(GS3) Field: Umano Underground Slums

A dark area where the less honest types of people gather.
Field Status
There's a strange stench in the air.
Shadowy figures are swaying in the distance.
There is a strange sound, like the sound of running electricity.
It must be what the Umano Slums are known for, the Underground Fights.
King of Underground Fights:
Hikaru Nagisaki
Special Rule: The Underground Fights
When a Cardfight is initiated on this field, both fighters, once per game may either:
1) Draw two cards during their draw phase.
or
2) Put a Critical Trigger on top of their deck before initiating their drive check. (Note: You may only place the critical trigger on top before the first check of your twin drive, if you do not, then you have missed the opportunity.)
What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.
Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.
Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.
Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

(continuation from the Train Station story)
Both Itou and the runner got stopped by goons in the Underground Arena, but since none of them had decks to fight with, the goons decided to have an idea for entertainment, by giving both people a deck and let them fight, with the extension of electrical shocks to whoever takes damage. The fugitive did not have any experience with vanguard, so he was not a hard opponent for Itou, his difficulty was found in using new units from a clan he never used called Pale Moon. And after a few turns he managed to win, get the runner and see that his objective was taking advantage of the power outage to steal money. Itou returns to the station, gives back the money and takes the train to head home, but his deck is still missing...

(Continue from the train station)
Hikaru then goes through the alley ways in the deepest parts of town. Knowing the paths as he went here to often vent his frustrations. Putting on his signature sunglasses he headed to the front gates while showing his deck as sign he is participating in the fights.
"You idiots know the drill" The bouncers then stepped aside the young man through as he looked around for any familiar faces.

Haruka makes his way through the shady parts of town. His nose is bandaged up from the earlier encounter that day. "Jesus, women can be so brutal." Haruka cracks his neck tightening his scarf a bit.
He notices the crowd of people surrounding a man in a suit and sunglasses. Haruka knows this place. He's always hated this place. "Bad things happen here..."
A flame starts to burn in the center of his chest and the glow in his eyes flared up. He walked towards the group, cards in hand. "You there!" Haruka pointed at the one in the suit. His arms were weak and his legs were shaking.
What a man you are.
Haruka clenched his teeth as everyone stared at him. If Haruka wants to save the world, he has to start somewhere. Somehow.
"C-C-Cardfight me!" Haruka stuttered out.

Hikaru turned around and saw the man who was shaking every inch of his body. Hikaru delightedly smirked at his opponent. He then clicked his fingers in the air as two goons gave him a pair of standard vanguard gloves.
"You might as well wear the gloves because this fight is going to be tense."

Haruka quickly grabs the gloves and puts them on. "Deep breaths. Deep breaths..." Haruka breathes in once, twice, thrice. He opens his eyes and stares at the man in black. "Let's do this then."
With modified rules in place, Haruka takes advantage of double drawing often. However, one thing he didn't count on was how quickly he managed to burn through his own cards. His weak smirk that he came in with quickly dissipated, while his opponent simply laughed. Upon taking damage, the gloves would push you further, giving you a light shock at 1 damage, and easily making your blood electrify at 5. The game was getting close, however things quickly went south once Haruka realized that he was low on cards in the deck. The fight was lost by deckout. Haruka was crushed, but at least he didn't get hit by the 6th damage electrocution.
"Now you see the difference in our skills," the man in black spoke, peering through his sunglasses.
Haruka clenched his fists and looked up. The flare was brighter than ever. A true rival. Somebody who would test his skills. Despite an alteration in rules, he still managed to lose the fight. This was a truly powerful, and ruthless opponent.
"This proves nothing, not by a long shot!" Haruka shouted. He looks his opponent in the eyes, while taking off the gloves. "I'll be back. You can bet on that."
The man's face no longer bore a grin. It was now wearing a truer smile. "Until then," was all he said.
"'Til then." Haruka spoke back, taking his walk of shame from the slums.
As Haruka made his escape from that humiliating defeat, he heard the voice. But it wasn't the same. It was more sympathetic.
Haru, you truly have gotten stronger. Your skills are lacking and you aren't exactly resonating with your deck. However, your resolve is strong. I believe you can be stronger. Much, much stronger. I believe you can
save everybody
.
Haruka snapped at those words.
Save everybody
. That's right. He must save everybody... No matter what the cost.
AP +2 for Hikaru (albeit, a rivalry has started between the two)

At the end of the fight Hikaru was a bit disappointed. It wasn't that the guy he was facing was bad but it was because of the fact of his over reliance on the use of the slum rules. The shocks weren't at maximum and was set at an average rate. He looks forward to crushing him again without the use of the underground rules.
Then Hikaru realized something. He forgot to ask the guy's name. He shakes the weird thought out of his head as he turns around to face the crowd.
"Alright which one of you is next?"

After returning to his home for the night, Cero awoke to continue his... Misadventures. This time, while wandering, he found his way to the underground slums. Too busy looking at his useless map, he bumped in to a couple of miscreants from the slums.
One of them, probably around 18, turned around with a sneer on his face. "Watch where you're goin', punk! Do that again, and we'll beat the **** outta ya!" Cero was completely unfazed by this goon's threats and continued walking passed them.
The other one, a little older, in his twenties, turned to his partner and said "Think that punk's a rich one? That outfit ain't common here. Looks like a tourist too."
"Yeah, you're right! Let's mug 'im!" The younger of the two grabbed Cero by the shoulder and turned him around. "You don't get to leave, rich punk! Not without beating us in a cardfight!" This reaction caused Cero to smirk. Obviously these people had no idea who he was.
"I accept your conditions! In fact, I'll take both of you on at once!" Cero shouted in response. "Anything less would not be fitting from Europe's King of Vanguard!" The two men laughed at Cero's title and bravado, believing him to just be some nameless tourist trying to make himself look tough. The thugs were confident in their victory, especially since he said he'd fight them both at once. They lead Cero to a set of underground fight tables, and offered him a pair of gloves.
"Put these on, or you won't get the full experience," the thugs chuckled as Cero put the gloves on without a second thought. One of the thugs, believing they'd beat Cero with ease, set the shock level of the gloves to maximum. The fight began with Cero going first, and soon after, he realized that the gloves he was wearing would shock him severely each time he took damage. However, while the thugs thought this would lessen his bravado, Cero simply smirked.
"I see, so the fights here have actual consequences. You should've thought twice before challenging I, Cero Kirguis, Europe's King of Vanguard!" The fight progressed quickly, with Cero absolutely demolishing both of his opponents with ease, even though they cheated throughout the fight. "Weaklings," Cero mumbled as he turned around, removing the gloves, and began to exit the fight area, leaving behind the two unconscious miscreants.

How unsightly.
Ghastly couldn't describe how gloomy and disgusting this placed looked. Yukino would puke if she had to describe these
delinquents
in detail. Chained collars, piercings everywhere, gangly looking beasts of men. These people played card games? Entering the darkness of the slums sent chills down the queen's spine, she needed a shower two seconds upon arrival. Beginning to regret, she at least hoped Dalis didn't mind all of this.
Worry and fear, topped with disdain, turned into irritation. Seeing Europe's "King" again just made her stomach churn more than the place as a whole did. Mostly because he probably had the same idea she had, but he got here first... No matter, she wasn't here to deal with him anyway.
Turning a glance to a nearby fight, Yukino quickly noticed one of the fighters fiddle with the cards in their hand, stacking them, then drawing two cards as if it was one. Probably a form of the cheating they do here.
Dirty and unsightly. There was no one strong here, just cowardly and gross.

"Why... here, of all places?" Dalis muttered under her breath, barely loud enough for Hikari to hear. She looked around at the dirty, run down slums. Hoarse, ragged breathing racked her ears and sent shivers down her spine. The dim light illuminated her skin, bathing her in some sort of golden glow. While the people here were far from impressive, she hoped she could inspire them go leave this disgusting place and pursue a grander life. Idly, she grabbed a spare deck close to her heart from her back pocket. She stared at the card, hearing no voices but feeling some other connection.
"This game is really something..." She whispered softly to Miracle Beauty, sighing and placing her back onto the deck, gripping it tightly.

Cero, having finished thrashing several other of the nameless grunts in the slums, turned away from his table, only to realize Hikari and the disappointing woman from yesterday had arrived. Figuring they had arrived for the same reason he had chosen to stay, Cero approached them, shouting, "No one here is worth your time, besides I, Cero Kirguis, Europe's King of Vanguard!!! I request their strongest fighters, but none have yet to pose even the slightest challenge to me! You're better off leaving, unless you want a rematch against me, 'Chosen Sword.'" Something in the way Cero said 'Chosen Sword' was extremely mocking and condescending compared to the rest of what he said. After this, he walked passed them, doing his best to conceal the rage he felt when he saw Hikari again.

Cero -1 Affinity
This king of jobbers really did it now, what respect she had for him as a fighter diminished with his childish mockery. Did he forget that she thoroughly trounced him? An anger vein forming, clenching teeth, and digging her nails into her palm... it took everything she had to just not clobber the foreigner.
"Do you want another beating?!" she shouted, furious. He wasn't going to leave without getting smacked, rushed by her paladins, or belittled to a level as low as these garbage slum fighters. "I'll use you and everyone else here, save Dalis, as stepping stones in my rise to glory!"
Uh oh, the rampaging majesty got the attention of some of the punk players around...

I walk through these untreated sidewalks with muck here and there. "Disgusting, someone needs to bring a big truck full of Lysol down here and get rid of this horrendous stench." I look around and I still see people Cardfighting, others watching, and even more people doing their own thing. "Are they not bothered by the poor quality of this place, because that takes a quite amount of skill," Hazama says to himself
Then he notices a girl screaming at some guy. "Greeeeaaaattt," he says to himself. Its the same girl from last night who was beating up two people at once. Haha, this will be interesting." Hazama steps closer to the action to hopefully enjoy a good show. "I wish I had brought some popcorn with me. Oh well."

Cero turned around, smirking, knowing Hikari had fallen for his bait. He raised his deck and, shouting yet again, "Fine then, if it's a rematch you want, it's a rematch you'll get!" Noticing that others had taken notice of Hikari, he continued shouting, "All of you back off and clear a fight table! This one is my prey!" Cero began to walk towards a nearby fight table that people had scattered away from, terrified of the man who had just recently demolished most of the strongest Underground fighters singlehandedly.
This time I'll get my revenge against her,
Cero though as he clutched his deck case.

Swiftly dashing over to the table and kicking a slow man out of the way, she slammed her deck on the table.
"I will make you
