'I guess...' Miyuki was still worried, but she tried to ignore it for now.
'Oh, you are living together? That's a suprise!' She tried to force her tone to be bright, not wanting to show her worry. She sighed inwardly, perhaps she should just go straight to the mansion now. In fact why not.
'Hmm, how about coming to the Espoir Mansion with me Haruka? I've decided to head over there now, so unless you don't want to, how about joining me there?'

"Hmm? Oh! Yeah, sure, I'll go. But I don't want to be a bother. I mean, Hana knows you really well, there are probably things she wants to tell you without prying ears, so I can leave if that's the case."
Haruka pockets his hands, letting Miyuki lead the way. He didn't expect to visit that mansion again anytime soon, however it seems thats his destination for the day.
"Whenever you're ready."

Neo had just saw Yukino be taken away by Neu. Neo went over to the forest and texted Neu
Come to the park. I'll be there waiting
Neo sent to Neu
Neo took out his portable cf table and put his deck down waiting for Neu.
"Tonight is the night I get all the answers" Neo said

"Jeez, it took me like ten years to learn how to read Japanese, it was such a pain!" A voice echo'd from across the park.
"But here I am!" She appeared, causing a quick glimmer of light to appear. Her bright hair reflected off the moonlight and flew along with the the wind. She opened her eyes and looked at Neo with her green and orange eyes.
"A fight? Man, I've been looking forward to this for awhile. Alright, hopefully you understand how to have fun now."

Neo saw Neu appear through that bright light again. He felt that something was different but it was the same Neu.
"Oh I will" Neo replied
Neo put his starter down and got ready to cardfight.

Neu's first fight in forever in which she was able to relax herself. She tested out her newfound deck synchronization and full connection. She enjoyed herself in the first fun fight in what could be described as forever. Blaster Dark, Blaster Blade, Majesty Lord Blaster, Exculpate the Blaster. They all came to her hand, and arrived to aid her. It was her victory, destroying Neo's entire field with Exculpate's skill. In the end there were no hard feelings, just mutual respect between fights. It was a lot of fun.
"Just keep enjoying yourself and you Vanguard, Neo."
She vanished once more.

The cardfight Neo had with Neu seemed different then all the other ones. Neo actually had fun facing Neu instead of being angry with her. Despite losing to the mix of Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin, Neo did get some answers he was waiting a long time for.
"It will evolve but now isnt the time" Neu said to Neo when asked about Vermillion.
It confirmed what Neo thought about all along, Vermillion does have an evolution. But as Neu said the time wasnt right and I agree.
After the cardfight had ended. Neo had fell asleep on the park bench and finally woke up to the sun rising.
"Finally some decent sleep" Neo said to himself
Neo then picked up his bag and headed off on this brand new day.

Watashi no Uso
Where else would he be?
The park bench. The famous park bench where his relationship with Yukino and Satoshi had started. The one where he sat and ate ice cream with Hana and friends. The one where he stared at stars and talked with Miyuki for the first time, or at least, talked about something seriously.
That park bench had become sort of a solace to him. Haruka was eating an apple this time around. His health was declining rapidly, but he still wanted something sweet to eat, so apple was the way to go this time around.
...
......
........
Why was she gone, just, so suddenly... What happened?
She was there and then, she just wasn't. Neu had pushed Yukino into the some sort of portal. Presumably the Rift, but Haruka's head was fuzzy from being immediately pushed onto the platform. All he wanted right now was to know she was alive. He would have called several times if he could but he just never did. His body wouldn't do it.
Crunch. Chew. Chew.
Haruka was staring at the one place he felt home, besides home. The sky. The place where he wanted to be right now. Not falling, of course. Flying. It was a kind of dream Haruka had when he was little. Flying would be something he would enjoy.
...
......
.........
"Goddammit..." Haruka shook his head, bringing his knees to his chest. His eyes wandered from cloud to cloud. He managed to sleep last night, but only after several hours of tossing and turning and coping that Yukino might be there when he woke up. But she wasn't. She was ultimately gone as of now.
And Hana too. She up and disappeared too. Voluntarily, sure, but she was gone all the same. She was the person Haruka had first made friends with when he started visiting the area. If it hadn't been for her, Haruka probably would be involved with different people altogether. Tsubasa and Neo could be his best friends instead of the ones he cared about now. The Espoir sisters came into his life, and brought him joy. And with them gone, he was simply. Empty. Not entirely. That would defeat the purpose of living on, but, the void left by Overlord when he disappeared now grew tenfold.
"Please... both of you... come home."
He stretched his hand out to the sky, looking sort of dorky, but he wanted them back so bad he would climb to the top of the tallest tree in the park and jump from it if meant he could catch them and bring them back down to him and all their friends.

Satoshi reached the park. His meal was pretty enjoyable, and he was looking forward to some rest on the park bench so he could think about more stuff, but instead...
Haruka was sitting on the bench next to his sleeping bench. Seemed a little mopey. Probably thinking about Yukino and Hana and everything that had been going on.
Good thing that this was something he was planning on dealing with in the first place.
He sat next to the scarfed boy, patting him on the back.
"What's on your mind, bud?"

After a few more minutes of thinking, Satoshi had appeared from what felt like thin air. Had he had been thinking that hard the entire time?
"E-Eh, oh, Satoshi. Nice to see you."
Haruka meekly smiles, before returning his attention to the sky.
"I was sort thinking. Everyone had sort of disappeared without a second thought. Yukino is somewhere in the rift probably, Hana is wherever she wants to be... Miyuki ran away when we got that news anyways. I actually was wondering what had happened after Yukino had been pushed into the portal, considering I fazed out after that. But now I'm not really too interested."
He waves his hand, sort of throwing away last night. Nothing he wanted to ever remember.
"Er, how about you? It's been awhile after all..." Haruka leans back on the bench, turning back to Satoshi.

Satoshi scratched the back of his head. "Last night was pretty hectic, wasn't it..." It was kind of hard not to talk about what the two had experienced the night before, but all the same...
"Still, while you might not believe this, I think she'll be fine. As fragile as she's seemed recently, I'm pretty sure that having our confidence that she's a person changed things for the better." He folded one leg over the other. "Other than that, I did manage to figure out why I play Vanguard. I said it yesterday. And it's for that reason why I'm willing to understand just about anyone. Having a reason to keep fighting for what you believe in...that's important, noble or evil."
His green eyes shone under the light of the moon as he smiled. "I was hoping to find the two of you at some point and try to help you both find your ways again. I know your avatars aren't the same, but...that doesn't mean they don't share a similar purpose, y'know?"

"I found out something else myself."
Haruka having revelations seemed to be the norm these days. His life was a whole revelation in itself. However he came to believe something inside of him. He had always had this one belief, that things must be destroyed to move forward. That sacrifices had to be made in order to bring better things. These ideals disappeared when the Overlord did, and when Vortimer's voice faded. All he heard was himself, his clear conscious. His decisions became his own and nobody else's.
Well Sera had a part in this, but Sera himself was a part of him. That was their deal, anyways.
"I mean, I've just decided I want to find a new way to play this game. One where I don't have to destroy. My own, or my opponents. One where I can put my soul into the fight." Haruka grins, nodding to Satoshi.
"Once we unseal these clans," because Haruka knew they would be one day, "I'll show you my new Vanguard. Deal?"
"And once we get Yukino and Hana back, we'll set things right. We still have a Miss Edelweiss to deal with, don't we?" Haruka was not fond the girl herself, partly because she sealed away his friend, obviously, but also because she's a giant flirt and it made him really uncomfortable.
Really uncomfortable.

Hana walked across the park to check on her sand castle. It's been awhile since she's had a walk like this. The air was refreshing and the breeze was blowing through her hair. She didn't notice how long it's gotten. She took one of the hair ties that was on her wrist and tied her hair into a ponytail. The park was the same as always, such a great place at night. The silence was golden.
On her path to her sand castle as always seems the two who she always run into while into the park. Yukinee's bf and New Thirst-kun stood in front her, on the way to her sand castle again, like many months ago. She walked up behind them, "Um, hello!"

Before Satoshi had given an answer, a face he hadn't seen in quite a while appeared before him. One of the couple he had been waiting to see for a while.
"H-Hana...?
...
....
Hana!!"
Haruka nearly jumped off of the bench to run up to Hana and start spouting nonsense about the last bit of time happening. It had been about 3 days since they saw each other, but Haruka was pretty wishy-washy and felt sort of bad about not being able to say good-bye before Hana left. He simply said, after calming down and taking a deep breath.
"It's good to see you, again, Hana." He kept using her name. One thing Haruka learned from his aunt was that using somebody's name meant more than just calling out to them or addressing them as 'dude', or 'pal.'

"It's nice to see you again!" She smiled and waved at Yukinee's bf.
It's been a long few days. Of course, she wasn't really able to sleep much cause of the guilt, but she felt awake right now because of the eggs that she ate on her way out. She has to check on the council later so she's feeling a little stressed out. Not only that, but her tiara was kind of expensive, that's going to be annoying to fix...
Well during her few days abroad she's been kind of missing some of the people in this town. It's not like they knew her much and vice versa, but it didn't hurt to miss them at least for the few good times.
"How have you been?"
