Full guide coming soon. For now, a basic explanation.
Leader and Deletor has given Deletors what they need: answers. Solutions. Unable to counter Stride, nor given anything to lock it out, Deletors were made to focus on offensive momentum. The deck has a gratuitous amount of high speed. Not only that, but locks in this archetype don't feel random anymore. Though Eigorg and Ruchi are backrow locks, they are still powerful to make triangle locks, or hold down something threatening.
Draw Triggers have less merit. You're playing offensively, not defensively, and drawing boatloads with Dorohn and the Stand Trigger. The Stand Trigger is what replaces Draws. You call it and Girba. Edy draws a card when called, and boosts for 4000. "But 4000 sucks!" Who cares, your opponent's vanguard should almost always (preferably all except one turn) be deleted on zero power on your turns. 15000 is perfect against 0.
I'll touch Ruchi vs Igor more in the full guide. Basically, Deletors no longer care about excessive counterblasts, and I feel Ruchi adds onto both your strategies: locking down the opponent and banish deleting. Igor gives you a draw and fuels soul, however. Both are good choices. I took Ruchi because of Lock focus and not undermining Banish Delete.
Dorohn makes your earlygame stupid and can cycle through everything you need it to the entire game. Buwiru frontrow locks and gives your boosted frontrow pressure. It can also boost your Stand Trigger, since you'll still hit a safe 11000! Ganowek helps you with more draw power, and you'll be fueling soul a lot (just don't soul blast Graywon unless necessary). Ender vs Cosmolios depends on what you'd like to have access to. Ender gives you a skill that goes off once every ten million games, but also has a Deletor name (important). Cosmolios does not have a Deletor name, but gives you any extra Counter Charge power you would need (which can be clutch moments, and goes off more often than Ender).
Gwill locks for free, why wouldn't you try to take him? Giari adds to your front row hate, and will always be able to banish delete (since he'll banish delete his target if nothing else is in the drop zone), and puts himself at a safe 11 to be boosted with Girba or Edy to 15 on delete turns. The hands are gimmicky advantage. Alba is entirely advantageous, getting you a Superior Call for free, forcing your opponent to Superior Call (triggers!), and giving you a Counter Charge. Alba hits 11 and is safe like Giari. Problem is you can draw your Elros and you want some space. That, and Elro can be played around easily, along with Alba having an 8 base (gross ride).
I don't like Givun personally, though Evo could be squeezed in.
Graywon is the boss with one of the three best deletes, and heavy banish delete tactics. Graydoll has a soulblast cost for its delete, which is amazing, but is specific, which is less amazing. I personally don't like having 4, because if I don't have Graywon in soul, I can't delete. If I can't delete, I can't get started. Striding in the meantime is a choice but... The retire/banish delete while fueling self is nice. Grand even. Zwill is legion and easy delete.
Amnesty is for Link Joker mirrors. Judgment is first stride just to get it out of the way. Big Crunch is a safety to completely remove a lane while you horde resources. Eigorg is your main Stride. He's a Delete with Triple Drive which is the best part. Has a single banish delete and a backrow lock (ew), and is also gb2 (ewww). But has an automatic win condition that
should not always be ignored
. Just because it'll go off once every few years does not mean it won't happen. It is a
vital answer to a prolonged game
. So don't immediately stride your fourth one if you
cannot win
.
I might make tweaks to add Evo, but I'm very, very happy with this build in its theory. I haven't gotten to test it as much as desired, but I will, and that full guide is happening. Deletors are my second favorite deck in the game and I really, really want to try everything possible and make solidified builds. The Royals of Leader and Deletor were sort of a let down, but Deletors got a perfect end of the bargain.
