"Yeah I wonder myself. ...In any case I'm going to shower and go out and explore a little bit before we start. Could use the time to get familiarized with the area."
Seifer told Neo before walking into the bathroom shutting the door and turning on the water. It wasn't long after that Seifer walked out drying his hair, dressed in his usual red dress shirt, black slacks, and black boots. After coming out of the shower, he pulled on the lion necklace again and gave a light wave to Neo before walking out of the hotel room to go who knows where.

The 12 hour flight had taken a lot out of Tsubasa, but he was not one to stay in bed for too long. He decided to rest up for about two hours before going out of the Hotel room to get some sight seeing and browsing of the city before the circuit started.
"The flight was tough, but overall to throw such an opportunity to browse New York would be a complete waste..." he said, as he began to change for today.
"...Hmmmm I wonder which area I should check out first." he said, as he began leaving the room. "..Oh..can't forget this.." he says, as he goes to grab his deck box and leaves the room, locking it as he left.

After a long trip, and only a few hours of rest, Makuto decided to head out and meet his opponent. He didn't know who his opponent actually was or what clan he uses, the only thing he knew was that if he wouldn't hurry, his would be late and not being able to read maps was a pain.
Even though he felt pretty anxious, he was really excited to take part on a competition like this one and he couldn't wait to fight his opponent.

Staring up at the ceiling fan of his hotel room, Satoshi paged a quick message to Yukino and Haruka:
First time flying. Worn out. Let's grab food at Times Square at some point, just not right now. Passing out.
He then did exactly as he said he would. First time on a plane had made him discover that he had motion sickness, and the flight attendant who gave him a bag had suggested he pick up medication when he was to return to ease the pain a bit.

Hana woke up from her nap with Mi-hime. It seems that she was still asleep. Hana ran her hand through Mi-hime's forehead and fixed her hair and took at look at her sleeping face. "Kawaii..." Hana smiled to herself. She then got up from the bed and did usual preparations. She took a shower, got dressed, and headed out.
"Now then... where to go..." Hana thought to herself while checking her phone.

After the flight, Cero stopped in at the hotel he was supposed to say it. From the moment he walked into the door to the moment he left after checking in to his room and dropping off his baggage, only one thought came to mind, "This place is
terrible."
Every staff member Cero met was incompetent, the bed was far too uncomfortable, and the room was small. The only thing acceptable was that the rooms appeared to be cleaned more regularly than most others Cero had been in. Especially the beds, which made up for their lack of comfort. However, the cons still outweighed the pros, bringing Cero to leave the hotel, wanting to spend as little time in it as possible.

My cf was schd right after the plane landed. I ran straight to the stage. I won both of my cfs. So far so good, all i have to do is win 2 more and im in the finals
...Shin'en texted his mother, his calls wouldnt go through. After the cardfight Shin'en went straight to his hotel room. He tried to go to sleep but couldn't..he didn't know if it was excitement or nervousness , not to mention the bed collapsed as he sat on it. Instead he went to town square, he had never been to New York before.

With Haruka's tournament career down the drain after Round 1, he laid on his bed. It was somewhat bitter at first, but it subsided the moment he saw the fire in Yukino. She was no longer bound to the chains that shackled her inner flame. Haruka knew all too well what that felt like with a helping hand from his dragon BFF. In the end, Haruka wasn't able to pull through the wins he wanted. He scolded himself a bit on misplays and things of the like, but it wasn't the win he really wanted. Maybe he wanted to prove his worth? In the end, it was only met with a comment. That the resolve Haruka presented was what Yukino had fallen in love with in the first place. The feeling that brought to his chest could only be explained as nearly powerful as what Overlord had given him the first time.
With that, something sparked inside of him. His inner flame cooled and turned to heat all over. It was no longer concentrated and harsh, burning those who come too close. It was soothing, the wounds on the inside and the out were healed by such an amazing feeling. The warmth was ephemeral, as after he left the hall he was now somewhat cold. Icy, if anything. With his thoughts of winning aside, he had learned what he wanted from his Vanguard. He wanted to fight from the heart, not from the blade.
Even if it meant striking over and over to achieve that goal, he would continue to fight with his goal in sight. This was only the beginning, after all.
Yukino +5 AP
With that, Haruka laid on his bed, staring at his ceiling. His Vanguard had been decided.

After the mind-numbingly long flight, Noah got his stuff and walked to the hotel. He didn't have to carry much, as he was a light packer. He pretty much just brought necessities, his deck, his phone, and his wallet. When he checked into the hotel, he went straight to his room to take a shower. Afterwards, he decided to head out. He had everything he needed to go out. Wallet, check, phone, check, deck, check.
"All right, I'm finally back in the U.S., this is my chance!" Noah thought to himself happily. The adventure had just begun.

Hana returned to the hotel with the dog. After a long day of walking around, the dog went to its dog sleep bed thing to go take a dog nap. Hana looked around the room to check on Mi-hime since she was asleep when she left her this morning and she was also wonder if Mi-hime spent the whole day in the room.
"Mi-hime, are you awake yet? Get ready, we're going to go somewhere!"

Miyuki stretched and looked around the room. She had slept longer than she'd meant to, and Hana had already left. She shrugged and left the room to go the lobby. There was some stuff she had to take care of anyway. It was slightly sad that she probably wouldn't be able to look around much today, but there was still tomorrow, or the day after.
Eventually she returned to the room, and fell into a light sleep again. She was still jetlagged apparently, and was just feeling tired in general. She woke after hearing Hana call for her. 'Hmm? Y-yeah I'm awake. Where are we going?'

She was caught by surprise when Mi-hime popped up behind her. "Oh!" She exclaimed upon turning around. Mi-hime looked like she just woke up, a strange jet-lagged sleeping schedule, but perfect timing with the reservation. Hana walked up to Mi-hime and looked her straight in the eye and held her hand.
"Mi-hime get ready, w-we're going on that d-deito today..." She blushed and almost turned away as she said it.

'O-oh ok~ You did say we were going to go on a date sometime.' She could see Hana blushing, and wondered briefly why. She quickly went to make sure she wasn't a total mess, then returned to Hana.
'Alright, I'm ready to go.' She took her hand, ready to follow her to wherever they were going.

After exploring New York, what parts he felt comfortable doing so right now, Seifer returned to the hotel. Opting to lounge around the lobby for a little while, the brunette male picked up one of the random magazines that were obligatory in hotel lobbies, the generic magazines about housing and the like. The one he'd decided to pick up though was about fishing, and while he wasn't entirely big on it, he thought it seemed somewhat interesting to read about and possible explore later on in life as a past time. Flipping through the cheap paper feel of the magazine, Seifer sat down on one of the lobby couches and relaxed, losing himself and his sense of time for the immediate future.

Alexander had flown in to NYC to see the vanguard circuit up close, wanting to both catch the sights and hope to see top class fighters going at it live. He seemed a tad exhausted, not having caught any sleep on the twelve hour flight, not to mention having been awake the whole day before the fight to boot. Luckily he was able to see the fights he had missed on the flight there, the circuit having been broadcoasted during the journey much to his joy.
Though, as he checked into the hotel, he had a pained expression on his face. Sorting out his things within the hotel room as his thoughts lay elsewhere, the disappointment of not having been able to participate in the regional or national tournaments echoing in his mind. His thoughts wandered as he imagined himself on the stage with all the others there now. He sighed, the breath of air itself being something similar to him breathing out his negative thoughts, smacking his palms against his face to bring him back to reality. "I'll have my chance some other time." The words spoken as encouragement, trying to not keep himself down over his bad luck.
Hastily, he had finally settled into the hotel. His clothing and other personal items placed in both comfortable yet secure locations, but having soon came to the conclusion that staying inside would just worsen his mood he quickly grabbed his phone, deck case, wallet, and keys. Giving the case a tiny look, opening it to eye the mechanical dragon which lay at it's forefront. "We still gotta show what we can do, partner." Speaking to his card, the idea of what he was doing dawning on him as his eyes hastily looked to his sides, hoping no one saw him. Of course, the card didn't respond back, or more that even if it did their words would have fallen on deaf ears.
As he headed out of the hotel it had finally registered to him that he had no idea where he was going. New york being a sprawling metropolis that confused even it's native inhabitants, this may have been a bad move on the lads part. He hoped his rudimentary english skills would suffice, walking onwards, the direction he was heading likely going towards Central Park. For Alexander it honestly didn't matter where he was going, as long as he got to see the circuit matches, and possibly enjoy a few vanguard fights, he would be more than content on that alone.
