(GS3) Field: Destroyed Shopping District
Cherry:
Yuki first noticed Satoshi fall facefirst into the pavement and Gordon let out an audible "Ooo..." to describe how the pain of that made him cringe. The woman got on her feet, then crouched down and tried to help him up. "You alright?" she questioned, then again, hitting solid concrete hurts more than she can imagine, probably. It took her a good couple of moments of checking on the hick man before hearing this blonde new comer address her.
"Yes, me?"
Hyo:
Ughhh what a crappy day, you pathetic triggers showing up at all the wrong times. If you weren't powerful machines I'd skin you alive with a pair of nail clippers!
Ring Girl Clara what's wrong with you.... Why do I draw 3 of you so many times... You made me lose to dirt...
But tomorrow will be a new day, and with a new day a new opportunity shall rise
Itou I'm coming for you
I don't forget or forgive
Write your will and your world you know will slowly disappear
Soon my friend, your true happiness will be found
I almost laughed
Kisaragi Zane:
Jellal steps forward but stops to look at the fallen Satoshi, seeing him in pain. Jellal stared for a second but then cut his eyes and looked back at the white haired girl. He eyes lit a faint blue as he pointed at her deck.
"How or why do you bother speaking to your cards?" his expression was curious and concerning.
Cherry:
"Because I'm the chosen one, of course", she answered with a straight face full of arrogance. The sheer absurdity of her confidence in this answer as to why she talks to her cards like a nutjob was mindblowing. It addressed "how" and in a way "why", as only some magical heritage or blessings... or curse could be how someone communicates with Cray's residents. "Why" is answer by her just being destiny's child.
Beryl:
Satoshi heard the footsteps of a newcomer as he laid face-first on the concrete. He also felt delicate hands nudge him, seeing if he was okay. The touch he recognized from his handshake at Card Capital. Yukino, for sure. But the footsteps didn't come from her...
"Ah'm okay, jus' a bit of a tumble..." He got up on his knees, brushing himself off a little before briefly looking to Yukino with a grateful expression, and then to the blonde gentleman, standing tall, who had just questioned about talking to cards.
"Oh, ah do that m'self. S'cause the cards're my friends, y'know?"
