How do you host a game and play with a friend?

Hi,

I'm new to Cardfight Area and I wanted to play with a friend of mine through cfa, when we can't meet in RL. But I just can't get the hosting of a game to work.

Is there a special requirement to do this and if so can someone tell me how we can play together? I didn't find anything when I searched for "host game" in the forums.

I'm also having this problem. The guide, says that you have to give your friends your IP address, but I did that, and the game says that I can't connect to the server. The port the game specified to you in order to host the game( Port: 14801 ) is what both of us use. Is there something I'm missing? I don't have a lot of knowledge of networking, so I might have gotten things wrong.

I wonder if you(the OP) have figured this out. Somebody, please help us out...

To fight a friend, you do not need to host locally. Just log onto the server and play with each other.
Also, for steady replies you should join the official discord server.
