CFV Roleplay Headcount

Just something I've been wanting to do for awhile.



Plot/Setting:
    Everyday, the sunlight washes over the debris-filled wasteland that is Earth. The inhabitants dress up and walk outside of their homes to hunt for scraps and to do their menial labor. Retired warriors often sit inside makeshift bars, placing their Vanguards on the table as they talk about fights from many years ago. Musicians in tattered clothes sit alongside crevices with their light sounds echoing across towns and down into the abyss below. Laborers move robotically, and as if choreographed and would preform the same movement during the same time everyday. Whenever a few hours pass, the sunlight would disappear as a parabolic shape would take precedence and rule across the sky. The large black rings which circled the planet of Earth itself created shadows which imposed an authority, that the inhabitants would never again recover in order to rebel against their rulers, Link Joker.
    It is for many years that life continued in this humdrum manner, but in that time, many humans sold their bodies and souls to the enemy in exchange for success and power. Those who proved to be the strongest had risen to become dictators of mankind, living in luxury within towers built inside the world's capital, and commanding an army of fighters who watched over the towns, further preventing the possibility of an uprising.
   But it was on a fateful day that laborers had decided to roam freely and not come to work, the musicians echoed songs of joy, and the regulars at the bars leaped in celebration. It was on that same day that the old Vanguard cards began to glow once again. The fragments of the unit's souls which resided within had not yet completely given up. It was from this that a new era had began.


Set in a futuristic-dystopian setting, 150+ years after present-day and about 100 years after the world had ended.
Planet Cray does not exist in this universe and cards are fragments of souls which belonged to Vanguard units that fought alongside humans 100 years prior.

It is still happening. More people actually joined in than I expected so far which is very nice. I will post the discord chat link here when the rp is about to begin.
