BIG NEWS! BIG NEWS!
Bushiroad has finally revealed the mechanic for Link Joker's newest archetype: Deletors!
Daunting Deletor, Wokshyz
[ACT](VC): [Counter Blast (3)-card with "Deletor" in its card name & Choose one of your rear-guards, and put it into your soul] Delete all of your opponent's vanguard, and this unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn. (The deleted unit is turned face down, its power is 0 and loses its text. It turns face up at the end of the owner's turn.)
[AUTO](VC): At the beginning of your opponent's ride phase, if your opponent has a deleted vanguard, your opponent may choose a card from his or her hand, and discard it. If your opponent does not, your opponent cannot normal ride during that ride phase.
Okay, so before we start, here's some FAQ regarding the "Delete" mechanic:
Q1: What things cannot do a deleted unit?
A1: The abilities written in that vanguard's text box cannot be used. The deleted vanguard can still being ridden by another unit, it can attack and can be boosted. The "Twin Drive!!" of a deleted vanguard is not lost.
Q2: When a vanguard in Legion is deleted. What will happen?
A2: Turn both units face down. The power of both cards become 0, and their texts are lost. However, the information with "this unit is in Legion" is not lost. At the end of your (the owner's turn), turn both cards face up. If you ride a unit over the deleted vanguard in legion, put these cards into the soul face up.
Q3: When a deleted unit, boosted by a unit with 6000 power, attacks an opponent's unit with 11000 power. If it gains +5000 power due to a trigger. Its attack will hit?
A3: Yes. Delete is an ability that reduces the vanguard's power to 0. Change in the power due to abilities and boost are not affected. Also, because critical is not affected, if that unit's attack hits a vanguard, it does damage.
Q4: If "Majesty Lord Blaster" is deleted, the ability of "Knight of Loyalty, Bedivere" can still be activated?
A4: Yes. Information in the deleted unit like its name, grade, clan and nation are not affected.
Q5: Can I ride a grade 2 unit over a grade 3 vanguard?
A5: No. Because information in the delete unit like its name, grade, clan and nation are not affected, you can only ride a grade 3 or higher unit (on a deleted grade 3 vanguard).
Q6: What happens to soul under a deleted unit?
A6: The soul does not move away even if the vanguard is deleted. Soul Blast and references to number of cards in the soul are not affected.
Q7: If I ride a unit over a delete vanguard with the Break Ride ability, and turns it face up, its Break Ride ability will be activated?
A7: No. Because the deleted unit is being ridden while its text is lost, so the ability cannot be activated.
Q8: Can I see the face down card of an opponent?
A8: Yes, it can be read by both players. When you touch your opponents' cards, treat them carefully. (Note: "Do not touch your opponent's cards without his or her permission. If you handle your opponent's cards, handle them with care.")
Q9: If a deleted unit has Restraint, can it attack?
A9: Yes. Because the deleted unit loses its text, it loses its [CONT] abilities like Restraint and Lord.
Q10: When the deleted unit turns face up, the unit's ability with "when this unit is placed on..." will be activated?
A10: No. Turing a unit face up from being deleted does not meet the requirement "when this unit is placed on...".
Now that's in order, let's see how much advantage this card brings to the table to prevent people screaming 'OP!' all over the place.
Delete is a bit tricky. It only works in the VG (so far..) and is pretty similar to Megacolony's stunning skill. But this time, I'm not furious because Delete is simply a similar concept and does not invalidate stunning at all! The cost seems to be balanced enough and the advantage/drawbacks is pretty much the same with Megacolony. The point of it is to prevent the VG from doing anything but riding a G3 on top would pretty much cancel out all possible advantage.
The nice thing about Delete is that Stunning is far more effective in constraining the VG since the Deleted VG can still attack, albeit with very low power. A normal column (16k~20k) would need 15k shield to block for a two pass but since it's Deleted, now its power would probably be in the range of 6k-8k which would only need 5k shield to block for a two pass. Compare that to Stunning that prevents the VG from doing ANYTHING which is automatically a +2 from the missing twin drive and another +2 from not needing any shield! That's a +1 vs. +4. However, Delete has its own offensive benefits from the power minus while Stunning is almost purely defensive. The power minus would mean an additional 10k guard for every normal column which automatically transforms it into a high +2. So that's a +3 right there.
So that's a +3 vs. a +4 so it seems pretty balanced. BUT remember that this is only talking in a very normal scenario where nothing else interferes so in a sense, Delete is a pretty POWERFUL mechanic as those pluses can easily roll out and increase. Not to mention, Deletors belong to a main clan with constant support so I would very much expect them to be ground breaking one day. If only Stunning gets that much support...
Okay, so, just going to sum up all of this with the card up there. Wokshyz is pretty good (not as good as the cards we've seen though). The cost is fair as it requires ESCB3 and a sacrifice. The Delete mechanic gives it a +3 from the power minus and 6k VG attack so in total, it's a +2 for ESCB3 which is surprisingly not much. If the opponent is able to reride, then the calculations turn again. The sacrifice is washed from the opponent's discarded card an another +1 is gained from reriding the opponent's VG. From the Delete mechanic (minus the VG restraint) it's now only a +2 from the power minus in a turn. In the end, it's still a +3 for ESCB3 but again, can still potentially roll up. An upside to this guy is how he's an ACT and pretty much has no restraints or whatsoever while MC needs certain conditions to do their magic.

While I appreciate the amount of effort you put into this thread, all of this is currently in another thread specifically for the contents of the Movie Trial Deck and Movie Pack. In fact, based on post history, you even posted in that thread earlier today.
So unfortunately, locked.
