Haruka stood there, hands on his hips. The scarf was making a bit too much noise in the breeze, but he didn't bother with it. He took the last bite of his ice cream, and finally opened his mouth.
But nothing came out at first. Everything he wanted to say disappeared for a moment. Was it the right time to bring up that kind of past? Well, if he never did, they would never comprehend why he appreciates this moment more than anything.
"I-uhm. Sorry, this is kind of personal... I-I uh." He scratched his chin, trying to keep a decent disposition. Didn't wanna make this a sob fest after all. Cut to the chase.
"When I was young, I lost my family. My parents I mean. I was at too young of an age to make friends really, and it wasn't until I moved in with my Uncle and Aunt I figured out about a lot of stuff. Like, the normal things teenagers do. But then..." Haruka's face was one of emotion. He was trying hard to keep everything straight and to the point.
"I met you guys. That happened, uh. Wow I suck with words." Haruka just looked up. It's easier to talk to the sky. Less fear of judgement.
"You guys rock, you know? It's hard to explain really. I didn't have friends, or siblings, or much of a childhood. I grew up too fast, as they say. But that's okay. I'm okay now." Haruka took one deep breath, and let it all out, slowly.
"Now that we have that out of the way, you can understand when I say that, I appreciate this a lot guys. And trust me, I forgive both of you guys for making my life a living hell yesterday. Just know I won't be so forgiving next time." Haruka's grin returns with more fervor than before. The wind picks up right on cue, making Haruka's scarf become that of a flag almost.
"Satoshi, you're a great guy who is so damn honest it hurts sometimes. Yukino, you're a great girl with only the best intentions when solving her problems. Bad at solving those problems, maybe. But... that's besides the point." Haruka takes one last chug of his soda and puts in the sand next to him. He looks Satoshi in the eyes. Then Yukino. Then the sky.
"I don't know why I'm saying this now, but, I don't think I'll ever forget you guys." Haruka means this.
I mean this. I mean every bit of it.

"What was that?!" The ticked off queen retorted Haruka's bit about her being bad at solving problems. If this wasn't an emotional moment, she'd bash his skull in. In fact, even if it is one, she's about ready to knock his teeth out. This was so stupid... Haruka's never going to forget them? Of course he wasn't, Yukino wouldn't let him! No, none of them were going to forget each other with this bond they've conceived. They're all of each others first friends - each other's best friends. Long ponytail fluttering with the wind, she looked off to the descending sun with a smile. Hearing the boys lay their hearts out made the girl feel even better than before. Satoshi's true feelings and Haruka's depressing past, learning more about them made her feel closer to them.
Surely, they agreed Haruka truly did suck with words. But those words touched her heart.
A light chuckle of gratitude for getting the chance to meet them came from the snow woman.

Satoshi wiped away his tears. He was happy to have his friends back, that much was for sure. But...something else weighed on his mind, and he knew exactly what it was. He took out his deck and started looking through it. All of the changes Yukino recommended to him were there, and so far he had been successful with them, so he owed it to her to---
That's right. He wanted to face her again, now that they were both stronger.
He looked up to her and grinned. "Well, now that you're better...I made some changes, and I wanna see how they stack up now that you're, y'know, better. Sound good?" He took her by the arm and jerked his head to the direction of cardfight tables that were apparently installed at the beach at some point to Haruka.
Something felt different about her even still, but it was a good different. A resolved different. He wanted to see it for himself.

"A fight...? ... Sure, having the type of fight that I enjoyed that day at Card Capital and our sleepover..." Yukino reminisced. The Vanguard that she came to grow with was the one she learned to have fun with - the one that wasn't a tool to justify destiny. Ahmes and Yunos were ready, the swords of Courage and Resolution braced for battle. Having adjusted her deck for this miracle of blasters, she took it out. Approaching the table and placing her heels down on it instead of sitting them in the sand.

A sudden murderous aura closed over the Ice Queen. "Hey, hey, you know I don't mean it, eh?" Haruka laughed, chasing the two down to the fight tables at the far side of the beach. Running in the sand made him feel like a little kid, chasing after the waves with his friends, or searching for seashells. They were doing neither of those, but it felt just as great.
He wanted to see this fight in action. A true battle between them. This was something he had kind of hoped would happen since they got here. And now he got to see it all, bathed in the sunset glow.
"Alright guys. Make this good! We're running out of daylight." Haruka had a dumb smirk on his face from ear to ear. "Make this great." he murmured out.

The sixth damage hit the table in the form of Iris Knight. Yukino had definitely done it, once again, and had defeated Satoshi with her new Royals. It was just as fun as the very first game they played, and it showed off what both of them were especially good at when it came to Vanguard.
He scooped his cards off the table and reset them in their box. Yeah, he was back to being second best again in their triad. But the triad was back, he was absolutely certain of this. He smiled as he walked around the table and hugged her close and tight. Despite her rejection of becoming something romantic, it didn't matter, because even so...he still felt the same. That meant he learned something new once again. This wasn't romantic love...it was friendly love.
"I love you. Both of you." He motioned Haruka to join the hug. He really did. He knew now. He definitely loved them both.
Satoshi Kurosaki and Yukino Espoir are no longer sealed from each other affinity-wise.

The game began in Satoshi's favor, with Yukino amassing six grade 3 units in hand by her second turn. Even so, she pressed on. The queen proved that she was reborn anew with a satisfactory answer - as "Yugure". The Chosen Sword of Twilight worked with the heavy disadvantage, riding Blaster Blade, and with Wingal Brave's skill... Yunos was revealed. A new deck built based on these two fated coming together. Yunos' blade in Ahmes' hands... armor was properly created for the hero of light.
Two desires shall clash together; A power shall be born of the two.
Sporting darkened, but larger amounts of armor with a massive energy sword... A flame of passion burning overhead, standing proud, Majesty Lord Blaster entered the fray. The Ahmes who had accepted the will of his brother in arms evolved to surpass despair. Even if it was a simple display of his newfound might, there was no mercy for the gardeners and wildlife of Cray. In the midst of battle, Satoshi laid his feelings for Yukino on the table. ... Much to his surprise, it was rather bloody obvious. Instead of giving him a direct answer, the queen let this hero of counterattack speak for her.
This moment intertwines our destinies, so let us take to the skies. The flame in our hearts will burn away the darkness, this
miraculous power
will descend here.
With a single Critical Trigger, Majesty Lord Blaster forced Satoshi's earlygame advantage of holding himself at two damage to five. A clear rejection emphasized by the deck's possessiveness of their queen and his lack of a single damage trigger. She was oddly proud of how she rejected him... Though, Satoshi saw this coming anyway, he states. Content with the decision of his "Snow Flower", he received a rather harsh Critical whenever he gave his feelings toward her. Maybe Yunos was the one who was the most displeased with this...
Soul Saver's grand return rallied the hopes of the previously devastated holy knights. Hope refilling the hearts of heroes - even the renegade - who believed that they had failed... They kept believing they could fix things, but only now in this moment did the hopelessness vanish completely.
This moment intertwines our destinies, so let us take to the skies. The flame in our hearts will burn away the darkness, this
miraculous power
will descend here. All of fate begins to move, unable to be stopped until the end. With this
reclaimed faith
, this
miraculous power
will descend here.
The fate between Yugure and Jellal was not one that could be stopped, but it was this fate where the the cycle of karma and sorrow end. The Blasters marched gallantly onto the battlefield toward the evolved Dragon of Hell on Cray, as did all of Royal Paladin. Yukino accepted the hug from Satoshi after her victory, and gazed upon Haruka with wishful eyes for him to join them.
This triad was seeing the end together.

Haruka was pretty astounded at the results of what just happened. A confession? And rejection? Well. Haruka was right about one thing. Ignoring those sorts of emotions was probably smart. He didn't want to face the same fate as his friend here. Instead, he simply rolls his eyes and joins the hug. He gulps, feeling a tremor. His pocket starts to burn up.
"My Vanguard, Haru. The battle has begun. The Royal Paladins and Shadow Paladins have met at a front and neither seem to be backing down. The End, is near."
Nice pun, Overlord. Time to get serious.
"Alright, alright, cool stuff guys. Good fight. And, er, Summer Sun? At least think of something cooler please." Haruka cracks his neck, as the wind starts to blow harder. The night sky is all-encompassing at this point, only moonlight left.
I thought I had more time. Well. It's now or never.
"Yuki... Something doesn't feel right here."
Yuki? That's new. Hmm, it's cute. Stick with it.
Haruka shakes his head, clearing it all out. Overlord must be hardcore stressing out considering Haruka wasn't even in a Cardfight and the deck was burning hot.

Seph had also joined in on the hug, reminding the three that they were being watched over by Cray as well. After a short moment, he backed off.
"Satoshi. It's time for her to do it."
The boy thought for a moment, then nodded. "Right. Jellal." He pat Yukino on the back. "Knock 'em a new one for me, y'hear?" He laughed.

The soothing sound of the ocean brushing up against the gentle sand. A small breeze was summoned, pushing the ocean waters ever so closer. The voices of a small handful of people echoed into the ears of the blonde/mixed fighter who sat on a bench, relaxed or attempting to. It was Jellal as he stared into the ocean with his usual attire, expression included. His eyes matched the midnight sky as the white moon had illuminated him. As he got up off the log, he took a few steps away from the beach until he saw 3 shadows grouped in their own confinement. The blonde hair boy was curious as one of them had long white hair.
"Could it be...?" He approached the 3 shadows, slowly bringing them and his suspicions to life. He saw who appeared to be the chosen one: Hikari accompanied by two individuals he had not been familiar with. Regardless, these were his targets, the final obstacle towards him reaching his goal.
"Now, let's begin what I should've ended last time. I call forth the storm!" He commanded as the winds became more intense, his eyes full of determination. With a snap of his fingers, the wind calmed.
"Now let the world distort!"

The rift opened up and a large storm resulted.
The wind tore everything apart, the land, sea, and sky were cracked like glass. The world around them all shattered and they were spirited away into the rift.

Hazama sets up his chair and prepares to watch the sunset. He pulls out his deck "Hercules, I thank you for this deck, but I want to do better. No I need to better. If you can here me please heed my call."
A flash of light appears before me. This light does not fully resolve into what I hope it to be, but at least it is a sign of connection. The light fades into a small white orb in front of me. Then, it starts speaking. "Hazama I know you want to win, but you have to give it some time. You haven't fought in the past two months and you just did switch your clan, so you have to get some practice in. Like you said before, these opponents will be test fodder. I know you will not fail at your goals. I am right here beside you... Always."
The orb suddenly vanishes from existence upon this world. "He's right, I just need to give it some time, but I can still always proceed with my goals," Hazama says to himself.
With this new burst of confidence, he continues to watch the sunset.

So after hanging out with Neu and Haruki, Neo set off to the beach of all places.
"Looks like I have to find a place to stay again.." Neo said with a groan
Neo decided to just walk around the beach and keep walking intil something happened.

As part of Elizabeth's trip to see if everything really has changed, she first sets off to the beach. Knowing that the beach was her favorite place to go, she comes across an individual holding a deck of cards and proceeded to ask "Do you play Cardfight!! Vanguard!?" in which the stranger didn't reply to it, getting anxious about the answer, she proceeds to ask for a cardfight to know.

Alright then! If its a cardfight you want, its a cardfight you get!" Neo said to the girl.
Neo then takes out his portable vanguard table, puts his starter down and the carfight began!
