and night sort of gives you a boost.

It only took a second to look up and for Haruka's face to morph into one of concern. He gulped and moved to Satoshi's side. He wasn't too far off, standing with Cero, who actually owned this property.

"Yeah.. I can see what you mean." Haruka moved his scarf over his face, covering himself. It was cold out tonight, but if he were to cry any tears today, he didn't want people to see. Such a silly caution, when he should be trying to bring his beloved from down there. If only he was actually capable of such a feat. He didn't even know how the hell she got up there, let alone wanted to be. He pocketed his hands and turned to his accompaniment.

"Tell me one of you have a plan." Haruka's fiery gaze turns down into an icy glare. He checks out with Cero first, being the property owner, and Satoshi second, considering Haruka would've  been none the wiser had he not gotten that last second call from him.

[Killa]

Makuto was walking by the Construction Site, trying to avoid causing trouble but still gazing at the hard working construction workers. One of his dreams was to become tall, buff and do manly things like drink and stuff. He quickly noticed Haruka running across the Site, stopping by some people. He decided to approach him as he looked pretty worried.

"Hello Haruka, Its been a while. What's up... you look upset." he said as he was trying to avoid eye contact with the rest of the guys.

[Jello]

"Makuto..." Haruka turned to face the man he had last seen at the train station. That fight was Amon vs. The End. It was also the last fight he had with Overlord before the battle with Neu and promptly losing Overlord.

But this didn't faze him. Not even a little bit. He turned over to him and clasped his shoulder for a moment.

"Good to have you here. Except not under these... circumstances." He returns his gaze to Yukino, gritting his teeth. He needed to act fast. Faster than everyone else. They were staring, asking her dumb questions. Was anybody even really trying?

He ran to the back of the crowd, keeping his eyes on Yukino. Haruka trips several times before arriving at about eyesight level to the beam. If she even looks forward, he's in clear view.

Good thing he picked a golden scarf for this... event. It gleams pretty well.

He sucks in air. But... nothing comes out.

Once more.

Natta.

C'mon... Why won't it come out...

One more time. Come on, just one more time!

"Haaaaaaaaa......"


"YUUUUUKIIIIINOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Out of breath, he holds himself up on his knees. He screamed that out for a good nine seconds. Sadly, Haruka's efforts might have been in vain once more.

Satoshi didn't really know what to say. Yukino had made a choice, a choice that may or may not have coincided with her destiny. He didn't really know what her future held, and if an attempt at death was what she was looking into...

His phone buzzed. He checked it. It was a text from the name "Espoir Residence."

Mr. Espoir is inbound. Please look alive.

He gave a slight smile as he put away his phone and turned to Haruka, who had shouted out, trying to get his love's attention. He pat his shoulder. "Have you ever wanted to see how the father lion tends to his cubs when they try to break from the pride that is their family?"

[Cherry]

The wind turned violent, rattling her ears - her musical lulling, destroying the harmony born from the insanity of this decision. It was her beloved's voice, equaling the shattering roar of Ezel. Looking down at the crowd, that maddening bliss was replaced with hysteria. Yukino began panicking, but kept from screaming. Emotions became more mixed, she wanted to get down to safety. At the same time, said "safety" she wanted was down to a grave. Seeing Haruka here boggled her mind for a moment, trying to comprehend that he wanted her to just come down. No, that couldn't be it, she had failed Haruka as much as everyone else. He'd probably be happy...

Dad Espoir rolled out of the limo as it sped off, standing erect in the face of the situation. For once, the lion was sweating. He earnestly didn't believe his child would be drowning to the point of the end.

[Kisaragi Zane]

"Yukino, don't do it! Life is worth living!"

From out of no where, the blue eyes of Jellal Kisaragi, stay gazing at Yukino. The blonde hair boy was out of breath, gasping for air from running and using the last of his breath to let his presence known.

[Spectre Diamond]

While driving around on his motorcyle Hikaru Heard a familiar voice from above. Stopping himself from going any further. parking on the side and looked around to see where the voice was coming from. Hikaru took off his helmet and scooted off from his grayish black motorcycle and found to see 2 figures on top of the constructed building. "What the heck is going on up there?....

The wind was blowing dense, Makuto could barely keep his head straight as the wind kept hitting his face. Even Haruka's words barely reached Makuto's ears, but he heard the thing that mattered most. He looked straight up only to see Yukino on a beam. The image was shocking. What business would she have on top of a beam. Then he heard another scream, this time from a blonde boy. It took Makuto a moment to understand the situation. Yukino was actually attempting to suicide. Makuto panicked, so many questions went through his head. What lead her to that thought. The last time Makuto saw her, she looked happy. Makuto genuinely thought he made her smile, but now he realised it was fake. And now here she is on a life or death situation. He wasn't pleased one bit. His actions weren't enough to stop this moment from happening. He couldn't stand there doing nothing. He climbed to the platform that Haruka was standing on.

"Yukino, relax and don't do anything crazy! People are here for you."

Akuma avoided getting in Makuto's way this time, he believed in Makuto's inner strenght.

Tsubasa was on his way back home until he noticed some commotion happening at the construction site, intrigued he sprinted towards the area to inspect the situation. He was unprepared for what he saw, Yukino appeared to be attempting suicide at the site and everyone was trying their hardest to stop her from doing it.

"...No way...YOU'RE STRONGER THAN THIS!!!" he yelled with all his might. "YUKINO!!! IS THIS REALLY HOW YOU INTEND ON SOLVING THINGS, BY GIVING UP??!"

"...Just what came over her.." he thought. "DON'T DO IT!!!" he shouted.

Neo was walking through the construction site and he realized the big crowd surrounding it. Then realized Yukino was at the top of it.

"Yukino!" Neo said.

He ran toward the building and yelled out:

"Yukino! Its never worth it to take your own life. Sure life is hard, life is diffucult. Life was never meant to be easy but its what makes us stronger! I know everything with Vanguard has been hard, its been hard on all of us but you should never give up! You keep fighting intil your last breath!" Neo screamed out.

He looked a bit more closely at the person before the young man's eyes widen from shock. He took a few more steps just in front of the building to see if his eyes were playing tricks on him.

"Wait, that girl it's...the Chosen sword." He thought as he remembers the conversation with Jellal on Chosen Swords real name, Yukino. The girl in question was over the edge in wanting to end her life.

"Hey! Chosen Sword you think that throwing your life away is going to make everything better!? That's just taking the easy way out! I may not know you as well but I know that this isn't you. 

Hikaru then caught himself from his passionate spur. He normally isn't like this but it felt surprisingly good, but he didn't have time to for this, because he had to see this through and at least make sure she's alright.

  While everyone else had just been in awe, afraid, or shouting, Cero made his decision.  He took the elevator straight up to the top floor where Yukino was.  When he reached the top floor, he dashed, turned Yukino around, and grabbed her by the shoulder.  Raising his other hand, Cero glared at the broken shell that was once his rival.  He wasn't going to let go, no matter how much Yukino tried to struggle.

"I can't believe someone like you was ever able to defeat me," he said, glaring with the intensity of lightning.  With this, he took his raised hand and smacked Yukino.  "Wake up, you fool!"
