"It's fine, there wouldn't be a purpose to this building if human-kind, and by extension Vanguard, were wiped out." Cero took the elevator back to his floor, and silently hoped Yugure wouldn't look over too much security footage. He was unsure what would happen to Hana if Yugure saw the footage he had from the day this building had opened.

Yugure proceeded to bark orders, setting up the entire floor as their domain. The intelligence division found itself fascinated with their new bounds of limits. A call to Father Espoir was made to confirm the plan worked in getting a more suitable Headquarters. After that, the woman found herself contemplating, leaning against a wall while everyone handled themselves. Not just plans, but how everyone was doing on their trip as well. Giving a sigh, it was obvious she missed her friends, boyfriend, and sister. Having the paladins around were a relief, yet, perhaps it was a greedy, selfish part that wanted more.
Ahmes told her its natural to enjoy having friends around.
The girl put herself down too much to accept that as fact. Work needed to be done so no worries were left when everyone returned. A next course of action could be to deal with one of the rival gangs Hikaru needed dealt with.

It had begun. Cero was in one of the observation rooms, when he saw them. The Reverse units, with the power of Lock. This had to have been what Yugure meant. Every time someone with a Reverse card defeated someone without one, the loser gained one. He hadn't seen anyone be capable of defeating one of the Reverse cards, as if the act of merely having the card vastly increased the fighter's skill. He frowned, remembering Yugure's advice. She said to focus on surviving, not winning, but just seeing the power of this Reverse had Cero shaking in anticipation. He descended from the observation room and entered the floor with the highest concentration of Reverse fighters.
"All of you with the power known as Reverse, come at me!" He shouted his challenge, and a horde of fighters with an ominous glint in their eyes turned towards the man known as Europe's King of Vanguard. They had no doubts he was strong, and several abandoned their current opponents in favour of the King. Cero looked down at this abomination, taking out both of his decks. Eradicators and Liberators. He prepared to fight each and every one of these fighters, grinning in anticipation of the challenge he hoped to face.

It had been hours... Hours spent cardfighting multiple opponents at once, without any breaks. Every time Cero defeated one fighter, it was as if two more got in line. There was no end to them, and every fight was exhausting. Although at first it had been fairly simple, the fatigue was getting to him. He was barely winning each fight now, but he couldn't leave. He had learned that defeating one of the Reverse fighters caused their card to disappear, along with the malicious intent they had. Every fighter that didn't have a Reverse unit was told to evacuate, leaving Cero as the only person on the floor, maybe even in the building, capable of fighting them off. At this rate, it was only a matter of time before he himself fell. Panting, Cero stared out at the number of fights that were still Reversed. He had barely made a dent in their numbers... How did they manage to get this plentiful in such a short amount of time!? Rising back up, Cero readied his Eradicators. He would remain defiant until the very end, with the soul of Vermillion and the power of Dragonic Descendant on his side.

"What a pain..." She breathed heavily as she conjured four panels once again, one for each deck and fought through the fighters along the Cardfight Training Area. After a few rounds, she ran through the outside area and into the building itself. Their numbers were endless, but that was to be expected, especially with the function of this place. A large concentrated number of fighters here were no surprise, more or less, it was expected.
"We have to keep at it..." Hana said as she pushed through the numbers of fighters.
"Don't push yourself..." Meer warned.
Eventually, she reached a room where she was able to distinguish an ally among the many enemies. "Screamo-kun!" She called out to him, as she pushed past the fighters and joined him in the battle, using her ability to once again conjure up the panels and use all four of her decks.

After the failed attempt at bringing Hana to his side, Darren needed time to recover. The situation was so bad that Daiyusha himself inflicted damage upon him, something that would never be able to happen twice. He spent the time hiding in the dark, observing the resistance to his salvation. All he wanted was to spread this power so that it could be used to battle the invaders who brought it here. Fighting fire with fire. Daiyusha told him this was the best way to save the world and there was no way he could be wrong, was there?
Hana's words still bothered him, the idea that power came through bonds. Daiyusha's words came to him next like a devil contradicting an angel. Daiyusha reminded him that he has no such bonds and that Hana's are many. There was truth to those words. It didn't matter now. He was watching the ones given his power battle. Watching them all... losing to that European Champion that Noel fought and defeated. Seeing this was making him doubt more. If this power was so great, why were these people defeating it? That didn't make sense at all.
Justice is not to be questioned... It is to be carried out, unconditionally...
Daiyusha spoke to him. Darren was becoming unsure, and the uncertainty caused his head to pulse in pain again as the Aura of his deck grew stronger.
We have come too far for you to be deceived by our enemies! You heard what the Princess said. We are their enemies until they come to our side. There is only one way that will happen...
Power...
Darren responded, marks appearing on his face to indicate he was further under the control of the Reverse.
Should it be that one first? The European Champion? His power increased by the Reverse would create a strong ally.
I agree... Perhaps adding his power to ours will help us to take the Princess.
I still don't understand how this is justice... forcing others to do these things against their will...
Justice is dictated by those with power! Only the strong can determine what is just! Our cause is to make everyone strong with that same power! How is that not justice?
Maybe... I'll trust you on this. You are the hero.
Darren stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself as he looked for Cero.
Cero, the European Champion! If you are here, I challenge you! You said you were powerful, so come and show me what you can do!

Cero was running out of strength... He was on the verge of fainting, yet he continued to fight. Hope and time were running out, and darkness was taking over. However, mere moments before Cero was prepared to accept his fate, he heard someone shout a name he hadn't heard in a long time. Hana! Cero's eyes shot wide open in surprise. How did she manage to even get into the building, let alone make it here? And how was she making those panels? Time for questions later. Time for fighting now.
"I've been at this for hours, I can't keep it up... We have to fall back!" As much as it disdained him, he had to admit it. There would be no point in falling here, they had to get out. There was only one way he could see, the elevator. Going down would just lead to a trap, so they had to go up and get out a different way. "Over there, we'll take the elevator to the ground floor!" Cero pointed towards it, deliberately lying so the enemy wouldn't know that his actual plan was to use the horse to escape.

Darren sighed as he realized that Cero was going to run. For everything he spoke about being so strong, he was running now. It was a sign that this was correct. Even if the invaders were powerful, sending enough waves of Reversed fighters at them would be enough to wear them down. It reaffirmed his belief in Daiyusha, that he had to have been right from the start.
Anyone who fights alone has limits. Through the Reverse we can all unite as one large Justice League, and that is how the invaders will fall.
Exactly so... which is why we need more. This isn't nearly enough yet.
Darren kept thinking about his friends at the Cardfight Club. They didn't need this dark power to come together. They just did. Compared to that, there was no fun in this at all. However, there were more important things than fun on the line here. All of humanity, the fate of two worlds... it all depended on the outcome of this battle. Darren still believed he was on the right side, the one that actually had a chance of winning against the one he faced that day.
Without another word, Darren turned and left the Training Area, leaving the remaining Reverse Fighters to do as he pleased. Darren may have been the one to create these, but he was no general. He was a lone Dark Hero on the only path that could save the world. At least that was what his unit told him.

Reclaiming this place would have to wait until later it seemed. Isabella walked off, wondering if Cero had made it out as well seeing as how escaping to get some rest was his idea in the first place. She looked like a mess now, and surely she wasn't looking forward to tomorrow all in all. The world was falling apart as it seems and it wasn't looking pretty. She would have to fight again on this coming day. May as well enjoy the small amount of rest that she's getting. She fixed her hat and lined up the rims with her head as she walked back home to get some sleep in order to prepare for the next day.

Although he had gotten separated from Hana, Cero managed to reach the elevator, and by extension the top floor, though just barely. Upon exiting the elevator, he managed to walk to a couch and proceeded to faint. He regained consciousness several hours later, to find himself alone. He took to the roof, and pressed the button to call his horse. Riding his horse down the building, he took off toward the Espoir mansion to warn Yugure that the base had been compromised.

After the Training Area had been cleared of everyone but the remaining Reverse Fighters, Darren returned to the area. He grinned as he looked around. This place was perfect for him. Every Hero needed a secret base of operations. A place where he could prepare for his biggest battles and do all that he needed to do, and a place to oversee his League of Justice as they continued their mission.
Darren sat down in a chair, looking at his deck as he looked at Dark Daiyusha specifically.
The time has come to strengthen me moreso than before...
What can even be done to do that? You are already powerful.
There is no need for Daikaiser here. It will be much faster to use other units. Destroy it...
Darren looked at the Daikaiser units, feeling his heart break just from the thought of doing it. He set the cards down and said,
"No... I can't do that... Not to him of all units!
The Dark Daiyusha units started to glow and spoke to him again.
Weakness is criminal... We heroes are to stop all criminal activity we can. Weakness within yourself is not allowed.
His body started to glow as he held his head. The symbols around his eyes started to flash as he yelled out in pain.
"AHHH! I WON'T DO IT! I WON'T DESTROY DAIKAISER!"
The glow started to subside. Daiyusha knew this was the best host he had. Darren had so willingly let him in before now. He couldn't afford to lose that.
Very well... If he is to remain then there are other ways to strengthen me. Find the card reserves in this place. It would have spares. We will borrow them for now.
That sounds like stealing... Heroes don't...
WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT QUESTIONING ME?!
....Very well...
Darren stood up, the markings on his eyes returning as he went to find any reserve cards in the area meant to help people modify their decks and make them as strong as possible. His goal was to make the ultimate deck for his avatar
Daik
.... Dark Daiyusha.

The reverse worked like a domino effect, the strongest would be taken first, the the weak would be converted in large numbers. The plan here was to get right to the source, the one that caused the black ring which now loomed over the buulding of the Cardfight Training Area. The ring marked a powerful presence of the invader's power and yesterday she encountered it twice.
Darren was within the facility and was needed to be stopped before getting to the other fighters, otherwise he would simply be able to take them back. He wasn't going to get away this time. Hana was wearing a black hat, lined with a white trim along its rim and it was donned with a red rose. She wore her school uniform despite the day being cancelled due to this whole situation.
Reversed fighters scattered around the entrance, and the rest inside used video feeds from the cameras to spot anyone else who tried to get inside. This was their fortress, and all of them were guards whom were protecting it. Hana had to get past them in order to reach the objective and end the influence in this area. She came along with a few other reinforcements, among them being Alpha and Beta. The idea was for her to conserve energy and get to the objective with the least amount of losses. She did worry for those whom she brought with her.
Rushing in, the fights began. She ended them quickly and along with her guards she continued onwards to the building. By using her power to manipulate the particles of light within the facility, the cameras that were on them ceased to function and thus they were unable to be seen by the other reverse fighters, keeping the fighting to a minimum.
She kept going on and on.

Darren saw the message that Hana had sent out to all the members of the Cardfight Club.
"Alright so you all probably know about what's been going on. I'm sending this out to see who hasn't been taken into the invader's hands yet. We have to meet up. On my way to go take Darren back. Respond if you can. - Hana Isabella Espoir "
She had to have known that he would see it. Obviously this was some sort of challenge. Darren wouldn't disappoint. Daiyusha knew and so did he, it was time to finish what he started with her. He sent her a reply.
"If you want to finish this, I am at the Cardfight Training Area. I've made it my base so it should be the perfect place to end this.
-Darren
He was confident that this time he would be able to win. She couldn't be that much stronger than Daiyusha was now. His power and plan was all that could save this world, not Hana.
As he sent it, he noticed activity. A small grin arose from Darren as he simply said,
"The best kind of delivery I could hope for... Our many numbers will slow her down so I can finish the job."
Should we really need to do that?
Darren thought.
No need to take chances... A hero needs to use all of his resources,
the Reversed hero responded.

"Espoir?! I had a feeling you would know something about this... wait... Darren is one of them?! And Seifer is unconscious with a red mark on his right eye, probably fighting back whatever is trying to take over and Tsubasa just fought a Granblue fighter with red markings as well and was glowing black and red! He told me a little of what is going on... where do you want to meet up?"

"So there's a bunch there too. Ugh. I trust in your guy's strengths. Just work together like in the camping trip. The red and black is well... That's parts of the enemy's power. Anyone who falls to them gets it. If you guys are grouped up we can just meet there tonight once I get Darren. - Hana Isabella Espoir
The message that Darren sent confirmed it. She fought on, using her star gazing power to scan across the building for him. It seems that the numbers of reversed fighters were somehow thickening.
"How did they find us!?" Hana hopped back, preparing her deck.
"Let's dance beautifully." Star Rain said.
"I'll take the lead." Minette pushed forward.
