Personality: A kind individual, seeking to aid others in the quests for their dreams instead of furthering her own agenda. Though her machinations lie undetected, Lux carefully plans for herself after giving comrades the boosts they need. However, in reality, she helps others for the sake of her own ego and to fuel her obsession with control. Despite her pleasant demeanor being genuine, a lust to control and conquer - everything will move because she orders such. People will breathe because she allows it. Many will eat when she gives permission. All will bow will she demands it. A leader who is constantly struggling with her conflicted nature to keep everything in her grasp, almost panicking when something is completely out of her control. In a way, because of this, Vanguard fills her with an unnatural freight, for she cannot control the luck factor of the game.

So one asks: "Why even play the game?" Any drive to do so comes from a contradicting excitement of handling that which is out of her control, and at the same time, the masses who love the game while its popularity thrives is a gateway to subjugate the masses.

It's no wonder she synchronizes with Link Joker so well.

Backstory: "I will control Cardfight Vanguard."

The sudden declaration to a group of extremists breaking the law by jumping back and forth between Earth and Virtual Cray was given by the "lord". Her vow shocked them for two reasons: one, it was not an announcement to dominate the game, but instead the people. Two, because this also stretched to Cray itself. At a young age, Luxanne was exposed to a dangerous organization which utilized "Data ARK" for their own gains, granting themselves an easy life through connections to their units and the ability to illegally bring their units into the world for crime. Naturally, she was molded by such repulsive behavior, becoming a criminal herself. However, growing up and obtaining knowledge through the flourishing technological era, she discovered a horrific truth. "These lowlives have no idea what they're doing or why." Money? Fame? Luxury? Thrills? It just came down to "I want something" for these crooks. "How wasteful." Lux believed, and began to adopt an egotistical mindset. The fools who stole and killed, who jumped back and forth between planets, those who used Vanguard as a means of satiating their hunger for absolutely nothing - they could all be used.

They were tools.

With a kind yet callous smile, the youth began plotting heists and terrorist-esque assaults. It was so, so easy to guide pieces that aimlessly ran about without a commanding shout. "Go that way." or "Do this." was all it took. What was her endgoal for it all? Nothing but the fulfilling achievement of knowing she could hold so much power over a band of losers and thugs. "We can't do this without you!" They would cry out when she feigned exhaustion, simply wanting to hear them beg her to lead. Her sense of justice was not twisted, knowing from the beginning it was all wrong - against the law. That wasn't the point, she was only using this for experience.

With such experience, two argumentative voices called out to her from another planet. One of holy, genuine warmth and the other cackling endlessly with wicked glee. The former believed in her ability to lead - controlling the masses for the better, she did not wish to continue aiding a group of terrorists and most likely wouldn't. The latter was ecstatic over her fetish to dominate, attracted to her unquenchable thirst to simply be in power. These two units formed her contradictory persona and gave her real goal - true ambition beyond playing with toys.

Bring two worlds under her heel, for the good of all or for the devilish satisfaction of herself.

Personality: Rita is often described by her peers as capricious. Her flighty nature often causes her to seem uninterested in the world around her, which she doesn't mind. It merely allows her to be eerily observant, noticing even slight shifts in how people act. Years of being a typical outsider (by choice) sh has an interest in what she calls the human condition. She enjoys seeing the intensity put into Vanguard by others, and watches them carefully, forever an analyzer. Her own goals are largely unknown to those around her, yet her connection to the Dragwizard Luard has not gone unnoticed by her peers. As it stands, she continues to move forward in her own secluded life, wandering almost aimlessly.

Her cool indifference rarely shatters, yet she has been known to become riled up in Vanguard fights. By and large she speaks negatively of Vanguard and those who play it, almost amused at the concept of the game and - as most quickly found out - mocking them inwardly. Despite this, she continues playing Vanguard when asked as though tied to the game, and regardless of her snide remarks, it is one of the rare times a true smile will creep up on her face. The only other time is when she wants something.

Background: "C'est la vie."

Hailing from Paris suburbs, Rita grew up in France with her friends and family, introduced at a young age to Vanguard. A gifted child at anything she tried her hand at, she quickly overtook her friends and became popular in her school for her Vanguard prowess combined with good grades and an athletic nature. At that time, she seemed truly happy with those around her and her life. Yet when she reached seven, her parents decided to move out against Rita's wishes to Japan in order to improve their career and expand their horizons. Due to the sudden uprooting of her tranquil life, Rita quickly became distant to those around her and unwilling to open up. She worries that she will have to leave any new friends she makes behind as she did in the past, and as such refuses to move past it. So instead, she passes the time studying, playing Vanguard impassively and wishing to go back.

Personality: A bundle of energy, and as cheerful as they come. Like most kids her age, she is fairly innocent. She sometimes feels lonely without her brother with her anymore. Despite this, she loved her brother and is glad he introduced her to vanguard. She often makes bad puns during fights that make no sense. Her most notable at the finals *Amarudy to go!*.

Backstory:
A young girl from Japan, her life started out fairly normal. She had a Japanese mother, an American father, and her big brother, Kenny(whom she called Kennii-chan). Her brother got diagnosed with a fatal illness fairly early in his life, and they did not think he would make it to his 9th Birthday. They never told her what was going on, just that. Some day he would not suffer anymore. The parents tried every doctor they could, but they always said the same thing. There is nothing we can do. They tried to do everything to make his remaining time fun. They found the popular card game Cardfight Vanguard!! and bought him some cards. He took to it rather good, and even started to smile. When his little sister approached him curiously, he taught her the game. For 2 weeks they fought non-stop, smiling and laughing. Talking about how to make their decks better. The parents were happy to see their son so happy, and their daughter making good memories of her brother. However, it was not meant to last. 2 days later in the middle of the night, Kenny passed away.

A cardfight prodigy, she was exceptionally gifted at the game from the start. Being taught at age 5 by her brother, she learned the rules and nature of the game within hours. When she entered her first local tournament, she took 1st place rather easily. From there she even won a few regionals, and even competed in worlds. Though she lost, she got in the top 8 and shocked many people. She now wants to find even stronger fighters and have even more fun games.

Personality: Hikari show her respect in the stage, singing the song to their people, and always cardfighting people to bring light as everyone enjoyed and gain hope.
Backstory: As an age of 5, Hikari is always alone due by her parent died. She tried her best to go in school, but she seem to be ignored of her friends and always fall behind. Her house is destroyed so her own home is at Plaza, sleeping at the chair with no blanket. One day, the boy name AVictor,  a white hair of 10 years old, found her in same spots and saying "You want to go home with me." Hikari was thankful and crying at the same time, but he hugged her, "It okay, I'll take care of you from now on and forever." He give me a deck of Bermuda Triangle, "This is your Deck by the way, this is called Vanguard." AVictor teaching her how to play Vanguard and she very liking it. This is when she become of his family member and cardfighter.
Hikari is watching Idol at wotagei with AVictor when she was 12, she is very interested that she want to become Idol to give people happy and sing for them. So she decide to join "Fantasy World" as an Idol and become a popular Idol as known for now. She shine the bright of the song and never give up of her eternity life.

Personality: A lost, lonely boy who lost his family and friends as childhood, but as he open the Red Destiny Door, he know what he doing, he must fight on and on with Light and Destiny until the war end.

Backstory: The war between Light and Darkness, continue to fighting. My Dad is a knight were die in the war, I survive as a children, and the war still continue. My Mom and friends... is dead alongside me and their parent too... there no one survive. As I struggle, walking though dead body, I feel all alone, but there a light floating as i watch so i follow it. At the end of path with no dead body around me, the light stood here... it talking to me. I can't remember he/she saying, but all i heard is "...i'll join your adventure to seek the truth." The light is going... inside my body. This light... i thought Could this mean the path is going on my...?As i continue to walk, there a path between hope and destiny. When i look back, nothing there, just black all over him. There no way out. The feeling of myself have to walk on.

Blue Hope Door: save everyone and help to lead the path.
Red Destiny Door: seek your revenge and find out of truth.

He make his own choice, but his flashback continue to haunt him, bloody of murder friends and family. He walk to Red Destiny path and open the door. As he wake up when the sun shining at him as he laying down the ground, receiving a fire future sword and black long jacket with hoodies. He know what he doing, he dressed up and carrying a fire future sword. His eye changed black eyes into red firing eyes, feeling changed emotion into lonely, and voice turn into deep voice.

Personality: On the surface, Barry seems like a stereotypical cowboy. Arrogant and smooth talking, he is a dirty fighter who would do anything to gain the upper hand in a fight. However, when he is put into a disadvantage, his cowardice shows itself. Bearing a strong overconfidence that he is indeed the best fighter on Earth, Barry will do anything to prove himself as the greatest and will resort to cheap tactics and outright cheating in order to get what he wants. He is also incredibly greedy, and uses money as a motivation alongside victory.

A dirty liar, Barry is known for his poor ethics and awful attitude during games, mocking and insulting his opponent throughout regardless of their position during the match. He is known to pay sponsors to rig matches in his favour and sees no issue with his actions because he feels it takes him one step closer to his ultimate goal of being the #1 Cardfighter.

Backstory: Born and raised in west Philadelphia and spending most of his days on the playground, Barry once stirred up trouble at the local park, causing him to be sent to his uncle to learn how to cardfight. Apart from that, Barry lived a fairly normal childhood, and despite getting above average grades, dropped out of high school at the age of 18 due to his parents not being able to financially support him. Joining the military and eventually being classed as an exceptional gunslinger, he picked Vanguard up once again and thus pursued it after his career in the army.

Now a wandering traveller who searches the world for strong fighers to challenge. He uses Vanguard as a means to further his ego and show that he is better than anyone else, without picking it up for the reason of having fun or enjoying himself.
