Starting Vanguard: Ohm
Grade 0's:
4 stands
8 crits: 4 are -Ruler Chameleon(Gets you another copy when retired and activates Minette/Magic Scientist(Legion)'s skills. )
4 Heals.
Grade 1's:
4 pgs
4 Duckbills
2: Taping Cat
4: Monoculas Tiger's
Grade 2's
4: Binocular's Tiger
3: Compass Lion(Sets off skills during end phase by retiring , being the reason why I run it.)
4:Researcher Fox(Legion Mate)
Grade 3's:
2: Minette
2: Chatnoir (Breakride if I get it early game, to get more draw power, etc.)
4: Magic Scientist(Legion)
Purpose of the deck : Power up field, draw for it , return it all back, etc and loop it. So far hasn't lost vs any LJ/Kagero/Narukami decks since I tend to get rid of my field faster and draw for it and swarm on my turn , draw power the units I call by retiring them during end phase.
Decks still in testing so any feedback would be nice if anyone see's something wrong with the build.
It's current win/losses = 10 wins, 2 losses.

Wouldn't 4 Chatnoir be best since she's like the greatest draw engine in the game?

Hm haven't tried 4 yet but I'll try using 4 and see how it works.

Maybe best but it's very slow unless you're not fighting retire based decks then It's not worth riding imo

Are you insane?! The sheer draw power is more than worth the ride! Chatnoir's practically a draw 4-7 combo turn for like, one retire with Duckbill or the other bosses. That kind of advantage is absolutely amazing and wins grind games from the built up guard power and the replacement Rearguards...

Right and what happens when cards like the great and link joker ravaged you before you break ride?

The Great is easily stopped because you'll have built enough hand advantage to stop his rampage or replace everything he killed. If you're playing against Jokers, it's a matter of playing smart. If you can play around Lock by not exploding when they get the chance to Legion, you'll be perfectly fine to net all of your plusses before you get hit with a front row/back row lock.

You do know this Is all theory that you expect to break ride before they legion? Chatnoir does not retire units themselves and not calling anything will not benefit you in the long run. The great will punish you hard and so will link joker. With a heavy crit based deck I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up depleting resources before you get to break ride.

If you don't Break Ride before they Legion, then you do what I said before. Don't explode. If you try to play a burst turn before you're ready, you'll get locked and be unable to do anything at all. The Great can't punish you if you haven't tried to burst yet, and neither can Link Joker. You have 3 turns to ride up to Chatnoir with a draw and a Drive Check per turn to get your resources. There's no guarantee you'll get all of them, but you'll get enough to make a satisfactory Break Ride turn for advantage.
It's a matter of when you want to try and call Rearguards. If you call a few, you call a few. If you burst too quickly and fill up every circle, you'll get punished.
