As Haruki's friends prepared to have some cardfights with Neu and learn more about the clans, Haruki decided to sit and watch the fights with his giant tiger. It was comfortable, since it was like having a soft pillow to rest on while watching his friends do battle.

"Good luck guys, have fun," the young man of justice said as they began.

The 6th damage fell, and Neo had lost once again to Neu who was using another clan that was sealed away. This time it was Royal Paladin.

When the cardfight ended, Neo then asked the question;

Neu, around here lately there have been certain clans that have vanished around here, But the clans that have vanished.. You use them in your fights. I was wondering, Where did you get clans Like Kagero, Royal Paladin and?" Neo asked her

What... What is this... Royal Paladin??

Hazama watches, as the new clan he has bever seen before, but oddly rings a bell, defeats the Narukami player. At the sight of the new clan, Hazama steps forward to intervene with the people at the fight table.

"Royal Paladin. What is this clan? Where did you get it? And why does it ring a bell, but i cant quite put my finger on this clan?" he asks the Royal Paladin player.

[Kuro]

Haruki was surprised when Hazama interrupted the group shortly after Neo and Neu's cardfight, but he waved hello anyway as he came over. Both Hazama and Neo asked similar questions, how she got these legendary clans in the first place. Haruki was worried that Hazama here might bring the mood down, but thinking about Neu's positive attitude towards Vanguard, he thought that maybe she could become friends with him if they all got to talking.

The young man of justice continued to observe with his plush, seeing how Neu would respond to these rapid-fire questions.

"That was fun." Neu commented as she cleared the table of her cards.

Suddenly, she was approached by one other unfamiliar person as well as Neo's question. Right, the million dollar question that she's always asked. Would the usual answer work here? She isn't from around here so of course she would be holding some unfamiliar things. She paued for a bit and looked around, getting a glance at each and every person around her.

She smiled a little per usual, "Well, where did you get your cards? Friends? Family members?... or y'know... just the store? These cards were gifts to me from a group of people whom I know."

Neo wasnt sure how to answer that question considering he only has Narukami because Kagero vanished.

"Ive had Narukami since my Kagero clan vanished" Neo said to Neu

Even if this would confuse Neu, Neo told it to her anyway because it was the honest truth

Tsubasa noticed Hazama stepping in after seeing the Royal Paladin clan, but before he can deal with him he had to understand Neu throught cardfighting first.

"Before I raise my questions, I have to understand something for myself." he said, as he began to take out his deck."I challenge you to a cardfight Neu, use any clan you like but let's do this." he said with determination in his eyes.

Something was unsettling about Neu's answer back there to Neo, Tsubasa is interested to find out all he can about her.

[Hope]

Another challenge, now Neu was even more excited.

"Alright, alright then, we can fight now, talk later!" She smiled as she released another deck from her bag and placed her starter onto the table.

"Let the good vibes and times continue!" she exclaimed.

[Kuro]

*yawn*

Haruki gave out a soft yawn as he leaned his head onto his giant tiger plush. Although the events going on around him were exciting, the calming environment and fluffy pillow by his side made him a bit sleepy as the night went on. Nonetheless, the young man of justice was persistent, and stayed up to watch Neu fight against Tsubasa next. Another fun fight was always worth watching.

The 6th damage fell into Tsubasa's damage zone, having suffered his second loss with the gold paladins was a painfuk feeling for him, it bothered him that he could not find the strength to push on when he needed to. In the end he needs to get some answers and after fighting Neu he has a more clear idea of what she is like.

"...I enjoyed our game Neu." he said. " A loss is a loss but right now I need to get my answers, please understand i'm not here to scare u or hurt you, i'm only here because I have something important to me to protect, so I will get right down to the point."

"..That 'explanation' you just said gave us is vague to say the least and it does not clarify what we are trying to understand." he said. "Even if you did get these clans from friends, or family or any of the several 'choices' you just told us, it still does not explain an important point."

Silence filled the park after Tsubasa's statement, the mood had definitely become a bit serious but then again to him messing with someone's mind and clan was unreasonable and unforgivable, it totally contradicted with what Vanguard is.

"Explain to me how you're the only one who remembers these clans.." he said. "Apparently I used to play Royal Paladin before the Gold Paladins two months ago, also Neo used to play Kagero before Narukami, but even with that knowledge me and him cannot remember a single time we used those cards!" he said with a stern voice.

" You asked me how I was sure, I spoke with Yukino a person who like you remembers the clans but unlike you she lost it because the clan disappeared mysteriously, and see that guy who just approached you inquiring about the Royal Paladins, he unwillingly did that because like him I feel a connection to that clan, as i'm sure you know the reason for." he said. "I trust my friends and I for one don't want anyone to mess around with this game or more importantly our memories."

[Hope]

So interesting, now this is becoming so cool!

Neu removed the hair tie from her hair, letting her long and shining black hair fly free with the wind once more. Time to fight was over now, she can relax and let heart, still beating fast from the exciting calm down.

She gave them one statement.

"What's lost in a Cardfight can only be won back in Cardfight," she turned to all of them, scanning their faces, "You guys heard that before right?" She crossed her arms, waiting for their responses.

"I have" Neo replied

So anything lost in a cardfight, can only be gained in a cardfight.. But in this case we didnt lose our clans in a cardfight. But right there Neo realized it. "We have to cardfight to get the clans back in a cardfight" Neo said

But one problem.. How?" Neo said.

"Neo makes a good point, we get that things lost in a cardfight can only be regained through a cardfight..but you're forgetting that these clans and our memories, were stolen not lost...unless..." he said.

"Tch...who is it that we have to defeat exactly to get those parts of ourselves back, answer me Neu, is it you? are you really the one who caused all this?" he asked

[Kuro]

"I've never heard that before, sorry. I'll be sure to remember it though." Haruki thought Neu's statement about cardfights was an interesting way to answer Tsubasa's position on the clans and his memories.

A riddle in itself when said in context with the missing clans, but also a good motto to go by for a man of justice like Haruki. If him or a friend was feeling down because of a cardfight, it'd only take another fun fight to return their spirits back to the original height. A motto of justice if Haruki had ever one.

He still saw that Tsubasa and Neo's suspicions of her continued to grow as she said this. Haruki hoped this would end well between them all.

They all seemed surprised, almost distressed. Neu couldn't help but laugh as she didn't understand it at all. How they all feel like they've played these clans since for-freaking-ever, how they show such passion when they use them, even more that she does. This was the problem, why did they hate this state, is it because those things were their true clans? They lived in blissful ignorance for two months, not knowing about these clan's existences, not doing a single thing about it, and now they act as if these clans are amputated limbs? That is what Neu didn't understand.

"Stolen and lost are the same thing. When you lose a fight, the victory is stolen, the prize is taken from you, your right to exist on the surface of Cray is lost, simple as that." She explained. She walked around the table now, playing with her fingers by flicking it on the table for fun.

"Man I mean why are you guys so eager to get these back? How are you even so sure that your information is reliable? Someone who forgot, telling someone who forgot? Jeez, that's not right." She giggled a little more. She wanted to tell them the truth sincerely, but she also didn't want to ruin the game from them.

She went over to Tsubasa and stuck out her pinky for a promise and sighed. "Man I asked some other guy to promise me today that he'd keep having fun with Vanguard regardless of what happened and I got rejected... sheesh worse than high school prom- I mean .... it was bad. Just pinky swear with me that no matter what, you will continue to love this game, and show other good an exciting fights as you did with me tonight."
