Because it's new and a lot of folks want to try the new stuff. For me though? I made a promise to a friend, who is too into SP, he tried to get me to join 'the dark side' to which I told him, once they have either an all female option or a fantastic female ace, THEN I'd join him and since that's happened I'm sticking to my promise. Also witches? They're soooo awesome :D
--- End quote ---
No but like if you gonna complain about the clan than why join them
--- End quote ---
Because a clan is like a country, just because I dislike a part of the country doesn't mean I hate the WHOLE country. I don't really care for the revengers or their new clones the 'Abyss' peeps, but that doesn't mean I'll hate all of them, the witches for example, play completely different but still hold onto that kind of gothic theme while drawing upon the whole aspect of black magic and the more 'dark' side of witchcraft that so far we've only been shown by genesis that it's about fruits and animals.
--- End quote ---
So why not just keep it that way e.e
--- End quote ---
Keep what in what way?
--- End quote ---
Keep the Genesis with the witches and Shadows with the Dark Knights and Cursed Dragons
--- End quote ---
Because A) Shadow Paladin already had a few witches in them, so unless you wanna remove say Nemain, then it's already breaking it. Not to mention a clan is a collective of different people with different skills and different backgrounds, it'd be silly to assume that in order to win you'd what? Comprise your forces with nothing but knights with no long range capabilities and with all the same skill sets with not differences? Variety is the spice of life and allows us to cover weaknesses. I'm glad Bushi decided to go out on a limb and try a new 'non knight' archetype. The emo-knights were getting a little predictable.
--- End quote ---
No really all clans stick to what they do o.o

Umm.. yeah they were, in design and mechanics, not to mention BB kept on get reprints in whatever new 'thing' it was being pushed into archetype wise, which would just drag a lot of the same cards along for the ride, same cards/people new look/armor. At least with the witches they can't rely on that same old, same old, they have to try something new, with new mechanics. New stuff keeps games like this alive.

Exactly, but sometimes they need something new, sure some of the new archetypes are just the same 'core' mechanics with different nuances, but some of the others just borrow the clans name and do their own thing. Sometimes it's very slight and other times it's very noticeable.

That makes no sense clan should stick to what they do
WaiterFang:
Mother of quoting O.O
I'm kinda happy that bushiroad added more variation in shadow paladin, so most people aren't just using SP decks with similiar functions :P.
