(GS3) Field: Rijuku Park

[Kaze Natsume]

"Phew what a tiring day." Kaze said letting out a sigh. Kaze sits along side a tree and watches as the kids in the park play around. "Man I didn't think I would be helping people all day." he said. Kaze was helped the Shop unpack the boxes due to having low staff today, then help someone get their cat out of a tree, and help and old lady with her groceries. She was nice enough and insisted that Kaze stayed for dinner so he did. "Then again helping people have there rewards." he said to himself.

Kaze lies down and looking at the sky. He pulls out his deck in front of him "Soon, soon enough we'll get what we're looking for." he said. Kaze puts his deck back in his pocket and continues to relax looking as the clouds go by.

[Kisaragi Zane]

Jellal ventured into the park slowly walking, watching the people relaxing and expressing themselves. He saw a few children playing a game of cards with each other while others around their age circled around them. He stepped closer to the bench as he examined closer at the cards, Vanguard. He looked at the units in question: Nova Grapplers vs Tachikaze. Both boys grinned at each other with such confidence. They were both aiming to win yet were having the greatest time of their lives.

"These kids.." Jellal said to himself. He shut his eyes and turned his head. Jellal then sensed a sudden change in the area, as he opened his eyes, something catching him off guard. He looked up to see a bright red headed boy looking off, in a train of thought.

"He's..." memories flowed into Jellal as he thought of Shadow Paladin, Phantom Blaster Dragon, and terror. Jellal's was confused but he felt something calm him down. A small breeze went past him as he looked up and opened his deck case. The Aqua Force was staring back at him, where he could feel their divine will protecting him from the ominous feelings that he felt passing into him. He shook it off and approached the red-headed boy. "Kaze... Ryuenji..." he thought to himself.

[Kaze Natsume]

Kaze senses as someone approaches him. "J-J-JELLAL!!!" he shouted. "You have some nerve approaching me out of the blue like this. Matter fact while your here you can start by explaining what you know about me." Kaze says with anger in his voice.

Kaze stands up and pulls his deck out of his pocket. "If you don't tell me I'll beat it out of you!!!" he says holding the deck with rage.

"Kaze..." Jellal eyed the stack of cards that he held in his hands. It has been two months since he's last seen him, looking the same as they met. He had hoped they'd get to fight, especially now that he's regained Aqua Force: Jellal's birthright. He knew there was no way out of this situation. He thought back to the past when Kaze held Phantom Blaster Dragon while they met at the shop, and how he was defeated by Soul Saver Dragon. "I wonder..."

"Before we start, I have a question for you." Jellal approached him with deck in hand, and his blue eyes interrogating Kaze's very being. "Do you remember the card that you picked up for me the last time we met?"

[Kaze Natsume]

"Huh? Yeah of course." Kaze said puzzled. "Wait... n-no i don't." he said with a sad voice. Kaze looked at his hand as it started to shake. "W-why can't I remember? I know I picked up a card it was in my hands, and it gave me a headache..." Kaze said looked at Jellal not realizing there was a tear in his eye. "TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW!!!" he demanded.

Kaze wipes his tears and put sets his deck up. "Right now!" he said.

"I see.. so you don't remember either." Jellal turned to the side, placing his chin between his thumb, pondering more on the situation. "He turned back at Kaze and pointed his thumb to the left side. "Over there" he said to him. "We can fight over there, follow me." Jellal proceeded to walk as he knew this card fight would mean a lot to him. It would be the same as before, but this time, he had his proud armada with him. The wind picked up as Jellal led to the secluded fight table. He turned back and faced Kaze, fixing his deck to the deck zone area and starting up the match.

"This is it, the moment I've been waiting for."

Jellal and Kaze had their fateful encountered ended in a cardfight. Jellal's legendary Aqua Force was up against the Gold Paladins: a clan that Jellal has never seen or heard before in his life. Much like the white armored Royal Paladins and the dark Shadow Paladins, the Gold Paladins were covered in layers of gold in their attire. They played like both Paladins: superior calling and filling their fields for a big play. Kaze's deck focused on a chain of units called "Vortimer" of the Black Dragon, which retired their allies and called new ones, similar to both Shadows and Royals respectively. Jellal pushed Kaze to five damage early on with a heavy Aqua Force rush led by his Blue Storm Dragon, Maelstrom. Finally, Kaze rode his grade 3: Spectral duke Dragon, a golden black dragon that held a halbred in his hands that loomed over the battlefield much like a familiar black dragon. After he finished his attack, Kaze activated his limit break, which stood up his Spectral Duke Dragon but at the cost of 3 units and loss of Twin Drive. However, unlike the callous sacrifice that was trademark to the original Phantom Blaster, Spectral Duke was more refined and honored those sacrifices in an attempt to finish the fight. Although, those sacrifices weren't enough as Jellal countered with Maelstrom's limit break, ending the game.

Jellal had inquired on why Kaze chose Spectral Duke, to which he responded with a familiar set of words that he knew all too well. "Nothing can be gained without sacrifices." His original creed that he upheld when he was chained to his Shadow Paladin deck during the time. He could relate, but he couldn't understand why someone like him would even believe that. However, Jellal knew why, since he knew more about Kaze than Kaze did himself. Kaze added that he's always had the deck, which, Jellal knew that wasn't the case. Kaze's deck when they last fought was Royal Paladins, Soul Saver Dragon. He inquired on it only for Kaze to respond with he didn't remember. It was the same case with Shadow Paladins, Royals had disappeared mysteriously from the minds and hearts of fighters.

"I wonder..." Jella thought as he remember a certain white haired Paladin user. "Does she remember?" In order to find out, Jellal ventured to his next destination, hopefully meeting up with his former adversary: Yukino Espoir. "She's got to know something about this. She did use Royals... and Shadows against me." he said to himself. As he left, he promised Kaze that they'd fight again, agreeing to meet at the park to settle everything.

[Kuro]

After calling Neu from the amusement park, Haruki and his friends discovered that she was at Rijuku park. Parks must be popular today, the young man thought to himself. He soon got off the phone after telling her they would be there soon.

The three guys, plus one giant tiger, left the arcade after having a great time, and they reached the quieter park to see Neu once again. The evening sky was peaceful and calming. Haruki was happy for them to be able to meet again. Learning more about Vanguard and its clans could be interesting and fun too.

"Well guys, she should be here any minute now," he said to his friends as they looked for Neu to show up.

Neu walked into the park at night, a bit timid and a bit excited.

"Oh boy, friends! ... but what if i get jumped, that's no fun." She walked across the park's path eventually going down a path past the sand boxes and playgrounds. She fanned herself, getting a little tired from walking. She held on tightly to a black purse which she had brought with her tonight as it had her wallet and everything. Eventually she had reached her destination, seeing a group of three and recognizing the third person, she approached them slowly, thinking to herself, "what if they'll actually jump me..."

Waiting with Tsubasa and Haruki, Neo spots Neu from a distance

"Hey Neu" Neo said

"We called you tonight because we want to challege you to a cf. We feel if we cardfight you, we will find answers to the questions we all have" Neo said

Haruki saw Neu walking towards his group of friends, so he waved hello while still clutching his giant plush in his other arm. Now that she was finally here, Tsubasa could meet her and learn that she wasn't as bad as he thought she was.

"Hey Neu! Good to see you again!" The young man of justice called out to her as she came over.

"So that's Neu..." he thought, as he saw a woman approach him and his two friends.

Tsubasa was eyeing Neu as much as he can, for any signs of the decks he heard and saw her use. In the end he wants to know the details of what had happened to those clans and everyone's memories.

"Sorry to call you here on such short notice, but we have some important questions for you, Neu." he said

"Hey guys," she did a little wave as she approached them.

She see's that Haruki is holding a giant plush toy. She tries not to notice it, but its obvious that she's trying to hold back her laughter because of how random it is. It seems that they called her out here for a Cardfight, which isn't bad. She's kind of in the mood for a few fights here and there. She thought about what deck to use for a little. "May as well cycle through them, she thought to herself." She reached for her purse and reached for a hair tie.

"Alright, I don't mind a fun fight, I'm always good to go. Unless I like, want to sleep or something, that's besides the point." She ran her hands through her long black hair, the moonlight shining upon it. She closed her eyes a little as she tied her hair into a ponytail. When her eyes opened, they were a bright orange, reflecting off the light of the skies. She straightened out her black gown and then reached for her bag once again. She took out a deck and showed it to them.

"Sure, you an ask the questions as we fight."

[Helios]

Hazama approaches the park with leaving Iri on tue train home. Then, he suddenly hears a conversation with some familiar voices in them. He walks over to see who is playing. And sure enough, its the trio who he really gets on his nerves alot. Then, oppisate of them, he sees a girl hes never seen before.

This is defenitaly something I dont want to miss out on.

Hazama walks closer to the event to see whats going down.
