Conroe And Barcgal still cannot be your starting Vanguard.
Commander Laural is still at 1
Cat Butler is still at 2
Calamity Tower Wyvern is now unrestricted.

Holy Dragon, Sanctuary Guard Regalie and Jewel Knight, Swordmy are under consideration.

And I don't agree with Wyvern but everything else is being pushed harder so I can't say I'm surprised.
What do you guys think?

Lucius:
I am really against them going and considering to restrict SGD stride just because he is overused while they arent even giving a look at Abyss or Diablo. Swordmy i can understand he has been pretty much staple in 80% of RP decks but still Bushi isnt even showing a sign that they are going to restrict something of the most used clan of all :/

Cherry:
Of course Calamity Tower Wyvern is coming off the list, The X stopped doing anything months ago. The fact that Swordmy is on the "watchlist" greatly irritates me because it's been a problematic design for awhile now. They wanted to support Jewel Knights, and instead, supported every deck that could play Jewel Knight triggers (which is everything). Just errata it to requiring a Jewel Knight Vanguard, then slow down on giving Jewel Knights something stupid like a Grade 1 that gives a unit +10 for absolutely nothing.

Sanctuary Guard, naturally, is incredibly problematic. His design has little drawback, and with his massive numbers backed by heavy rush, along with major crit games... Then again, his deck wouldn't even be as consistent if it wasn't for the Jewel Knight variant. Which, again, is solved somewhat by making it so he cannot play it. Archer of the Sanctuary could've been a hint towards that, as he'd be a replacement. However, as it stands, he's just a weaker Swordmy that still works.

Abyss isn't going to be restricted. He isn't the problem - Revengers in their entirety are. Diablo is frustrating but it's still not as bad as a behemoth that +9s(or 12) his entire frontrow for just playing Swordmy, Archer, or Violinist.

Sandy:
I still don't understand how it's Swordmy's fault, finally the JK's get a card that everyone wants, then because they belch out a card that takes advantage of it, suddenly he might be restricted? What? I thought that's what their R&D department was for.... testing to broken/abuseable stuff, then again it took them how long into legion before they restricted laurel and cat butler?

Crystalia:
Swordmy is mainly a problem simply because it doesn't require a JK vanguard. Yes, it fits with the design of JKs not needing a JK vanguard, but it still becomes cancerous when every RP deck runs 4 swordmy, 4-6 JK g1 targets and JK trigs. He is arguablly the reason why Thing Saver stuck around as the most played RP build until not that long ago, and is part of the reason why SGD is stupid as well. Also Bushi's R&D department hardly has the best track record, some broken stuff was intentional, others might not have been.

With regards to the rest of the list, Regalie to 2 wouldn't hurt that much, but it might have some impact. Archer makes the non Jewel Knight variant for SGD actually viable, which generally trades in a turn of early power for a slightly better late game.

Calamity unrestricted makes sense, DOTX has been doing nothing in Japan really. Perhaps they should have hit something from Revengers, seeing as it's still the most played deck. Part of the problem is what to hit, Diablo? I mean sure Diablo can provide some of the most stupid cheat-wins in the game (if your opp happened to have multiple blaster darks/bdra's and manages to do it then you auto-lose quite often, and whilst it is bad card design, I still don't think hitting it to 2 would solve anything.
